I compare this situation to the one when I go outside and observe insects. I don't wear camouflage or even try to conceal myself from them. Why? Because I know that most insects aren't aggressive, and I'm also not trying to eradicate them. Even if they are startled, I can still hang around long enough to observe them to the point where it's gets close to getting stung or bit. So, if these "things" are of higher intelligence, wouldn't they somehow demonstrate similar behavior, maybe? Just my two cents. But yes, I could also see this being a demonstration, of some sort, from another country. Basically mocking our military if you think about it. Great video, by the way!
The timings of the sightings (just following Putins warning to US and UK) would to me suggest they are testing the reactions of the bases, which frankly is more concerning than the more extreme explanations people are jumping to. I am quite surprised that F15s are scrambled to deal with them though and if the reports are correct that the F15s "chased" the drones then they must be very advanced systems.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Leonardo and Ninja track the drones back to a base of operations to be dubbed the ‘Technodrome’ operated by someone called The Shredder.
Armed forces having been looking at anti-drone for many years. It just wasn't a thing worth doing until recently. There were plans to use GPS jamming and directed EMP devices. Except using those around airfields and highly populated areas is a really bad idea. Link jamming - not so useful for pre-programmed drones that do not need a link. It's complex and expensive.
I was lucky enough to have a brief at Leeming with a look at some of the kit I guess being used. Not in deep detail for obvious reasons. From what we were told the trace and track as mentioned is the prime focus, ultimately they can bring down the drone but with considerable risk to people on the ground. Also the transmission to kill the drone would effectively damage all the networks in sight as well - so not a good outcome there. The system is not a turn up and fire system - it takes time to soak up the normal background signals and then identify the ‘new’ that appear. Used at Olympics and other big events.
Very cool! Must be fun to play with in person. Yes, the take down options won't be used in this case. It's nice we have the platform that works this well, though!
Interesting, thank you for the update. Surely if commercial or foreign actor drone then it has limited battery life, surely they can be tracked to source or followed. Will follow this with great interest, it’s not really being covered by mainstream press.
If these objects were truly "threats" the bases would not be here as we know them now. Tech like this is so far beyond ours that if they wanted to harm us they would have - long ago.
Not really. How do you think any invading force gains intel. You watch and observe, you never go in guns blazing. If this is tech that we can not identify or capture, you should be very worried indeed.
With Russia rattling the nuclear saber, the U.S. may be doing something to ready our own nuclear deterrent which is obviously drawing attention from some neighbors from faraway places to my mind.
If a drone is flying 4 miles away from this detection equipment they're not allowed to intercept it anyway because it would be outside of the restricted no-fly zone surrounding these sites and completely legal for a hobbyist to be flying. For example, Lakenheath apparently has a big Center Parcs pretty much right next to the geofenced perimeter where a drone would get a good view of the base perfectly legally.
You know, I don't think the problem is that local hobbyists are flying their drones 4 miles away from these airbases, legally... I mean, _if_ that was the case, why would anyone react to it?
It's easy to detect civilian drones with RF receivers etc, but it's also easy to make a drone that does not emit any RF when switched to a proprogrammed course. If there are any drones in the first place!
We need to clarify drone as being the hovering variety or those looking like planes as they will fly totally differently.. surely a basic definition needing clarity.. are they flying over or hovering??
Hey Chris! I think when they have identified them properly, they should release more. The problem is, if this is all related to wider issues, they will be keen to keep it under wraps.
Good update and your conclusions seem reasonable to me. Any chance of a short video on the "drone" caught on camera by a pilot at Manchester Airport yesterday. Looking at it, I've no understanding of what it is. I presume it's unrelated to the US base sightings, but maybe not.
As this develops, I hope that this will bring an end (or at least diminish) the number of drone incursions into our prisons, bringing drugs and various other contraband items (phones, cash, arms, etc). At my location, situated in the open countryside, we have the possibility of criminals deploying drones from a massive area, able to direct them to specific cells and, more usually, specific locations within the grounds where packages can be later retrieved by inmates.
