Kevin Durand is one of the greatest actors of our time. He’s like Walton Goggins, people don’t recognize him by name but when they see him they know they’re getting 100%!!!
@rob3547 I love him from Justified and of course he was awesome in Fallout. He's one of my favorite actors, top tier.oh I almost forgot about Vice Principal I think with Danny McBride.😂
Funny hearing him say "there's alot of indigenous people where I'm from, from the Ojibway tribe". As an Ojibway person, I still live in Thunder Bay Ont. Canada (where he's from).
Kevin and Bobby hanging would be a fun side show. Watching positive things Kevin experienced in his journey to help change Bobby for the better and hopefully find his sticky back!
Wow such an unexpectedly great guest. Genuinely great energy, personality, and chemistry between Kevin and the squad. Loved learning about how long Kevin and Bobby have known each other, how much work he's put into his career. Rooting for Kevin to get funding to make the hockey movie. It sounds great!
Every time I see Kevin Duran I realize the great person this actor is I wish him the best in all things this is someone that deserves all the success Hollywood has to offer.
It's great to see the people who were in Bobby's life when he started. The "where are they now" and reminiscing is priceless. Kevin is a man of many talents. When his voice changed, he completely tranformed. Totally sold me on the character.
Literally watched Abigail on Monday night and thought to myself why isn't Kevin Durand in more movies. I feel like he kept popping up in all these projects 10-15 years ago then not so much. He's physically imposing, has incredible comedic timing, and is completely comfortable taking on accents (not to mention he's a talented actor). Crazy that he's on the pod today. Also since we're going through people Bobby met early on in his career can we finally get Tony Cavalero on the pod? Bobby has mentioned being friends with him on numerous times and I think he would absolutely kill it.
Immediately love the vibes of this episode. Like classic Tigerbelly eps where they would just chat with old friends and vibe together. Also gotta love Kevin when he was on LOST.
And he sounds like a smoky Christopher Walken??? AND HE LISTENED TO FRANCIS MAGALONA WITH A FILIPINO BEST FRIEND / BROTHER? HE'S PERFECT FOR THIS POD AHHHHHH
Thank you Tigerbelly for showing the real Kevin.! I have so much love and respect for him after this podcast.! Im currently re watching every movie he is in.!
I’m ngl, it somewhat surprising for him to be such a nice guy.😂He’s like the bad guy in every movie, he been playing his role too good.He was villain in Locke and keys, walking tall, lost, reel steal, and probably more. One hell of a actor
As a Québécois and mega Tigerbelly fan it felt awesome to hear Kevin speak jouale on this podcast. Best representation ever. Can we have GSP and Celine next? 🥲
Tigerbelly should do a whole series of guests based on people who knew bobby early on in their careers. Its great to see Kevin get some success into his 50s, hes definitely one of these guys in movies and TV who you recognize but maybe don't know their name. He's definitely been typecast as a stupid henchman or goon type villain so its great to see him get roles with more depth.
He's one of my favorite actors, i only got excited and watched The Strain (for a season) cause i saw him and i was so happy, in Abigail too, he's so awesome
So much talent, charm, niceness (and toughness), greatness... in one guy. This man deserve much more and I hope he will be recognized in Hollywood as a real star. I love the friendship and respect between Bobby and Kevin
Wow Kevin seems like such a nice guy! so humble and genuine. So awesome to see him in a podcast where you get to see the real him. I've only seen him in movies, but man what a pleasure to see him vibe with Bobby and the crew. Great episode!!
I am sooo beyond excited today! I got my Nevernind Bad Friends merch and a ticket to see Bobby in SF in October!!! 🎉🙌🏻 Now for a new episode! Today is a good day guys!! I hope everyone is having a good day too!❤
Jokes aside, one of the preeminent character actors of our time. I am so happy this guy is on our Papaya radar. He’s awesome in Legion and Smokin’ Aces. I look forward to every scene he is in. He should be way more famous than he already is.
