Sunspot is an amazing counter, he can perfect block each hit of specials as long as he parries one hit, and no need to care about the power gain because sunspot won't need to hit a lot as perfect blocking will remove his incinerates and give him power

He’s been taking R6 6*s and R3 7*s in war very quickly for me with his true damage effects. Love the content!
I have a R3 7* Wiccan and he melts Serpent. Wiccan is the best Serpent counter and the safest since he's the easiest to use and can prevent Serpent's abilities. I've never banned Serpent because I have a R2 7* but also because I think he's very easy.
I just landed 522 hits against the Winter Soldier in the realm of legends. I didn't use dexterity. Is that good? I dunno because I am not a pro player. If you think I am lying, I can send you a screenshot too.

Mojo is also a good counter for him. He reduces the duration of serpents buffs, even his death immunity buff.

@@assassin00014 nah, I used a 3* mojo and practiced on a 7* R3 serpent, and I was usually able to get him down in under or slightly over a minute.
Problem is Mojo's damage is HORRIBLE mojo would be fun if his damage was at least competitive with mid tier bg attackers...

The main problem with Serpent is his power gain, and abs man doesn't have a way to power control.

The only reason you can cook him is because of WIccans neutralize which disables cosmic champs buffs not like it's a special recipe or anything