If we needed to capture a drone, I suggest we use a rocket that fires up above the target, then separates (breaks apart in two) to dispose of the rocket part, then drops fast and falls into the target whilst rotating and releasing a weighted net - basically like a fishing net.
The objects identified that my reports are discussing are not metal balls, you are possibly mixing a couple of stories up. These are drones seen eyes on by base personnel.
@Geeksvana yea i finished warching and i agree with ya, tho dare i say that the metal balls are more ever present then any other type of sighting. We'll see its all fun and games till it aint
Drone...what kind ? a wee thing with four little props flown by an enthusiast or an unnamed service vehicle ? I live near m'hall, saw a single green light in the sky moving about and many F 15's flying about, it all looked like a drill maybe ? or not.
Why is this happening now. When is it happening. Why these sites. What is to be gained by surveilling them from the air now as opposed to two months ago.
I 'heard' they changed references from ufo to uap to prevent ppls from finding info, since no one would know what uap means it's a deep cover up, we wont know unless something huge happens they can't hide
I go to Lakenheath to watch the jets flying, it’s a training ground for F15s and F35s, they fly every week day and loads of them, there’s no way they would take the chance of flying jets over the public with drones controlled by someone else hovering around, and the air force have to put warnings and dates out to the public of when there going to be flying at night or weekends in the local area, let’s get serious it’s a full scale air force base they had nukes there not long ago not sure if they still do, there not going to let anything near the place unless they No what it is or they can’t stop them.
Considering drones are in use in some military areas and erm other areas. Drone pilots you’d think they would have more sense on where they used them. And there are areas where they should be banned security / defence related
Its only a matter of time before someone says " yes they are small green creatures that stepped out of the craft that seemed to come from space speaking an unknown language and holding a map that seems to show a distant planet but we just have no evidence of ET life"
Could be a drone that flies autonomously and uses topology positioning, computer vision rather than just GPS, no RC link or downlinks of any kind. The jammer would be completely useless against it, only a high powered laser could shoot it down.
From the poor footage seen so far it sounds like a hoax. Someone falsely reporting drone sightings? Did a film crew zoom into a so called drone to find it was a crane with warning lights on the gantry?
The original sightings were from military personnel reported over several days. The hysteria that has developed since is UFO chasers insistingbevery light is E.T.
There probably a drone that requires pre programming almost like an onboard flight path system that can’t be jammed or tracked. But they could be spotted then laser guided mini gun to take it down. Or erm some other stuff but I’ll leave that there
well it's a bit late now, it's been all over the news so i'd imagine those who are flying them are aware.. I agree, it’s hardly a covert operation and military satellites can see just as much as high altitude drone. The question is, why have the military released this to the press. If it was a real threat they’d keep it quiet, at least until they’d figured out what was going on. This makes no sense.
I would have though any military or secure sites would have restricted flight, and normal hobbyist drone flyers wouldn't normally be able to fly over these sights even if they tried to? but also the authorities are very slow in their thinking if they dont already have anti drone technology in place? especially knowing what is happening in Ukraine.
That wasn’t a recent incident. It was from years ago, and it lacks any evidence aside from an anonymous Twitter user. There is no way to validate the authenticity of it, and per usual they didn’t film any anomalous behavior. Had there actually been an anomalous craft at an airport they would ceased all flights and they wouldn’t have been able to keep the lid on it. It doesn’t rule out ET craft but it certainly doesn’t seem to point in the direction of it being a real incident.
@@EchoP7596 Then again, look up the O'Hare Airport incident of 2006 - they had plenty of reasons to ground all flights, yet they just chose to joke around and then promptly ignore what was going on, but not before gagging all witnesses. @@mace8873 I am aware of the incident. It was much different than this alleged incident. There were witnesses that claimed to see a saucer shaped craft in the sky for about 5 minutes. Some of the witnesses claimed it shot into the sky at high velocity leaving a hole in the cloud. The problem was that most people at the airport that day didn’t see any object in the sky and it wasn’t on the radar. I don’t know what it was as we don’t have any picture or videos of anomalous behavior. The USAF bases are RAF Stations which in civilian are against Official Secert Act sames as RN Bases and British Army barracks. Civilian or of country Integence Officers are taken to courts and prisons.
