- Pondicherry or Puducherry is one of the best destinations to travel and explore throughout the year. A road trip from Bangalore to Pondicherry will be unforgettable owing to the beautiful sites and sceneries on the way. There are 3 routes to reach Pondicherry and we chose the most scenic one. The distance is 360 kms. Bangalore is well-connected to Pondicherry by road, rail and airways. You can choose either to take NH77 or NH75, both the routes take somewhere between 6 hrs 30 mins to 7 hrs. Though a bit longer, we recommend you to take NH75 as the road conditions are very good.
You will take the following route - Bangalore - Hosur - Krishnagiri - Vellore - Arcot - Cheyyar - Vandavasi - Tindivanam - Pondicherry.
Although a year round destination, it is recommended to visit Pondicherry between the months of Oct and Mar. With a typically warm climate, visiting Pondicherry across different months have its own perks. Oct to Feb is ideal for beach binging, adventure sports and outdoor activities.

Hey buddy nice video but never turn on hazard light while rain or fog reason if you are overtaking or chaging lane it will difficult for cars behind you to judge which way you are going

This route s not recommended coz its ll take 60 kms long so rather than that u shd ve taken NH 77 ( 288 kms ) - Krishnagiri - Uthangarai - Tiruvannamalai - Gingee - Tindivanam - Pondy route which road condition is upgraded two lane but buttery smooth for driving & surrounding natures r quite beautiful ! If u have time meanwhile u can visit Arunachala Temple & Gingee fort in between Krishnagiri - Tindivanam ( Very famous Shiva Temple where Shiva n Agni form ).

You are right. Else they'd have taken the Krishnagiri - Vellore - Thindivanam - Pondy. That's also nice.
But some people from Bangalore take Kancheepuram route following advice from their Bangalore friends since Pondicherry -Thiruvannamalai - Krishnagiri - stretch was terrible till June or August of 2023.
