very impressive , the sound engine is top notch , Korg really did their homework on this one and its totally up to the user to dig into the plethora of sound it can produce. would go along brilliantly along with an analog synth.
I am very interested in this. I have a Wavestate MKII and I was going to purchase the MKII version of both the Opsix and Modwave but, now I have seen this I think I will just get this. Priced at £799, it's a it's a little more than I was initially willing to pay but not King Korg OTT price.
Fantastic, Surely this is a sort of upgrade to Minilogue XD .. if it emulates the best of an analog synth then why not love it... tons of possibilities..why moan while korg emulates analog best!
The Multi/Poly sounds very good. This 37 keyboard version is disappointing because it is poyphonic. In my opinion, Korg should have at least made a 49 and a 61 key version. then I would buy it! Korg may have forgotten over the years that a few keyboard players who can play with both hands still survived.
I don't know why they can't give us something a bit more true to the original somehow? We want more analog and less digital, otherwise I've no reason to switch from VSTs
Has a very cobbled up look to it , very busy cheap looking front panel, at least a third to expensive , should have analog filters for this price , next..
@@cnfuzz „Dual filter with classic filter models such as Mono / Poly, MS-20, Mini or Pro” That mean 8 filters per voice x 60 voices = 480 filters in total. So, do you really expect 480 analog filters at this price and in such a small case?
@ it can but you have to activate the hold button. Another strange thing is that you cannot put in individual notes like you can on other synths like OB6 and Korg Monologue. It uses that weird motion sequence thing
Yo siempre elegiría la versión rack o se , además para un teclado polifónico de solo 3 octavas , para mí no tiene mucho sentido en este caso, por eso creo que el rack de sobre mesa es lo suyo. Saludos 👍
@@ClaudeLaBoétie I downloaded the Owner's Manual. Mod FX effects in both units are identical, with Multi/Poly having 2 more: CX-3 Leslie and Orange PhaseV2. You loose all the Modwave samples, such as the DW800. Waveshaping on Multi/Poly looks remarkably similar to some Modwave oscillator settings. Filters are also the same, M/P loosing MS-20 and Polysix filters compared to Modwave. I was a bit shocked t.b.h. Big question, if mainly the oscillators are different, is this significant?
What wasn't mentioned is each layer has 2 filters which means a lot for sound design
Lots of my presets in there ❤
hope korg makes a vst out of this, like they did with their previous digital synths

Subtractive synths are saturating the market
So they built a chassis and put the last 6 Korg synths on it
What is UP with this fuckin company

I hope they make a module version , ill ge4t one of those .

This is magnificent….versatility and size is bang on! Good choice for my first KORG!
Me 2
Stop it Korg! Seems like the last dozen things I own are all Korg

Just plug in a midi keyboard or connect one of your other synths..
They probably will in a while - they did with the Wavestate and Opsix.

Having watched as much as I can find about the Korg Multi Poly I have, eventually, succumb and. Preordered one. Kind regards Mick🇦🇺
Love it. wish an SE Platinum version was released
Just give us a MonoPoly reissue please !
Behringer already did and it’s based
Just buy the Behringer, they care more about what people actually want than Korg.
@@hostnik777spicy, based, and true
The sequencer any good?
Can the sequences loop with out keeping the keys pressed ?
That was also my question

looks like a wavestate mixed with the modwave
I thought that, or 2 Modwaves in the same box. Obviously it's not, as Korg wouldn't do that.
@@TuppenceHapeny A ModOpWave (Modwave+Opsix+Wavestate) would be great though ;)

I have the Wavestate and the Opsix....this is a bit pricey compared to what I payed for them....impressive though
Is it another raspberry pi in a fancy box?
$899
only $900.
If it can load other emulations like the dw8000 and poly 800 and others then it's of interest to me.
Terrible
Will it be available WORLDWIDE? I still can't find a place to buy...😮
I heard they'll start selling it worldwide around December
