Manly, my beautiful home town. Born, raised and lived there for the first 25 years of my life . . . and then I moved to England. Manly I love you . . you will always be in my blood and my heart.
More than some . . . a great abundance of beautiful memories! Childhood friends, lazy days on the beach . . well, most days on the beach as I only lived a two minute walk! And on days like this where it is wet and cold in Dorset, I think about Manly more than ever. So yes, thank you so much, for this amazing walk down memory lane. You've made an old girl's Saturday a day to treasure and remember.
Loved it. Amazing how the time goes by. I actually finished the whole walk. I don't catch myself checking the time like I do without these video. Thank you for making these. ~Kathy/NW Florida
Great Vid mate. I spent a Sunday at Manly back in Jan 2015. I will add this to my collection of treadmill videos to warm me up on a cold Canadian winter day !!
I used this the other day at the gym when we had our first (way too early) snowfall this year. Felt great to be hangin' out with the Aussies at Manly instead of shivering in the snow. Only thing missing was a nice cold Carlton Draught at the ferry pub while waiting for the boat back !. By the way, did you follow up on my suggested walk from Bondi to Coogee ? If you post a video of that you will be my all time hero !!
Oh I have a Bondi Beach video up my sleeve which I will release next month. It's a 2 hour train ride both ways from Wollongong to Bondi, so I only managed to get video up and down the pavilion, and then the first few minutes of the start of the walk to Coogee. I'm planning to head back there soon to get the rest :)
Just such an uplifting walk, from the little cafe by the rocks to the little girl in a towel as big as she is, with the sounds of sea and snatches of conversation (and rap music!). Like really being here. Thank you! (Get a Kofi account and I’ll buy you a coffee!)
