@@cridemord7025 there are two Namidabashi in Tokyo and both are original. Namidabashi for ashita no joe is located in taito district, but actual bridge don't exist anymore. There are Namidabashi intersection though.
Ashita no Joe doesn't teach you how to be a man, it teaches you the consequences of competing in sports, you could rather become a murderer or murdered. Yes i specifically use the word murder in here because murder is commited when violence comes to be first in the hearts of men, and violence is violating the rights of another person, what these boxers do is hurt each other in an event of pacted violence, for the sake of fame, money or to prove one's ego. That's not how a man is made, a man is made beeing righteouss and defending life, life that is good naturally, because those that are wicked deserve no life.

The greatest shonen series ever made nothing will ever come close to this in terms of storytelling, characterization, and execution. Not even my beloved One Piece (my favorite series) can come close to what this series did
