Removed having betrayed the sacred trust placed in them as servants of God and servant leaders of His people. We are told to judge those within. To forgive and to restore following genuine repentance being demonstrated. They have forfeited their position and authority and are to be rebuked before all. The greater issue than forgiveness is trust. “The sexually immoral (and other s) shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
A) He is actually completely ignorant of what happened. B) He's aware and embracing the evil to protect a predator. I think his claim of being a prophet effectively negates option A. (Well, google prophet.)
