An interesting concept here - thanks for the excellent video. Very creative you are with the whole concept. 'Want Ads' is a forgotten gem. I think 1972, 1977, 1979, 1983 ('Time' a huge favourite of mine), 1984 (best year musically), 1985, 1987, 1988 (worth it for Sam and George) the best Top 5s. Shocks me Sam Fox had some hits there! I guess they like the British busty blonde look there.
Since you pretty much covered every significant day in the year, can you do one for 4/20? I 'd like to hear what Americans where groovin' to while they were getting high.
What TV show is that Chuck Mangione song from? I know I've heard it before...probably from some show that's now, or used to being syndication, or maybe from some movie? Never mind...it was in the 1990 Steven Seagal film "Hard To Kill"... he's listening to it in his car but then switches to the audio tape from his surveillance the night he gets gunned down...definitely one of his better films from that decade.
