Sir i m bsc graduated in 2024 year ...in marks % awarded by university option...do i have to fill the combind marks or 1st+2nd+3rd year...or simply 3rd marks
You need to fill out the whole final graduation grade you get in your graduation certificate. This grade is usually the combined marks of all the years.
Sir i completed my 12th in 2021 that's COVID batch...we got the report card of 12th but we do not had any exam...now do i have to fill the % of 12th or simply click on the promoted option.. please help me out with this
If you have marks mentioned with the percentage, you can fill that. If you don't have any marks or percentage you can click on the promoted without marks option. This option was mainly created for the students whose colleges only gave the pass or fail option without any marks in their report card.
For CBSE, For maximum marks you can just add all the maximum marks different subjects has and for your individual marks you can just use the grade point you get and convert into the percentage. Usually in CBSE A1 is 10, A2 is 9, A3 is 8 and so on. Percentage=( your grade point / maximum grade point)*100 With percentage you can get your marks individually. Get the total marks and you can use that in the CAT form. Usually for CBSE the percentage is given by multiplying your final CGPA by 9.5. You can use that for your final percentage. If you need any further confirmation you can reach out to CAT help desk. All the best.
What about the lockdown batch who completed graduation this year...like in my case my undergrad should have started in 2020...but owing to lockdown it started in 2021 and 1st year was completed in a marathon fashion to cover up the delay...so in such cases what should we put as out Month/Year of course commencement date???
You can mention the same as it is mentioned on your graduation certificate. This ensures that there won't be any discrepancies regarding the timings during the interview process. Even if it is long time you can easily explain in the interview about the circumstances about the lock down. Hope this helps.

Hi, Usually you need to definitely submit your NC OBC certificate form in the application right now, for it to be considered. But you can try to reach out to the CAT help desk immediately, and ask them for confirmation about submitting the Undertaking form. All the best.
Yes, you can upload them. CAT usually needs the certificate from a competent authority, so if yours meets the format, you can definitely go ahead and upload them. If you need further confirmation, you can reach out to CAT help desk. All the best.

Sir i have completed my 3 year graduation in may 2024 but i have a backlog in 5th semester whose exam will be in December 2024 so 1) what duration of course should i choose 2) Semester and completion of course?? Please sir reply
In the duration of degree, you should choose the number of years the course usually takes, in your case, 3 years. In the nest box, you will be asked the time of completion of the degree for you, there you should mention the time at which you completed. In your situation, you still haven't technically finished your graduation, so you can give the final year option and give your last semester marks in the marks bracket. You can then take the CAT exam and then at the time of interview submit your graduating documents. All the best.

Sir i completed my 10th from icse board and i had total 10 subjects. In the marksheet there are 2 types of marks that are total marks and percentage marks because i had subjects which were combined for example Physics Chemistry and Biology came under Science subject. So in total marks all 10 subject marks are individually given but in percentage marks 6 subjects marks are given so which marks should i consider for cat form?
In ICSE format, the total marks are 600, and you will get the total marks where they combine all subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology for science and history and geography for social. Just take the marks you got for overall 600 and find the percentage marks based on that. You can add the percentage marks((Your marks/600 )*100) and the overall marks you got (for 600) in the CAT application.
I had a doubt while registering for CAT 2024.I had filled the form according to my class 12th marksheet which had combined total of both 11th and 12th marks. But only now I realized it required only 12th marks. Is it acceptable or will there be an opportunity to correct it ?
You need to mention the final marks provided by your 12th board in the CAT application. This final grade is your intermediate grade, which is inclusive of 11th and 12th. You have filled out the form correctly. There is no need to change anything.
Hi, a common formula used to convert your SGPA to a percentage is multiplying it by 10. For the CGPA you can use (CGPA/Total CGPA )*100 .You can check your college guidelines on how to convert your SGPA to relevant percentage and if there aren't any, you can just use the above mentioned formula and proceed forward. During the interview process you can just show the relevant documents. If you need further confirmation we suggest you to reach out to CAT help desk. All the best.
You can convert CGPA to percentage by multiplying by 9.5 You can follow the guidelines mentioned by your institution and if they didn't provide any you can follow the above formula.

You can't change it after submitting the form. In the CAT correction window, you can only change photo and signature, so we suggest you ignore it and focus on doing well in the CAT exam. When you get an interview call, you can just provide the right documents and tell about the mistake. Since it is similar, there won't be any problems.
If you need further confirmation, you can visit the CAT help desk
@@CrackuInexam they told me to fill the form again.. what should I do?
You can create a new application if you want. Make sure to use a new phone number and a new email ID for the new application.

