Awesome post! I really appreciate your step by step approach and flow. Makes the activity much easier to understand. I was having trouble using the Cisco text book for the RiP commands.. but this made it much easier to do and understand. Thank you again :)
Could u please explain me the default-information originate ? why we use it , and why we used the default route (because rip is sufficient to access remote networks)
To generate a default route into RIP, use this command in router configuration mode. For detailed info, you may please wait for my future videos Thank you my friend Meriem Groune
Hi, If we are not assigned the IP Address, it will be pre-configured PCs in that activity. And thank you so much for your great support and sharing my dear friend...!!! If you wish to get any support, you can contact our team using our website.
Thank you for these videos. I really enjoy them. On this packet tracer, I got a request timed out when I tested the connection from the PC but still got 100% under the assessment tab. Any specific reason for this?
just figured this out. you need to assign a route to R2 with the command ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 serial 0/0/0 and ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 serial 0/0/1 and then R3 with ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 serial 0/0/1 He does not go over this for some reason. considering how much of a help this guy is im ok with an occasional mistake.
I was wondering why I wasn't able to ping the web server from PC2 and PC3, but your explanation makes a lot of sense. The reason he doesn't go over this issue is because the instructions in the PT file doesn't tell you to configure these routes on the other routers. @@martyprochainezo946
@@martyprochainezo946 Hi Alex, do you why he used the IP Address 192.168.3.10 for PC 2 in the ping command? I do know PC 2 is on network 192.168.3.0/24.
Hi This is used in all routing protocols to disable sending updates out from a specific interface. There won't be any problem if this not configured, but here the device switch also receive updates which create unwanted traffic. Thank you
