Roland know how to speak English, he uses a translator because he is not very comfortable to speak with all the judges and he don't have experience how to talk with the Americans, this is his first time in America ! He don't want to feel embarrassed ,so it's good edia to have a back up translator! I'm so proud of Roland A. that he speak in English about his humble beginnings,, he said only see in his cell phone, that it his Big Dream To Be In American Got Talent ,To Sing 👍 and he pronounced the English Song very well ! He said he Graduate in High School ,in some interviews! So he knows how to speak English, just needs practice ! Like him singing Karaoke in the neighborhood ! So guys don't judge that he don't know how to speak English, just because he uses a translator, Roland is not comfortable face the challenge of speaking English, but he can face the challenge of Singing , because it is his gift from God 🙏 And he did a great job 👍 Prayers sent to you Roland make our Country Philippines proud ! Wow!! Impressive!! Amazing bravado raspy soulful voice, a big song to tackle in a stellar performance for not such a big young man. He has no professional vocal couch but did an amazing performing. Did you notice he stepped behind his monitors? He probably couldn't hear himself at that point but he nailed it. Muscle memory but for notes. Singing karaoke for years will do that.
He's not just singing in karaoke but he is a truly performer and a vocalist in the band . He joined also in tawag ng tanghalan . And he did performed also in CNN and wish 107.5.and was invited to Ellen Show 8 years ago kaya lng hindi natuloy nagkaroon ata ng visa problem dati ng kilala Yan sa galing kumanta ... Kya bihasa na rin xa as singer /performer.
I hope he gonna make it to the finals,i dont want to expect him to win bcos we know thats agt but if its God's will then nothing is impossible 😊 Still im glad that he try to audition here ..and make it