If you were going to test a drone intercept system you would get a drone pilot to do his best to overcome your systems. The RAF stress the USAF systems ( and at time get through ) as part of our security and training and they do the same. The UK have developed successfully tactical platforms and strategies to adapt ahead of threats. A thousand Bee's will bring down a lion so large powerful systems are no longer the favoured option. There is nothing to see here......
I can totally understand not using live ammunition to take one of these down as I think most people would. However why haven't they used electronic warfare measures earlier to try to jam or spoof these drones to land. Which they currently are doing in ukraine. At least if they brought just one down they could confirm what sort of drones these are answering alot of questions.
I find the lack of information appalling under the guise of "security reasons". If there are unidentified craft flying in the skies above Britain, the people should be kept informed of all that is known. The days of "trust us we are protecting you" are long over
That is ship based at the moment. They also would not fire something like that in an area of the UK. Firing at anything with anything would be last resort.
Why can't they use advanced military drones or aircraft to follow the drones flying over the bases and finding where they go? I mean, they use them all the time to track suspects in war zones already. Surely they already have high definition photos and videos of these drones as well.
Well I'm in hatfield and last night at around 9pm i saw a hovering white ball way up in the sky i thought wtf but then all a sudden it dropped to ground level then I thought no way that was a shooting star but I thought how was it hovering was I looking from a strange angle? but I thought it had no trail so now I'm seeing all this stuff I'm thinking maybe I did see something. Does anyone know what it looked like?
I figured by now, they would have captured one, or tracked them down with a helicopter, or brought in reaper drone to watch for them. Next would be rewards to the public to report who is doing this. So has anyone talked with any local drone clubs?
Yeah if this new tech can't take these drones out I'm leaning towards ET... Because even if the sensors can't detect them I'm sure a dude with a farkin big gun with conventional sights could... And also, after watching the Lakenheath vid you can hear jets flying around... Why didn't they chase them? Maybe because they couldn't see them... I'm sure if they could have been taken out they would have...

How long can they fly for? Surly they qould be tracked bacck to operator's if they have any.
U noticed the lack of sparrows and other small birds there gone
The timings of the sightings (just following Putins warning to US and UK) would to me suggest they are testing the reactions of the bases, which frankly is more concerning than the more extreme explanations people are jumping to. I am quite surprised that F15s are scrambled to deal with them though and if the reports are correct that the F15s "chased" the drones then they must be very advanced systems.
Also the clay pigeon shooters could certainly be handy at those bases or something along those lines
Wouldn’t be surprised if Leonardo and Ninja track the drones back to a base of operations to be dubbed the ‘Technodrome’ operated by someone called The Shredder.
WHY did I not see this before... 😭. I am off for some pizza.
They’re going to track the drones and find that they’re from under the oceans. They have multiple bases throughout the oceans.
Why call it drones if nobody knows what they are?
Because they're drones. US has eyes on them, and some witnesses have already stated that they've heard them making noise, like quadcopter noise.
why when it would be very easy to create a small rapid drone that could use its cam to track and approach and bring down the drone easily?
Interesting, thank you for the update. Surely if commercial or foreign actor drone then it has limited battery life, surely they can be tracked to source or followed. Will follow this with great interest, it’s not really being covered by mainstream press.
“No critical thinking being applied” is why I like watching you. Good stuff.
If these objects were truly "threats" the bases would not be here as we know them now. Tech like this is so far beyond ours that if they wanted to harm us they would have - long ago.
They're not here to harm anyone.
You don't think these are training drones for Ukrainian soldiers to practice with and against?
No, Ukrainians are being trained by British Army not USAF.
Not really. How do you think any invading force gains intel. You watch and observe, you never go in guns blazing. If this is tech that we can not identify or capture, you should be very worried indeed.
@@al1356Yes, first you send in scouts. Then invade.
Anyone heard clicking sounds by chance?
