You are so right. God's grace is more than enough. I dony know where I would be without Him. It breaks my heart that people have tried to take Him out of everything, but yet, He's the first person they call on, when things go wrong. This is an amazing song, that gets you thinking about the consequences of your actions and how it affects others.
We were fortunate when it came time for Daddy (husband's Dad) to stop driving, his doctor told us to not say anything to him, that he would be the "bad guy". It was such a blessing to us!! (Daddy had alzheimers.) 😢
I'm sorry Ronda, my papaws got Parkinson disease, in little bit of dementia, n falls asleep very easy he got blood sugar problems, makes me feel guilty in ways. Love y'all Ronda take care
My grandma was as healthy as one could be at her age ( she had asthma that wasn't bad but on occasion she needed an inhaler) .. my grandpa died and she ended up moving in with my aunt's and I watched her go from this strong independent woman to this feeble run down old lady ... They took her freedom away because they felt she wasn't capable ...Everytime she was with me she did what ever she wanted she full access to my car even ...and everyone wondered why. She looked so happy and healthy with me.... Never ever take away an older persons freedom to be independent untill you absolutely have to... My grandma. Went down hill fast all because she was no longer allowed to do things she once enjoyed simply because everyone said she was old and could get hurt :(
My grandma survived losing her husband, raising 3 kids alone and living alone with asthma. She was in the hospital after a bad bout. The day before she was getting out of the hospital my uncle told her he'd sold her trailer. He told her she'd have to live with a sister-in-law she couldn't stand or go into a nursing home. She died that night and I never forgave him.
@@toodlescae very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately within the last few years, we had to take my grandmother’s car, but the one thing that will never happen is her going into a nursing home! The family is taking care of her, taking her shopping. Letting her get her own food and other stuff she needs. She goes for walks. Will never take away her freedom. But we did not take the car until we absolutely had to. Again. Very sad your uncle did that and my heart and prayers go out to u for your loss.
@@d1001 thank you. I know it was years ago but I think it hit me so hard and still bothers me is because I was 12 at the time. My grandma was also the one person I was always closest to.
My great grandmother was 95 and was still driving. Heck she was going on cruises at 96. She lived a full awesome life and died at 100. I wanna be like her
Love, love, love your reaction to this great song Billy! I always love your honest reactions to songs, especially to the story-telling in country music. And I'm raising my hand on the recommendation to Joe Nichols, The Impossible. You'll love it. And to God be the glory!
The message of it being God who gave up got me hard too! I owe God my life because it was also Him that helped me still be here. I live your openness about your faith and share it with us all. Love you, Billy.... from Washington State.
The old man part makes me ball i live with my grandparents and they keep themselves busy so they dont go downhill because they know if they sit down and do nothing they will die my grandpa is 76 and has had 3 major heart attacks and copd and can still out work people 15 years younger than him
Man imagine what the older folk that's never allowed to drive again, what I've there all alone no family or friends alive, or no near by, just home alone
Tears streaming down my face. My dad is 87 and I worry about him driving but I would never treat him like that. Our parents deserve respect and dignity and there are better ways to handle the situation. The look on the old man's face just makes me see my dad's face.
LIVE Joe Nichols, one of the best voices out there. Met him years ago and he was super nice. And God is getting tired of what we're doing and soon He'll send Jesus to get the believers. Trust me, you don't want to be left behind. If you want to know how to get to Heaven, Google the Romans Road. and hurry. God bless everyone!
Oh my god I'm so glad you reacted to Joe Nichols he is one of my fave 5 male country singers :-) this song is so beautiful and I can't stop crying at it xxx
This song is so powerful and he sings the truth. This world would be in a downward spiral if God turned his back on us the way some have turned their back on him. I’m so thankful for God’s amazing grace.
I didn't know you were a truck driver as well I'm a truck driver myself I've been doing it nine years I know what you're talking about how many people to be driving reckless out here I just want to tell you thank you again for your service and keep up the good work on these videos
You're a veteran right? Well if you're in the mood for country music, try the song Letters from Home by John Michael Montgomery Its a song about a man who's been deployed getting letters from different loved ones
this song was one i listened to a lot as a kid and as a single mom, when was my mom was "absent" from my life and i didn't have my dad, there was no one to believe in me except me, so I'm very thankful for myself and my strength because i could have given up. I always turned to music, it was just about the only thing I had to keep me a happy most of the time, and I'm 29, a mom and just about the most successful person in my family so I can't complain anymore and I'll never regret my very rough and painful past because it makes me appreciate my life now.
I just recently discovered . Reaction videos and totally enjoy them most of the songs ive seen reactions to are songa i know by heart ... but seeing your fist reaction is like expecting them for the first time..
You never how close someone is to giving up, Discouragement or Encouragement could be the difference between them walking way or them trying again and achieving their goal.
Love all your honest reactions and enjoy hearing your thoughts on the lyrics and videos. Here are few song suggestions you should listen to: Steve Aziar "Waiting on Joe", Trace Adkins "Songs About Me", Jason Meadows "18 Video Tapes"
I was acually fixing to say you need to see this song, defenitly one of my favorite songs You should do Randy travis he walked on water, or maybe Cole swindell you should be here
Yeah my dad was army he was strict about things and our behavior. But, he did cheer us on too. My dad was a great man. He loved us all equal. I am a daddy's girl though 😃
As a veteran I'm sure you've seen the video for "Gone Away" by Five Finger Death Punch. TMI My mother was very much a person like the father here is. She used to call me names and the one sentence when I was eight I will never forget " I should have never saved you" I almost died of SIDS, called me names when I was four after I told her I was assaulted by her Male friend while she was dating my dad, she came back to where we were staying I was sitting on the toilet in the males bedroom bleeding and she said get used to it you won't be good for anything else. So everything I did I did in spite of her my Dad (step) was the one who taught me everything and always encouraged me to follow my dreams. I have a family, I'm a veteran, paralegal, home care nurse, with a masters degree. Not bad for a girl who wasn't smart enough to dig ditches.
I did this ... I did that .... my son can do whatever he wishes (gay ... straight ... Army like his dad or a cook for the homeless ... pick a job) I could care less as long as he is doing what he feels is right. This is how I was raised in the 70's. I love you Mom.
You can't tell a child he or she won't amount to anything. I was raised in that rougher time and still feel I will not have I ever amounted to anything even with all the things I have accomplished.
My husband is putty when it comes to our girls(we have 2) and our 2 boys hes so hard. Despite how hard he is he also makes sure they know he just wants them to do their best and that he loves them with his everything. I'm so proud of how he is with all 4 of our babies

