For my friends Bach in 2021 the group of us learned a popular TikTok dance and recorded ourselves from start to finish learning it and finally nailing it as one of the activities. We spent a holiday weekend in an Airbnb together so we had plenty of time to learn 😂 food wise one night did taco bar next night pasta bar - great for a large group.

Great decision on 1) sustainability of the party gifts because our environment definitely doesn’t need stuff that people won’t reuse after the party and 2) supporting small businesses especially hopefully minorities like women, people of color etc and 3) not centering around drinking… I’ve been sober for a year now and not having that social lubricant has made my relationships so much more meaningful!
@@k10158 thank you!! The goal is to be super mindful with what I’m purchasing and what we’re doing throughout the weekend. I want everyone to have fun, and it to be cute, but in a practical way!
What's the difference between a bachelorette and a bridal shower? I'm not sure we differentiate here in the UK! Also - I think you'll do great with the planning for your sister. The most important thing is to just stay true to what you know she enjoys, whilst making it fun yet tasteful. Every bride is different with the kinds of things she likes and when it's your sister, I don't think you can miss the mark!
Aww thank you! A bachelorette is typically a trip with the bride’s bridal party (so the maid of honor, bridesmaids, etc.). Normally a weekend long occasion. A Bridal Shower is a party or a brunch that’s thrown by the maid of honor/mother of the bride and includes family, friends, colleagues, etc. to help celebrate the bride before the wedding!
@HannahGraceRiddle Ahhh that makes a lot of sense. So basically the same as a baby shower but minus the baby, haha! We call the bachelorette party a hen party, but we'd also call a 'tame' even like the bridal shower a hen party. Or just combine both things and make a wild yet sophisticated weekend of it 🤣
