Yea. I just want the noise barriers to be transparent so that I can see the scenery again.

Or use plants as noise cancelling walls (hedges) instead of barriers .. more plants and noise reduction .. scenary also becomes nicer

I love this, and I am eagerly looking forward to the changes coming. Singapore always thinks ahead. However, I have one tiny gripe. How would Bus Captains be able be truly inclusive when an increasing amount of them do not know how to speak English? If I was blind, and required instructions in English, how would that work?. A masterplan should not only include infrastructure, but language and accessibility of that language as well.

They are building infrastructure. The thomsom east coast line is opening soon (end of Jan) in stages every year up to 2024 followed by the Downtown line extension, North East Line Extension of Punggol Coast station and circle line stage 6 by 2025 which finally closes the circle. Other projects include completing of renewal works for the NSEWL (halfway there) with sleeper replacement, 3rd rail and signalling system completed. Power, control and replacement of 66 1st generation rolling stocks underway. The new trains will enter revenue service in 2021 build by Bombardier from Canada the new 66 R151 will replace the original C151 stocks.
Renewal works for the NEL to avoid the bad incidents from repeating like the NSEWL.
Contract to purchase additional trains for the Circle and North East line has been signed with Alstom Metropolis from France. They build the trains for the 2 lines. Bought in batches since 2018 and another in 2019. Slated to arrive around after the R151. The additional sets is to deal with rising use of the line and to improve frequency especially so since the circle line has 1 more stage to open.
Upgrading of the Bukit Panjang LRT with new train sets replacing old ones and upgrading other areas like signal and control. The punggol and sengkang lrt are now capable of being double carriage after the upgrade.
The contracts for the Jurong Region Line are already being awarded to the contractors last year like the Bahar Junction station (T section interchange). The line opens in stages from 2026.
The cross island line phase one has alrdy been finalised for the route that links Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, pasir ris area and all the way to Changi. The final allignment has also been decided to go through the central catchment nature reserve. With that, the alignment from the CNR to clementi to gul circle of the line can be announced by end of the year(expecting) or the brach line to punggol.
Other areas of extension under study is the Jurong line extension to the circle line from the jurong area and the Tuas South branch from Gul Circle like Tenah Merah though not happening any time soon as there is not much demand in that area but they designed the station in a way that it can be an extension.
Tenah Merah interchange will have a forth platform. Like jurong east, it will quicken frequency for the changi branch and also to keep up when demand rises in the future. Frequency is an atrocious 11mins as the trains like to wait for >5 minutes before departing to fill the carriages with passengers.
What type are you refering to?

unfortunately not one word on how to reduce and restrict private car speed and use. Pedestrians must have the right to cross the streets within their neighbourhood whenever they wish, and infrastructure must be in place to reduce car speed and increase driver's alertness in residential areas. Pedestrians must not be made to wait more than 15 seconds to cross any road or street, and only certain private vehicles should be allowed to enter the roads/streets surrounding any MRT stations. Car parks should be eliminated from many town area streets to benefit small businesses. Stop building new roads/expressways, stop adding lanes to existing roads and streets. Get rid of people who don't regularly take public transport and walk from any committee/department/ministry that plan and make decision on transport matters.

Work of a bunch of Amateurs !!! Looks good on slides, realistically it is messy. Look at the number of accidents and fatalities created by portable mobility device and bicycles on the road, pathway and void deck. Be realistic, satisfy pedestrians need first !!! Singapore pathway is no longer safe for pedestrians. Do your proper due diligence before implement/introducing things on congested roads/pathway/void!!!!

The focus on developing transport to a level of standard that is suitable for Singapore's context is far more important. A bus enthuiast should understand this objectively and not emotionally. As dissapointed we all are, some things must change in interest of the objectives