We NEED our allies! Thank you UK!
The US/UK Military don’t give a shit about laws. These aren’t drones, just accept it lol.
All well and good but they aren’t drones!
Yep ,I videoed them in Wales look at video it def wasn't drones ,
Have you seen the stuff from Manchester airport, brilliant stuff.
Saw it on Caspersight
@@supersaabclaire I'll have to watch it, cheers for the heads up.
@mantovannni no worries mate 👍
@@supersaabclaire from inside the cockpit too crazy
Manchester Airport footage is fake
Laughable😂 drones my ass! Are we really that gullable? Stinks of disinformation 🤔
Hoax call and (social media lies/news)
SOOOOO why havnt they scrambled Military helicopters 🤷♂️ these arnt Drones , FACT FACT FACT , it's BS saying it's Drones. Easy way out .😠
As this develops, I hope that this will bring an end (or at least diminish) the number of drone incursions into our prisons, bringing drugs and various other contraband items (phones, cash, arms, etc). At my location, situated in the open countryside, we have the possibility of criminals deploying drones from a massive area, able to direct them to specific cells and, more usually, specific locations within the grounds where packages can be later retrieved by inmates.
This is all very reminiscent of the Gatwick incident imo… I never did receive my Gatwick battery..
If we needed to capture a drone, I suggest we use a rocket that fires up above the target, then separates (breaks apart in two) to dispose of the rocket part, then drops fast and falls into the target whilst rotating and releasing a weighted net - basically like a fishing net.
I find it funny that you would think a metal ball could be man made. That is imo even crazier then jumping straight to aliens
@@Geeksvanathey could be lying 🤷🏽♀️
Not drones... something else.
My money is on Hoax calls reporting people with drones.
Drone...what kind ? a wee thing with four little props flown by an enthusiast or an unnamed service vehicle ? I live near m'hall, saw a single green light in the sky moving about and many F 15's flying about, it all looked like a drill maybe ? or not.
Not according to the spotters. They've all been interviewed by the base, seeking intel. I'm local too :)
Not a drill or a drone. It’s a legitimate UFO of non-human origin.
@@amethyst_moonchild so whats your take ?
@@frizzlefry5904 I haven't got a clue! Russians? Not aliens or kids, I'm positive about that. Videos from the last few days have been taken offline.
Ok, a bit of info, if you saw them at 5000ft what would you think?
Why is this happening now. When is it happening. Why these sites. What is to be gained by surveilling them from the air now as opposed to two months ago.
Sad history of watering down of terminology: UFOs > UAP > UAS > "drones"....
I 'heard' they changed references from ufo to uap to prevent ppls from finding info, since no one would know what uap means
it's a deep cover up, we wont know unless something huge happens they can't hide
Bingo!
Considering drones are in use in some military areas and erm other areas. Drone pilots you’d think they would have more sense on where they used them.
And there are areas where they should be banned security / defence related
The radio communication that was military referenced a "uap". Not a drone.
Fascinating
There probably a drone that requires pre programming almost like an onboard flight path system that can’t be jammed or tracked.
But they could be spotted then laser guided mini gun to take it down. Or erm some other stuff but I’ll leave that there
"Hazel" laughs at your counter-drone tech!
well it's a bit late now, it's been all over the news so i'd imagine those who are flying them are aware.. The fact that they where able to fly over in the first place shows how little the UK respects the USA on its soil, and how little the USA is will to defend it's assests.. If the drones had bombs, we'd be having a completely different conversation..
F15 strike eagles cant cant intercept them people.....allso its not just the u.s bases. Bue orb landed in manchester airport. Shot of like lightning.
Did you mention the Leonidas drone defense weapon. If this thing didn’t work then they may not be earthly vehicles. Apparently it’s a microwave EMP directed energy weapon. Very new
That thing looks like Johnny 5 from Short Circuit..😂😂
Plot twist… Need input! 😁
Hi Sean, Ninja ? Really, I would love to see if it works. How can they make a none GPS drone return without a GPS? If i was doing something like that, I don't want to see my drone return to me. But I guess it works. Thanks for the video and info on this subject.
