Been listening to this at least once a day since the Boiler Room dropped, such a beautiful and uplifting song. The 2000s trance sound works so perfectly, and the synergy between the beat and Romy's voice is flawless. Fred can really produce any genre and knock it out of the park.

I just want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to listen to this absolute BANGER. I just came across it today (exactly one year since it dropped) and it’s making me feel this Weird nostalgia. It drives me to the yearly 2000s as if I lived through the “trance era” even though I was only a child then. Somehow I miss those times, the early tech, the clothes, the cars, the VIBE. This is it for me. Music is suppose to make you feel things, and this one is making me happily returning to that moment in time

When I first heard this in the famous boiler room set I got tears in my eyes and just had to sit down, the nostalgia of 2000's trance and Romy's voice which I've known for years as well... but most of all, it showed me the emotional support I've been missing in the past year. I've lost my mother, got depressed and slowly grew apart from my girlfriend and now broke up. This song just perfectly exposed what I needed and haven't had, it makes it a bit bitter sweet. IDK why I felt compelled to share this here but this song just makes me feel something that no other trance song ever has. wondering if someone has a similar experience..

When you read that Romy wrote this song about her cousin as they both lost their mums when they were young, it makes it so much more emotional. I had tears when I re-listend to it again after knowing that.

Yet it works just as well in *How to Have Sex* (2023) starring *Shaun Thomas* (who plays Badger) and *Samuel Bottomley* (who plays Paddy) who grew up within 3 miles of me in *Bradford.* It's a film where Paddy "R-word" a girl multiple times, but she's too scared to say anything to her friends. Badger clearly senses something is wrong with the girl, so he tries to comfort her. I suspect Badger figures it out in the end, however he stays quiet too, and doesn't tell Paddy he was wrong for what he did.

Heard this on the radio today and thought to myself I never heard this before as I'm in my 40s and did the whole trance thing In the late 90s/ early 00's I am very pleasantly surprised this is recent as its an absolute banger which also sends a message to people who have suffered from mental health and I've known a few who unfortunately aren't with us anymore. So everything it says is true, you don't have to go through it all alone, and you don't have to be so strong x

@@CPTLYNXY Yeah, there's definitely a lot of good trance out there like what you mentioned, but it usually gets overshadowed by the stuff that just doesn't have the same heart, emotion, soul, creativity, melodic variety or propulsiveness, a lot of which doesn't even sound like trance music to me and is more focused on buildups and drops than anything else in order to appeal to the mainstream EDM audience.
