- On this video I show how to install the Billet aluminum Thumb throttle plus we look at the STV Motorsports fuel cap I got for the sportsman. I took the Thumb throttle back off because it has a lil play in it also the color just not matching like new fuel cap does so will be ordering another one eventually. Like comment and subscribe 😎 ALSO video just shut off there at the end because I was getting a call on the phone but I figured you all got the just of it

Dirt ObseXXion thanks chad I thought so too I want to get a red paint marker also for the plastic Polaris , I saw a guy on here do his in a Blue color look good. Hey did you ever upgrade your front diff pinion plate couldn’t remember if I had asked you that. I haven’t yet but on the sportsman forum there always talking about it
@@ajjacobs1338 I have not, I actually blew my front diff at Hatfield McCoy but it didn't go at the pinion plate.. its still covered by warranty so the dealership is replacing, I'm not sure exactly what happened yet...
Dirt ObseXXion oh ok well let me know. The more us polaris guys can find out the better off we will be. But one thing is certain all brands have their problems. I’m hoping one day to ride with DOXX crew

My lever came with a shorter machine screw to enable pulling the lever up flush.

Hello Aj. Im picking one of these up on Monday only because my 2012 800 blew up on me last Saturday loved that machine.....and like to ask you a question what the difference between your sp and the primum model's 850,s...i got a brand new salesman today and he's young and learning yet ....but watching your videos I don't see a difference in the machine's iv rode all my life also but I didn't ask some questions that i should had because the eye candy of the machine had my mind just like hell ya lol..so maybe u can tell me the difference if any in them....

Edward Burrell great question sir and from what I can tell the difference in the sp and premium is the premium comes with the winch and the front and rear bumper. My sp didn’t come with nothing but the power steering and automotive paint and aluminum wheels , the premium however comes with all that plus the winch and bumpers. I believe that’s what I’ve seen at our dealership. Hi Mark first and foremost thanks for watching the video and I’m not sure if they do on the cable throttles but I will say this I took this thing back off cause it had too much play in it plus a gap that I couldn’t seem to get right.

I have the same isssue with this on my sportsman 570, I have a hard time getting it flush and if I do get it flush. It had play on the throttle just like yours.... looks great but it’s annoying compared to oem...
Absolutely they look good just a lil annoying. I think I’m going to leave the one on the Canam alone for now I know unless something just jumps out at me. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯

The cable coming out of the thumb throttle box turn it about three turns outward and it'll tighten that up

Does the throttle work good ?
World Star yes it worked fine no issues but I just felt like it had too much play in it so took it back off until I find a better one , to be honest it was really just the fact it was red that I liked it but oh well. Thanks for watching
AJ Jacobs thanks ... but don’t the stock throttles have a lil play as well ?
World Star yes they do this one just seemed to have a lil too much and with it not flushing up like the stock just really thought it would be best to remove it after all it was more of a aesthetic anyway

@@mikezelinsky466 yep want you to spend that money. Anyway the billet aluminum will last so much longer prob never buy another one unless you just wanted to change the color lol 😂