Hey John! It feels like the magic behind the curtain, doesn't it? This tech seems to be one of the rare platforms that actually works. There is a lot of snake oil for sale in the counter drone world.
Are they ordinary drones or something larger like a small aircraft?
Much larger. Reports state 20ft in span.
Great opportunity to test the effectiveness/state of development of Dragonfire or LAWS
This is NHI. They are literally making themselves known. What better way than to show dominance of military bases knowing they are helpless to do anything.
If you just fly drones over all the bases at the same time things will go badly.
Oh well, once they've got all their state of the art tech sorted to bring them down, jam or identify what these 'Drones' are, we'll know whether there are UAP ones they can't do shit about..That'll be a slam dunk moment...
Except that we won't know - or at least be told about it one way or the other.
@@stewstube70 Too many phones and people looking for them not to be noticed. Once seen, social media goes ballistic and adds even more eyes...The real ones are presenting themselves for us to see, not to lied about by authorities...We'll see...
This new military tech will also help investigators study flight route pattern history of captured drones.
Well Brit's that live around these bases. Keep an eye out for falling drones. Remember bob and weave.
😂😂😂
@@amethyst_moonchild I know Bob but don't know anyone called Weave and I cannot weave am I dun for?
Odd that around the time of drones a notam was out for all this area that heli ops without lights would be operating.
State testing readiness. Needs testing and a solution.
Definitely designed to be in plain sight if it was intended to be spying im sure the bird like drones would have been used for a fly past
I agree, it’s hardly a covert operation and military satellites can see just as much as high altitude drone.
The question is, why have the military released this to the press. If it was a real threat they’d keep it quiet, at least until they’d figured out what was going on.
This makes no sense.
Might be a psyop to claim Russia has attacked the UK and get an excuse for an escalation in the proxy war.
Or aliens.
Espcially knowing that the curtain-wearing sandal-men of Daesh dropped 40mm grenades from small consumer drones at least 7 years ago.
Have you seen the 'blue sphere' that's landed at Manchester Airport. Looking a tad anomalous to me. Link on my page.
Yes. That's an interesting story. I haven't seen much from the original posts but I understand they were removed?
Seems to me they have pretty much been able to keep a lid on it, at least it didn't lead to anything, sooo...
That being said it is completely different than this alleged incident where this “pilot” claims this craft landed on the runway and then went back up.
It's on.
Better late than never! Key word "Preemptive"
These drones are nuclear attached Ariel vehicles. UAP. Strong link between nuclear and Orbs.
The days of "trust us we are protecting you" are long over
Drones are usually programmed to return home during loss of signal
I saw one of those drones on the 5/11/ 24 at 16.30 Ayrshire Scotland and a friend had seen one the night before
what was so special in Ayrshire to make you suspicious it wasn't just a hobby flyer , seen plenty around here , heck I even have them 😅
Watched the videos and to me they dont look like drones .
They don't look or behave like your standard drones. But I don't know anything about military drones.
Thought we had a super duper dragonfire laser system or is that more bs 😂
That is ship based at the moment. They also would not fire something like that in an area of the UK. Firing at anything with anything would be last resort.
What intelligence can drones collect that satellites can't?
One of them looked suspiciously like a large crane with lights on the gantry.
I figured by now, they would have captured one, or tracked them down with a helicopter, or brought in reaper drone to watch for them. Next would be rewards to the public to report who is doing this. So has anyone talked with any local drone clubs?
Hahahaha 😂
live update from pentagon on now18:00 on yt
Thank you Steve! I have just put it on to watch.
What is the penalty to be faced for doing something like this? If it's harsh, I really don't get why these drones have their lights on?
Surely if it were aliens, they wouldn't just be visiting USA Air bases in the UK? Russia anyone?
Maybe they were hungry and looking for a 24/7 McDonalds?
So why have they not published CCTV evidence of those UAPs..
Thank you to the British government for being a true ally to the United States in helping to track down this serious security threat. God bless! 🇺🇸👍👋
