To anyone doing bees and needs a lot of Draconic dust, the best was is to use the create mixer. It’s a bit of a hassle to get it setup but the normal centrifuges has a 30% chance whiles the mixer has a 70% chance
Some things not touched on here, bees from this mod have multiple stats. afaik, the simulation upgrade will only simulate the bee's default behavior based on their stats. So a Diurnal bee only produces combs during the day, a bee with no weather resistance won't produce during rain/storms, and the productivity trait affects how much their base amount of combs produced is. By leashing a bee to a fence post, they can be trained to be nocturnal, and then metaturnal to work fulltime. Note that during the conversion, the bee will slowly take damage over time. You can heal them with honey treats manually or set up some kind of aoe healing effect from the multiple available in the modpack. Also having them leashed during rain and then storms will also give them weather resistance. Their hostility (don't remember the trait name right now) only matters when they're outside the simulated hive, so I ignore that one. Same for the toughness-whatever trait. The only bees with Very High productivity are the little Kamikazbees that spawn from the beehive helmet (when you're attacked while wearing it) that the mod lets you craft. Cage them and squish them. Once you have enough genes to give to some other bees, you can fill a hive with pokey-pokey gene samplers and maxed trait bees to generate additional gene samples you then give to your most important bees. This is how you could speed up your draconic and stellarite bees even further, among all others.
To add on to this, the Nether is a great place to house your bees since it is technically eternal day and never storms/rains. If your bee is nocturnal it will still produce. So the only thing you'd want to get is the Very High trait, if you want to min-max, but i personally am fine with just the high trait; its usually fast enough.
you can completely automate bee squishing. bees that are pushed into a already activated piston will also be squished. you can just auto deploy them with a router and then push them into a piston with a mob fan. another router to pickup the material and voila automated be squishing.
Potentially useful information: afaik block upgrade for hive doesn't give you equvalent amount of combs in compacted way. It gives you the same amount of block as you would get combs. So if you normally get X honeycombs per minute, with block upgrade you would get X honeycomb blocks per minute (without productivity udpgrades). Also heated centrifuge can process honeycomb blocks, so you don't even have to "uncraft" them. Also also all productive bees combs are technically one item with different nbt data, so it should be possible - at least with AE, not sure about RS - to send all of them to centrifuge with single exporter set to export one of them.
Don't think I've ever heard anyone say the word bee or be so many times in such a short span of time😂. Loved the video. Productive bees is one of my favourite mods and seeing you explain it so simply was amazing
For the traders you could have use a grimoire of the lost merchant guild. That would have been far easier than trading, note you need to have the trader put in the world and it has a small cool down per trader level
@ChosenArchitect i haven't seen anyone figure this out, but watching you work with the rf builder i wanted to say i found if you don't turn off the overlay till after you start the machine it won't change your offset or size settings...
If you keep the piston engaged and have the 3 surrounding blocks just place the bee where at the edge of the piston head and one of the side blocks it will kill the bee instantly without having to reengage the piston everytime and then sometimes flying away. Also you can’t squish baby bees
When you get to Warden Souls, I recommend making a nether star farm with hostile neural networks, sped up of course. You’re gonna need a ton of stars, and antimatter alone will be slow
There's already been tests done regarding this, but if you don't wanna see the in depth research then long story short. Bees produce more by a good margin if we take resource generated/block into consideration. MA easier to start up, Bees harder but produce more.
You've sold me on the skyblock from ars also it is he-ma-ta-fay-ge-ous which breakes down to blood eater or as i would have put it vampiric. i don't blame ya tho, there are to many words I know I'll butcher I just happened to know of this one 😅
Haven’t gotten into bees at all yet. Had an issue when trying to update the mod pack this morning. Update kept failing on me and when I went back into the game Mine Colonies was gone. Guess I will be free from weekly pirate attacks. Lol
31:04 In all seriousness, I plan on making a mod where you can auto-fill and auto-use TIAB. Thing is, auto-users can't be accelerated, and the auto-fillers are multiblocks that a) can't be accelerated (not even with the Watch Of Flowing Time), b) are huge (16-block cube, all of which must be in the same chunk), and c) uses TIAB and/or WOFT and/or Singularities (AE2 Edition, Not All Of Which Are Entangled) in almost all of the blocks. You have been warned.
Hey, first of all i love your videos. Maybe someone of your community can help me, im searching for a modpack that is relatively easy to play with my gf. She is pretty new to minecraft and i dont want to grind "classic" minecraft over and over again, if someone can recommend a pack it would be much appreciated :D
Yo how did you get skyweave to work, it wont work with the shaders in tha pack, i tried ut since i sww you do it but its not working, when i turn off shaders it works
Bro has 51 hours and he’s only 16 minutes in this video and that’s not even counting the first few episodes that’s insane how much work he puts on these even if he does go afk

what mixer? cant find any recipe in JEI

Oh hey, I'm getting a bit of deja vu from last episode's intro.
Same here lol, I was looking around trying to figure out if I was watching the correct episode
True haha 😅, I wonder what the music the intro is?
He used the botania intro xD and then moved right into bees
What erks me are these Minecraft TH-camrs who feel the need to put on these 'animated' voices... just no need. Do they think we are munted!

VERY well said and concise. Great addendum for this episode, imo.

It is possible with both if you use a tag to export them.
How have I not discovered the sky weave yet that’s so awesome!
The bee house is beeautiful

For the bee hives craft the upgrade that turns it into blocks I believe you get a lot more when it gets centrifuged
This Bee Mod maybee up there. I like the grind of it compared to the Bees in E6, but those bees seemed ez pz.
I thought this was gonna be a wholesome episode about bees and then I just hear "and then we're gonna squish the bee"

i just started bees yesterday so this is perfect💜

Can solar neutron activator work with the skyweave ?
we need another all the mods to the sky.
Yesss
We really do
I disagree, he just did volcano allthemods, and to the sky 8 is not that different from 7 which he also did

IMHO, in ATM9 open field + lillypads + scythe > bees.

We need someone to count how many "bee" puns there are in this video
Hey chosen, how about you decorate your base with the minecolony mod with the steampunk theme, bet you already have all the resources
Hey Chosen, I have a question. Those skyweave blocks.... could you use them to trick devices and/or crops that need direct line of sight to the sky?
Thx
I was wondering, Can you bottle the bees and have the drygmys farm them for resources?
If i'm not mistaken, drygmys farm mob drops. Bees not drops combs, when die. So, it will not work.
@@MariusShimkus Makes sense. Thank you.
How do I get xp from experience bee??

Hey Chosen can u add the mod Dark Mod Everywhere so that ur inventory is in dark mode so it is more pleasing to the eye

how do you transfer so fast stacks from one inv to another ?