When Joe asked, what if God quit trying, my hair stood up n got the shivers, makes me wonder.
I'm going to join the crowd calling for Joe Nichols's The Impossible. It's going to get you in your feelings but in the best way.
I'm gonna second that nomination. The impossible has Always been one of my favorite songs.
Yes! Yes! Yes! A great song with a great message as well.
1st song that popped in my mind by him. Love that song so much!!!
Country music is about story telling. And it will put you in your feels every dang time.
Amen in my mid thirties now and this is exactly why I have always and will always love country music❤
There, but for the Grace of God, go I. Words to believe in. It really does worry me for our future, that so many people are turning away.

Same. That's the truth,
Love Joe Nichols and this is a beautiful song
Oh damn, that went right to the feels. It was enough with the boy and the old man. But then God? Tears and feels.
This was a very beautiful well written song by Joe Nichols. Thank you playing this one especially Billy since to me it means a lot.
Sang by joe Nichols. Song was written by Harley Allen. But a beautiful song and the right singer for it for sure. Hits your emotions.

Play Jeannie C Reilly's - Harper Valley P.T.A.
That is such a deep song. I believe in Our Lord
Kids today aren't more fragile than we were. We just buried our crap under a lot of scar tissue, depression, and addiction.
Our children are our future and the elderly are our past.. We can learn from both. Children should be cherished and the seniors should be respected.
Amen Brother
I appreciate that you share your Christian view on things during your reactions. Keep it up.
Just wait until you hear Joe live. It somehow sounds BETTER
