Yes, most of 1200 rated players are too easy for him, he has almost double 1200 rating. But at his rating there are players who can actually challenge him
19:50 Ahh the Von Henning gambit. Not sure what the engine says about it now, but 25 years ago when I was learning chess and learned the caro-kann, I figured out that just playing b5 attacking the bishop, and then playing normal Chess seems to turn out just fine for the black pieces.
I believe he is a cheater for sure. But I’ve seen Magnus and Hikaru miss mate in one. That’s what humans do. That’s how you get checkmates. However missing twice in a row tells me otherwise. The first guy was definitely a cheater.
@@kingsolo6241 All grandmasters make terrible blunders once in a while, as you said - we are not machines, but when strong players blunder it should be noted. The dead giveaway happened when he started moving way quicker once he had a huge material advantage.
I believe some of your opponents know you are streaming so they watch you live if there's no delay in your stream, that means they know what you are thinking
Hi Nelson! Just a suggestion, why dont u put a 5 min delay on ur streams so stream snipers cant see what ur planning to move. Apart from that i just want to say that i learned a lot from ur streams and keep on going!
@ethereum572 i mean 19times out of 20 when he does accuse his opponent, they actually cheating and their account gets banned. Maybe he has a good reason than. 😉
You had a chance to take the bishop with your pawn but didn't, just one more move, and that's why you lost. The bishop took your pawn instead, and that one pawn difference allowed him to get a queen in the end. Maybe that's one basic principle one must consider: whenever you can take a piece with a pawn, do it. If you keep lingering there's always the possibility that the other side will sacrifice the piece to capture the pawn.
hey nelson. just wanted to say that those red borders on the thumbnail are not so great cause they can make you think you already watched the vid. keep up the good work love the vids
tbh I would have thought about taking the bishop too because of the obvious queen follow up. And I also would have moved the king to f6 because it avoids the next queen check and so gains time to bring the rook in. And I'm just a 900something.
My guess is he views the time used by 900’s differently. If you notice, there’s a bunch of stuff you consider that’s bad Nelson never does, because at his level, certain things become much more obvious.
That's his point. You, as a 900 would think about that. 2100 would not think about that. 900 ELO is in maybe the 40th percentile, while 2100 is probably somewhere around 95th.. completely different view of the game.
Yeah I'm not at that level also but his move looked quite normal, as open rook and get tempo on queen and also you always considering take bishops or not as most of cases it's a trap or you don't see a fallow. But I really can't know of he was cheating or no. But seemed was fine for me . But I'm not a expert 😂 just saying my thoughts. Peace and absolutely love your streams
Time usage in a single move is not an evidence for rice cooking. There could be several reasons for a move delay, like he was actually eating rice or had to talk with someone in the background. Also, sometimes im thinking about the next move even if the current is already obvious, that's a time waste of course and maybe one of the reasons why im losing so often on time 😅
Based on one of his past experiences dealing with a cheater. They said their delay to play was because they were turning on their rice cooker. Next thing you know they are playing perfect moves when they weren’t prior 🥲
01:51:42 I just noticed that you missed Qc1 at this timestamp. Still losing, but at least not a piece down. You're hitting your opponent AFK bishop on c8, so you can exchange you knight for a piece. Right?
For further clarification, after the bishop kills the knight, you can sack your only defending piece to open up the B file, and then take the c4 bishop. Not sure if it would work I'm but a lowely 1400 ish
That's why chess is an interesting game. If you saw only perfect moves at this rating, and no mistakes at all, chess wouldn't make any sense. We are all humans after all

You're accusing of cheating yet majority of the follow up moves were inaccuracies and mistakes by your opponent, wouldn't they all be best moves clearly illustrating an idea?
@ Bro, normal players don't make the best move each turn, it's often a mix which is exactly what we're seeing in this game. Looking at time management is also unreliable, I can think of many times where I paused to make a move for a multitude of random reasons like a roommate knocking on my bedroom door or the cat jumping on my desk. Just bad sportsmanship in my opinion. 8:19 I also thought this was funny because later in the analysis it turns out that this supposedly engine like move was actually an inaccuracy yet you soldier on with the accusation.
Wait, did Nelson edit the video to remove the part where he said that he voted for Trump because he is a Christian? Find that interesting… Both that he edited it and the reasoning behind his vote.
In this day and age, for the most part, when you tell someone who you vote for and it is different than your own, their perception of you changes. At the root of it I think he did it to keep people united with chess

The Halloween Gambit game was so fun to watch. Nice one!
The guy defended well until the end.
Somehow Nelson in "real" chess game is more fun to watch than rating climb, since he is playing challenging chess and teaching at the same time
Yes, most of 1200 rated players are too easy for him, he has almost double 1200 rating. But at his rating there are players who can actually challenge him
The downside is there are more cheaters at the higher level

the biggest clue that the first guy was cheating was a 2100 missing an obvious mate in 1.
