To be clear, not a vent post! Just more unhinged ocs and unhinged ideas.
Rabbit is an insecure spirit that Wolf reaches out to. Their power is equivalent to population sizes, so Rabbit is considerably stronger than Wolf, and they often hurt them on accident... Well, maybe it used to be on accident. Rabbit becomes obsessed with that feeling of control and takes things too far again and again, all the while blaming Wolf for them not getting along. Can't they see how devoted they are?
They're both supposed to be androgynous but I drew them both like men, whoops! Use whatever pronouns you want it doesn't matter.

Rabbit is definitely a sorry sight! They're convinced they're doing all the right things, so Wolf not responding positively just confuses them and makes them more desperate. Unable to see the issue with their own actions they just dig a deeper and deeper hole. They're manipulative and controlling without being able to differentiate that from what a normal friendship is. ...Rather, they like how that sort of relationship feels, so it's more of a choice to not acknowledge their own bad behavior and instead blame the other person. So don't feel *too* bad for them 😁

I love this toxic trope, where one person tries to help the other, and because of that, the second person descends into madness and obsession due to the being their saviour, thinking that theyre roped up in the other person’s life, the one being under control, while the other is actually the one being controlled out of their fear. The second person doing vile and wrong things for their approval, and once they stop loving them in a sense, they refuse to leave them, hurting the other in the process, and because of them, hurting themselves(figurative and literally) to be with them, this is so creative omg

Cool animation! Loving the expressions. And I find the spirit idea intriguing. But now I can't stop thinking about how powerful some insect population spirits are. Like if there are 20 quadrillion ants on the world in total, imagine how ungodly powerful some of those ant spirits are. Terrifying! Unless these spirits only extend to mammals and not insects, birds, or reptiles.

I was thinking about the other day! Honestly there's like no world building in this story so I really have no idea if insects should have spirits but, at the very least, they are bound to certain territories and their power is based on the population of that specific territory... what determines those territory boundaries I don't know either. But I can say location is taken into account for spirit types and strengths 😅
"Please dont desert me" man that line hits. Had an abusive/toxic friendship from elementary to high school. They used to threaten unaliving themself if we stopped being friends or would tell me to not abandon them. Glad I'm done with high school.

The part that really gets me is when the rabbit ends up hurting the wolf, causing them to loose their arm--and the rabbit's immediate reaction is to drop to their knees and ask if the wolf would like to hurt them back.
After this, the rabbit removes their own arm, as if harming someone else can be erased the moment you "get even". It just something that's so manipulative and childish; I can picture little kids doing the same if one of them hurts their siblings, but it feels so dark here.
I love how you can show how obsessed he is with her just through the body language, and you can kind of see his thought process with the look on his face. I absolutely love it bro

this is literally so incredible!!! as a fellow artist i cant express how much i admire you just from this alone, animating is a thing but the expression of pure desperation and how you portray him clearly not understanding what he did wrong and just like the songs name "all i want is you now", its such an amazing thing im baffled!
i like how you blacked out his face at the end it shows some kind of dehumanizing? like hes no longer someone who you can familiarize yourself with but still keeping the eye for expression purposes which makes it even more intense !! so amazing ive always wanted to reach this level of expressionism and i honestly respect you so much!
Edit: i just noticed how you made his frame/animation shaky compared to the wolf which is clearly shown in the end hugging/grabbing scene, so much detail!! im amazed and i couldnt praise this enough

I just found this and I am so in love with the characters and your art style. Gosh, it's splendid and the story as well! Normally, it's the rabbit the one fearing the wolf but in this case it's reverted and ahh it's so cool. A lonely bunny that was finally given comfort and they turned that trust into an obsession, fear of losing them turning into a sick desire to cage them up and keep them forever. So cool.!

This reminds me for my friendship with my ex best friend.He was obsessed with me and he always talked with me.He never left me alone for 1 minute,and from the start I was happy,because someone like me so much,but with the time I started to feel awkward and I told him I want to end our friendship and he started to cry and told me that he will kill himself.And I was scared so I chose to be with him and I tried so many times to left him,but i couldn't he always cried and wanted to die.And finally we are not friends anymore and he blocked me,but before that he told me it's all my fault.And the most of that he was obsessed with someone who is from different city and he came 2,3 times only to see me.I hope he is good now
Okay I rewatched this a few times and throughout a majority of this video you can see both of them are missing an arm, BUT you captured them so perfectly in specific poses that you don't notice it until you see the MEMORIES. And the memories are when the color changes or there's fog in the corners. Only here you can see them using their other arm that should be missing. Such amazing key to detail

I somewhat feel this way, im clingly because in past relastionships ive been ghosted. I want to be around them as much as possible, but they slowly drift away. Ive gotten better over the years but im still sorta attached to my partner for a month or 2. After that i get comfortable with them.

As someone with a likely chance of obsessive love disorder, you can really pick out and understand the differences between a real love and an obsession- it gets easier to see the writing on the wall as the relationship goes on, as most people are infatuated with the other at the beginning of the relationship, but as that dies down, real love blooms. In an obsessive relationship, infatuation never dies down and you devote your entire life to that person, swearing never to hurt them and to make them feel special but forgetting about yourself entirely in the meantime, doing whatever you possibly can to keep with them, you become an entirely different person.
To me, this animation seems to depict that pretty well, and the subtle details are wonderful. 10/10
IT'S SO INTERESTING! Bunny wants the appreciation of Wolf and brings Wolf dead animals, then Wolf thinks that it's not good and tries to make Bunny stops, but Bunny carves the loving of Wolf that he had by bringing him an animal! I ALSO FIND IT SO INCREDIBLE THAT IT'S THE BUNNY THAT FINISHES BY BEING VIOLENT WITHOUT WANTING TO!!! I love stories where you can feel bad and at the same time hate both of the characters! Wolf really seems like the kind type at the beginning, but he kind of controls Bunny (even if I don't know if he's aware of it or not) and Bunny becomes totally obsessed with Wolf :0. Tbh I don't even know maybe what I'm saying is totally false and I take full responsibility on it. You must've worked a lot for this, I deeply appreciate your hard work.
