This is some of the most realistic advice I’ve come across for preparing to take on the role of CD. No nonsense, straight forward and poignant. Exactly what I was looking for - I’d love to see all of these 9 skills broken down into more detail like you mentioned, with a bit more insight into the specifics of how you approach each. Also, at about 20mins you rattled off a bunch of awesome focus points around creating the right environment for creative work to happen effectively, I would be very interested to hear your thoughts / specific examples /ideas on how to nail down and develop all of those pieces individually and collectively as well. Thanks, Adam! Just subscribed. Looking forward to more!
I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can give me!
OMG, the retention strategy... horrible. I've worked under Sr Designers that had horrible design skills, but they got promoted because they made the most noise and they were buddy buddy with upper management.
Thank you so much for this video, I was thinking I can get a job for this kind of position and after watching this I realized I still have a looot to learn, thank you so much, new subscriber.
Hi Adam, very nice & helpful video you shared! Can you do an episode to explain the difference of being a CD in an agency and a start up? What are the differences and what are the same? Thanks!
Hello thank you for this awesome video! What is the number 1 hard skill to learn to become a creative director in music ? If you work for an artist? Graphic design, photography, video editing ?
I haven't finished the video, but I think craft matters because I wouldn't take direction from a CD if I think I'm better than them at execution or ideation.
Never had enough time to formulate it all in one place for my younger creative colleagues. Thank you. 😎👌🏻
damn. this hit me hard. Now i know why my team is falling apart... it's me all along. Thanks for this great content