Hi ,
I complete my under drad on aug 2020 but it was suppose to end on may 2020 due to covid it got lingered.
My work exp started on 17th june 2020.
It is saying work exp can’t be before college completion. What should i do .
Pls help
Hi, CAT Application considers only work experience after your graduation. Since you have finished your graduation in 2020, you will have 3+ years of work experience, which will give you full points for the work experience section. You can just mention starting date of your work ex as the date after your graduation. It won't be a problem. You can just provide the documents at the time of interview. For further confirmation you can reach out to CAT Help desk. All the best.
Sir, those who belong to the COVID batch, who didn't give their 12th boards, do they have to click on "Passed and Promoted" and cannot enter their %?
Yes, For the covid batch you need to enter passed and promoted and can't enter the percentile if you choose that option.
@@CrackuInexam but sir we did receive the report Cards. Can't we enter the marks mentioned there? And it's not mentioned in the guidelines regarding the same
If you have the marks for then, you can definitely enter those. This is for those institutes or boards who have only pass or fail as the option. If your institute provided marks you can go ahead and enter those.
@@CrackuInexam Thank you
Sir usme mension hai ki agar aap COVID 19 me pass ho gaye ho to aap ka form reject Kiya jayega ye humko tb bataya cat ne jab hamne payment kar liye aur receipt proof me mension hai aur sir hum covid19 me pass hua hai 12th to abhi kya kare
Hi, assuming you passed your 12 in the years 2020 and 2021, in the CAT application you will have the option Promotion or pass with out marks.
(If you have completed your HSC/12th/Equivalent/Diploma Course in the year 2020/2021 and haven’t received results or have been promoted/passed without marks, then you can mark the flag ‘Promotion/Pass without Marks’ to proceed further with the application form. * Only valid for candidates passing out in 2020/2021*)
The above bracket words are mentioned in the CAT registration guide. So you can follow the same.
I finished my 12th in COVID 2021 . So in from what should I fill aggregate or promotional in form...
Hi, if you have aggregate marks, you can fill them in, but if you don't have them, you can use promotional. Many institutes during the pandemic did not conduct many exams and just gave promotional marks, so in your case, you should fill them in with promotional marks.
All the best.
Is it mobile no candidate is required or fathers mobile no can be put
You need to provide your mobile number so that any messages will be directly received to you. There is an additional option for emergency contact where you can provide your father's number.
Sir i have Central EWS Certificate made from my city collector office in PDF form, it has digital sign from Tehsildar so is it valid to upload in CAT 2024? I didn't upload the one mentioned on cat website in which u have to physically write your name and get sign, i have Original central EWS
You can use the original one. That's not a problem. Try to get a physical one at the time of interview which you can use for verification.

Hello sir I'm in my 5th semester, In my college they're giving only SGPA but in CAT application they asking marks% how should i fill that ?
Hi, a common formula used to convert your SGPA to a percentage is multiplying it by 10. For the CGPA you can use (CGPA/Total CGPA )*100 .You can check your college guidelines on how to convert your SGPA to relevant percentage and if there aren't any, you can just use the above mentioned formula and proceed forward. During the interview process you can just show the relevant documents. If you need further confirmation we suggest you to reach out to CAT help desk.
All the best.
What I fill if the result show cgpa in marks sheet
You can convert CGPA to percentage by multiplying by 9.5 You can follow the guidelines mentioned by your institution and if they didn't provide any you can follow the above formula.
NC OBC ka certificate jo reference mein diya he vahi fill up karna he ki , ki jo state hame deti he vo,
Hi, Usually, you need to provide the NC-OBC certificate provided by the central level for your CAT application process.
I couldn't change my photographs in the form also I haven't submitted yet neither do i have done my payment... But it's not changing now how can i do it
CAT correction window's date is September 25. In that window, you can change your photograph, signature, and test centres. You can try on that date to change your photograph. All the best.
You can change if you have not done the payment
I have obc certificate dated on 10-01-23. Can it be used?
Yes, it should be valid at the time of your application. So it can be used.
But we suggest you, get a new one for the time of your interview process to avoid any discrepancies.
I am an nc-obc , in the certificate issue date, we have input non-creamy layer certificate issue date or permanent caste, as the caste number and caste serial number is mentioned on both.
Hi, you can mention the non-creamy layer certificate issue date. CAT asks for an NC-OBC certificate, so you can go ahead with that one.

If i am student.. How I fill work experience page
For students, you can click the final year option in graduation marks. You won't need to fill out the work experience section. You can skip it.
But certificate fill kaha krni hai
Hi, In the registration process itself, there is a portal where you can file your certificates soft copy. All the best.
I submitted my CAT application but didn't self-attest the caste certificate. I just uploaded a scanned copy of the original caste certificate. Will this cause my application to be rejected? What should I do?
No, your application would not be rejected. But we suggest that you get the proper caste reservation certificates with you and try to contact CAT Help desk for further confirmation.

How to get the percentage out of sgpa?
For SGPA you can just divide your SGPA by the maximum possible SGPA and multiply it with 100. It gives the SGPA in percentage. Typically, if you have 8.2 as your SGPA you will get 82% marks. Hope this helps.
I finished my College Final year in 2022 but Cleared my Backlogs & got my Certificate in 2023. What should I enter in Year of Completion !?
You should enter 2023 as the year of completion in your application. The completion year refers to when you officially received your degree or certificate, not just when you finished your coursework. Since you cleared your backlogs and received your certificate in 2023, that is the appropriate year to list.
