Hi! For me, Spelman was one of the best decisions I made. It is definitely worth the investment. However, I do not encourage putting yourself in a major financial strain. Please start looking at outside scholarships NOW! While Spelman does award scholarships, it is competitive. BUT, it is NOT impossible. I was able to support my college finances with outside and institutional scholarships. Keep going and keep applying :). Do not let thw no's deter you. It will eventually lead to a better yes. Spelman is a special place, and it is an experience like no other. I am forever grateful that God gave me this opportunity.
