Thank you! By far the most simple explanation for the cutting and folding. I was getting intimidated thinking it was going to be too complex. Thank you for this!!!!!! LOVE the Prince pattern and finished product, too! Amazing!
Wow! This is just amazing! I can't believe the attention to details and the precision! I could never do this myself, but I sure love watching the video. I have seen your other book folding videos, as well, and I am pretty much blown away every time. Thank you.
I am a newbie to book folding. The video is fantastic. You explain the combination fold so well. I was getting confused with the combination fold and the cut and fold techniques. Thank You!!!
Thank you. Fabulous explanation. Can your pattern of Prince be bought. My sister is one of his biggest fans. I'd love to do it for her for Christmas 2025
Great video I am fairly new to book folding I'm getting ready to do my first cut I've only been doing MMF so far. I have a question if you are going to use multiple colors in a pattern how do you know where to change the color? Do you have to just keep going back and forth and checking the fold. I hope I'm explaining this right I'm just a little confused but thank you for a great tutorial
Hi! Depending on pattern you would know where to change colors or you could keep checking your pattern. I plan on doing a video soon for a fold with multiple colors. Thaank you -Diana
Brand new to this, I'm halfway thru my first book with a heart. I'm wondering if its possible to add color by just taking an ink pad and rubbing it along the edges once the folds have been made? I get that it probably wouldnt work on a detailed project like this, but a simple heart, i would think it would be ok, but I would rather ask someone with experience. This is really cool!
I started off with a heart too! You can use an ink pad, but the color won't be as rich as if you use a marker to color each page. The ink pad will only color the absolute edge of the page so the color will be more subtle compared to a marker that you color about 1/8" into the edge of the page. Happy folding! Feel free to join my FB group page and post your projects! - Diana
You can! As long as you have a clear black and white photo and then put it through the pattern maker software, you can make any picture. I did one of my niece and nephew.
For photos of someone, I would recommend the foto book art where you apply strips of the image to the edges. There is no cutting involved. I have lots of video for foto book art

Sorry for the late reply - When would you need it by? I probably won't get a chance to create one till this weekend.

The pattern I am using has over 20 cuts on some pages. Have you ever had one with that many?
Yes - I can't remember which pattern that was however. Post your work in my FB when you're finished!

i need to skip after every page right? so i will just fold it in half?
i mean skip a page in between
On a combi pattern, you don't skip a page. What pattern are you using?
en français s'il vous plaît
