Thanks for the video, lived in Great Falls, haven't been on 10th ave for 45 yrs! You went right by where the old Mitchell Pool used to be. You took me back, loved it!
just visited Great Falls ...beside the beautiful scenery ..the people of great falls montana were wonderful and polite during my 3 weeks stay there. someone who live in New Jersey for long time ...Montana is great wild wild west and it is awesome there. Hopefully it will stay that way.
Thanks for the video! I was stationed there 1976-79, but only saw a few things I recognized. The old Milwaukee Railroad depot and the turn off 10th Ave towards the base. I was in a band that played most of the clubs in town and Black Eagle. Good times back then. By the way, as someone who has been a Harley rider since the 1960's, I appreciated your attention to traffic and riding style.
Malmstrom missile maintenance 1973 to 85, Vandenberg until 91 then back to Montana and retired in 96. Hoping to get my act together and get more road videos posted soon.
This was awesome. I Miss Great Falls. I grew up there in the 80s and 90s. I want to go back so bad. do you plan on doing any other cruising videos like this? Thanks!!!
I sure hope so. Been upgrading My Precious. Took a ride to Wichita and back (first ride out of state). Trying to edit and produce a quality video is a lot more difficult than I thought. But I'll get there
Wish you would have said what street you were on and described what section of great falls you were in. Maybe say what buildings you drove by. I left great falls when I was discharged from the Air Force in 1975. Had great times there but did not recognize one thing in your video. Nice bike though!
1977 was working construction. I got a anchoring to get in motorcycle so in Great Falls there was only one dealer it was out there by monster Air Force Base off 10th Ave., Route one and carried pretty much all the motorcycle brands so I bought a new motorcycle that evening and drove it around 180 miles in through the city and the next day we decided to take a road trip up to glacier national Park why did I get sunburnt? I don't think I ever got it so bad as I did on that trip that summer we drove from Great Falls all the way up to Conrad, I just ran out of fuel just enough to build the coast into the Conico made it to the pumps without having to push trip was starting out great. We took our shirts off and tied them around our waist big mistake. I ended up in Columbia Falls burnt the gal. There was nice enough to fill up the hot tub with ice cubes.
You using an external mic on your camera? Your voice picks up nicely. I’m also in great falls, been thinks of doing some riding videos as well just trying to get my setup figured out.
Pink panda mic. I used the same setup as "Her Two Wheels" and "Blockhead". My system started causing some problems so I'm trying out a new process. Good luck. Stay safe and I'll see you around Great Falls.
@@bigskyhdrider4815 nice, I’ve been debating that pink panda mic or maybe going with an external audio recorder and syncing the audio in editing. Just not sure if I want all the extra editing lol.
As a Montanan, I just wanted to say thank you for making this video and this is the exact place I see every day ❤

Nice ride dude, great video! I went to Great falls a long time ago, very warm and clean city.

Thanks for the feedback. I was traveling on 10th Ave South. I arrived at Malmstrom Dec. 1973. Montana has agreed with me.

Glad you liked it. Hoping for new videos to be posted soon. Been lots of snow and cold in Montana. I'm ready to ride as soon as ice is gone.