One of my favorite, underrated actors in the biz!! I remember watching him in Dark Angel WAAAY back in the day, and have loved whenever I see him pop up in something! He's SUCH a good character actor!!
I think the fact that Kevin is 6'6 tall, he got type casted to acting as roles that were the villain but hes totally the opposite in real life. If he was 3 inches shorter, he couldve been the main character more in roles.
Bobby has the coolest friends. I've always liked Kevin Durand, he's just one of those dudes I've always enjoyed in whatever I've seen him in. And as a Canadian it's dope to know he's from Thunder Bay.
Khlayla told that Adam Sandler party ice skate story about Bobby before that made it sound like an amazing majestic date and he skated very well but for some reason she tells this version to embarrass him
She plays around with bro tbh, and Bobby honestly just takes it (I think his trauma makes it harder to counter) really kinda sad to watch whenever she tries to embarrass him in front of someone with notoriety.
Yeah that's the main thing I recognize him from. I even remembered the name of his character, Martin Keamy (although, I thought it was Martin Keely). Good role, made quite an impression.
So, Bobby and Khalyla, when they were together, early on in TigerBelly, they recorded a song together. Could have been before the pod? I forget. The song was made up gibberish, off the top of their heads. No real language. Kind of like Sims lol. And from what I remember, they said they did it in one take. They loved it and used it as the Intro and outro music to the pod. I wish I knew the episode when they talked about it. But if I'm remembering correctly, that's the basic origin story of the TigerBelly theme. I could be leaving out parts, it's just what I remember. I just remember thinking like, that's so sweet and awesome.
Never imagined this guy on an a Podcast, so HAPPY. I respect his work and his longevity in Hollywood
Loved loved loved him in walking tall
this guy is a great character actor
Agreed great actor!
He’s old time friend of Bobby Lee
Kevin is so different than the characters he plays. He's funny, charming, and seems like an all around great person. No. 1 guest this year thus far.
Came to say THIS! He's a gem.
I always think of Wild hogs when I see him lol
Proof of hos talent as an actor! Love his characters.
What are you talking about? This episode was horribly boring
Thunder Bay Canada represent.
I love that Kevin offered bobby a family when he said he feels alone also when he invited him to meditate with him. Good man 👍🏾
🎯💯
😂😂😂😂
Bobby needs more of this guy in his life....he seems like a true friend.
💯🎯
Agreed!
But Bobby is a bad friend 😂
Kevin Durand is one of the greatest actors of our time. He’s like Walton Goggins, people don’t recognize him by name but when they see him they know they’re getting 100%!!!
Talkin bout Uncle Baby Billy!?! The righteous know…
@rob3547 I love him from Justified and of course he was awesome in Fallout. He's one of my favorite actors, top tier.oh I almost forgot about Vice Principal I think with Danny McBride.😂
I remember watching a tv show called The Strain and he was my absolute favorite in there
Kevin and Walton need a team up movie. Been a fan of Goggins since The Shield days.
You're right! I know his face but not his name🙌 he's definitely a great actor.
His positivity and laughter lifted up the entire crew for an hour. Great episode.
Man, I'm blown away by this guy. He usually scares me in his movies, but man, he's a lot of fun. Good job bringing Kevin in. 👏🏼
I LOATHE him in Stargate SG-1 . . . that's the mark of a good actor, he was great in that role.Turns out he's a really nice guy!
@@201_Gaming Exactly! And considering he's friends with Bobby. 😆
What a great get!!! Kevin seems like a great guy and blends in so naturally with everyone. Not a dull moment on this podcast.
Will forever remember him as Vasily Fet, he made the Strain a must watch
Loved him on The Strain.
absolutely!!
DUDE! i forgot about the strain, god he was fucking awesome!
To true.. best part of that show was him and the old man
dude i’m so glad someone else said this, he was amazing
the vibes in just the 5 minutes are impeccable
What 5 minutes
The Strain is so great...agreed. He was the best.
Funny hearing him say "there's alot of indigenous people where I'm from, from the Ojibway tribe". As an Ojibway person, I still live in Thunder Bay Ont. Canada (where he's from).
I've read there are alot of unsolved crimes against indigenous in the area

