Should I cluster my data?

Recently implemented attribute clustering on a 16 million row sales order table by date, and took one of our common query patterns from 10 seconds down to 5.

Lots of clustering is unnecessary by a Index scan if they are covering for those lists.

Index scans can still be incredibly slow for unclustered data