the ape improv scene was amazing i was dying lmao
Bro imagine they put that in the movie 😮😂😂 they have a restarded ape they do that do, and all the apes falling on the ground laughing. 😂😂
“SHUT THE GATES” 😂
This guy was every villain in my childhood movies
Smokin Aces was oddly funny with him 😂
Kevin and Bobby hanging would be a fun side show. Watching positive things Kevin experienced in his journey to help change Bobby for the better and hopefully find his sticky back!
They'd look great together as Kevin is like 6'3 or something haha
Correction - 6'6!
This has got to be the best episode in a while. Genuine vibes from Kevin and very insightful conversation about love and life
💯
I agree. previous episodes felt empty, and this one felt like it had real interactions and a long standing relationship.
@@박찬우-k5p5d yeah the podcast has been on a bad run. Not what it used to be, but this was solid.
it seems like he genuinely likes bobby and wants to be closer friends.
I got the chills when Kevin started to talk ape. That's dope...

Love this dude. Every time he’s in something he elevates it and makes it better.
It's great to see the people who were in Bobby's life when he started. The "where are they now" and reminiscing is priceless. Kevin is a man of many talents. When his voice changed, he completely tranformed. Totally sold me on the character.
Kevin Durand is severely underrated. Love this guy.
Especially with the warriors

Immediately love the vibes of this episode. Like classic Tigerbelly eps where they would just chat with old friends and vibe together. Also gotta love Kevin when he was on LOST.
Kevin Durand on Tigerbelly??? WHAT A WONDERFUL DAYYYY!!!
💯🎯
Kevin looks like his own villain arc
🤨
Uhm ok ?
Yes! His dad would come into the theatre in Thunder Bay and be so proud to tell us his son was in the movie he was seeing 🥰🇨🇦
Kevin made The Strain loved his char in it

Kevin Durand is a man of the world, who cares what his blood is. He’s everything lol
Whenever Bobby gets backed into a corner he starts talking in Morse code hahaha
Been watching this guy in movies for years and never would have thought he was such an energetically nice guy. Great Ep!!

Kevin is one of a small handful of amazing character actors with longevity in the industry. Love this dude. Dark Was The Night is a great hidden gem
Watched Abigail after gardening and it was so so good.
So much respect for Kevin. So talented and down to earth.
This podcast brings me joy😊
I've never seen an interview w Kevin but always loved every performance he's been in. Awesome to see him with Bobby

Any Canadians here? Kevin reminds me of and his voices sounds like Darren Dutchyshen from TSN.
Love from Newfoundland!! We love Kevin and the rest of the Merry Men here
I think the fact that Kevin is 6'6 tall, he got type casted to acting as roles that were the villain but hes totally the opposite in real life.

Such a great actor loved every character the dedication game is impressive . You make us Asians soooo proud .
This guy is great, I can see why he's always in stuff
I’m a huge podcast fan, just recently got into tiger belly. Despite anything related, Kevin Durand is one of the best podcast guests of all time.
This is my favorite Tigerbelly episode. Just two old friends talking and having a good time.
Lol he does resemble Elon Husk
The Cool Uncle Rick
Leon Husk
Maybe he can do a Elon movie of him 😊
I was just thinking that 😅
The good Elon
Kevin is a great man and a very beautiful heart. You guys are awesome, I hope you Bobby find what you want in life!
What a great dude. Nothing crazy, just a solid and interesting convo.
I so agree
Bobby. Kevin is a true friend. Stick to him
Old school belly vibes with this one ❤
Love this guy! Kills every role he gets. Mystery Alaska is one of my all time favs!

Yeah that's the main thing I recognize him from. I even remembered the name of his character, Martin Keamy (although, I thought it was Martin Keely). Good role, made quite an impression.
I'm a big fan of Kevin Durand's work. It's cool to see him on Tigerbelly. Shoutout to Kevin Christy.
omg it's Keemy!!!
Oh man I never knew I loved Kevin he’s so cool and chill
I'll never get over the intro/outro song and the story behind it. Love
I prefer the intro I never listen to the outro

I think Kevin Durand is what Elon musk would look like if he transformed into a super hero. He should totally do impressions of Elon it'd be hilarious
Kevin Durand is one of my favorite actors and the way he speaks different accents so well is crazy
Killer guest.
I've loved Durand in everything I've seen him in. Happy to see him in this light.
This is the most non white, white person I've ever seen
He’s one of the most memorable characters from Vikings and he was barely in it. Walking Tall is also the best movie of 2004. Hell yeah dude.
This guy looks like someone placed an aging curse on him.
Yeah, it's because he's older lol.
