Union is a waste of money and dose nothing but protect worthless workers.

@@mmane257 that explains why it's falling apart 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@mmane257 And here I thought it was slaves.
Anyone fighting AGAINST unions is fighting AGAINST fairness for workers. Bottom line. The fact that some people don’t get this OBVIOUS fact is surprising. It doesn’t take a genius.
We need a UNIVERSAL workers union!
Unions are needed for the next generations! I am 24 year UAW member. I can testify to the union's importance.
i fix air conditioners for a living. I see more retired union workers supporting extended families with their pensions, than I do anyone else. I know one man literally supporting a union hating son and his family! I've seen entire family groups vanish into the winds, when they die. No matter where you stand on union workers, there is no denying that they are the backbone and the lifeline of the American Economy.
Lol lol OK kid.
Nice, hope they unionize. Ive always supported the worker and worker rights. 🥰🥰🥰
As an Alabama native I stand with the workers and the unions. If this vote passes it will be a HUGE win for them and their communities. The governor should be absolutely ASHAMED of herself. But these people have no shame, no morals and absolutely no business our government. ✊ Vote ✊ Them ✊ Out
Power to the people!
*Workers are not slaves!*
*Workers have rights!*
Unions = 💪💪
You are a joke
Yah, I’m sure the elites kind of see it differently than you. And since every man has his price, it will remain that way until money has no value. Until it does, your output equals your worth in money and you will be treated as such. Eg you and I are wage slaves and day by day we’re drifting closer to indentured servitude. If you want to be in a clan like a union, by all means, but it’s a short term solution, once the union becomes an institution, it’s just another overlord that’ll age like milk. UAW for example.
Every high school student should learn about the history of the labour movement.
Indeed! How it has been crushed with a little help from 'Our Glorious Leaders' all over this land.
Including its infiltration by organized crime and rampant corruption. They did huge damage to unions. The previous 2 UAW presidents were sentenced to prison for corruption, as part of an investigation that resulted in charges against 16 UAW officials.
High school students are not learning anything at all. Going to college and still don’t know basic math
This is what I love to see. The south unionizing like we did in past years. The owners had a stranglehold on union busting and right to work laws for decades
Every workplace should have a union
In Germany LABOR UNION'S ARE LITERALLY REQUIRED. For a German Company this should be a Slam Dunk. However this Alabama Bunch wants otherwise.
Pro union!
Auto workers. Together. Strong.
Rock On UAW!!! From your brothers and sisters at Local 958
Go Mercedes! Unionize now.✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
America works best when we say #UnionYes! #UnionStrong
Unionizing creates more negotiating between management and workers. It’s laughable that Starbucks calls their workers “partners” and then when they say oh we’re partners huh? Ok let’s start a discussion and they say nah y’all fired.
If employers treated their employees with dignity, there'd be no need for a union.
1965 Pay ratio CEO to average employee 20 to 1

i dont understand the problem, Mercedes is a German company and they have a strong union and i don't have heard this is a problem
All of your stock footage is of mechanics not factory workers
That is 100% typical Walmart union busting tactics! Almost word for word from Walmart corporate anti union tactics
All unions in Germany of course
An overpriced car like Mercedes does not have union workers? Da Fock
This is really weird. Most of the car manufacturers in Germany are unionized including Mercedes. I don’t understand why Mercedes has a problem with it’s USA employees being unionized
Also, the Alabama governor needs to be nicknamed "Poison Ivey." :P
Im pretty sure there was a book written explaining all this about 175 year ago.... 😂
The next big moment for the labor movement is the fight for work-optional lifestyle. This is arguably the civil rights issue of our day. We can finance work optional lifestyle with Universal Basic Income. A simple 10% tax on corporate revenue will generate $4.1 Trillion/year. This is enough to give $1000/month to every man, woman, and child in this country.
Not just no but fuck no I am not paying for you to be worthless nice try.
Stop begging for handouts you didn't earn.
The irony of TYT talking about Unions when internally they are anti-Union and have yet to give their union a contract. Lol
See the corruption by policy makers, corporate, same thing is going in the Aerospace engine manufacturing market. Note
German auto workers are ALL union!C'mon Mercedes-cough up the cash, all the money you charge for these vehicles!
Unions raise the bar for wages across all industries, that’s what the business council is worried about.
That's why Biden tariffs against China are only applied in renewable energy technologies and EVs since those sectors don't have powerful unions and are threat to fossil fuels industries
When someone is willing to spend a lot of money trying to convince you not to do something, you really need to ask why.
The answer is always money.
Mercedes has union reps on the board in Germany.
I work for a Korean automotive battery company that has convinced even very conservative employees to say "I don't want a union but this place needs a union" because of how the leadership treats the workers. They act as if the workers are a burden and seem to think we should pay them for the honor of working for the company. There are constant attempts to push employees to buy there own PPE, and some people do comply. Cheap and fast as possible is the company culture, at the cost of safety and quality.
Good, God Bless You. Stand up to those Cheap Executives ! Especially on PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQIPMENT !
Americans workers should unionize... unions are effective in protecting the workers rights.
Just ask the police to give up their unions and see what answer you'll get.
The difference is that with a police union, there is very little tension between management and the rank and file. Police unions exist to protect cops from outside "threats."
In Ohio republicans will not work if it’s not a union job
Vote The Republican Politicians out of Office. Remember to Vote for the Pro - Union Party in November. I advise you to Unionized. It matters how you get treated where you work. Don't let The Politicians take away your. Rights to Unionized you have to protect yourself.

Lots of love ❤
There’s a lot of misinformation about unions but I think the hardest part for people is that a lot of it is structured like our government. You vote for your rep and policies. You have to be informed and pay attention. The union isn’t gonna help you if you elect people that don’t want to help you.
✊
The uncle ruckus effect. Once a brother got a seat at the table. He suddenly become enlightened
Do not let them scare you.. they're scared they have to pay you a fair wage now ..if you unionize.. Alabama does not want to pay Fair wages
It will not pass. My home state is hugely incompetent and believe corporations will look out for them if they stay loyal and never be fired. If democrats weren’t so closely aligned with republicans, they could fund public schools more and stop funneling money into charter schools and vouchers programs for the rich to save money.

I'm pretty sure if there are lots of conservative GOP members in the John Deere plants in Kansas, Iowa, Gorgia just like the MB plant in Alabama. The way I see it unionizing is not about which president you vote for but about just wanting a fair wage/benefits for a days work. Hyundai, Toyota and Honda simply matched the UAW deal in their factories.
Now it makes sense. That pastor got a big donation to his church.
I'm not against unions but in my experience, a union is only as good as it's leaders and often union leaders can be easily corrupted. The other concern I'd have is Mercedes shutting it's factory and moving everything to Mexico like Stellantis did and like GM and Ford are slowly but surely doing. It is pretty common knowledge that Mercedes Benz models have plummeted in quality in recent years so they could use that as an excuse to shut their operations in the US. So sad though that workers even need to do this. Perhaps if they were better taken care of, they would care more about their work and Mercedes could produce a half way decent car like they used to

TYT has been Unionized for years now.
Mercedes Marge Schott
These two have no idea how business works considering there owner did union busting
They have a union, though.
Do they, how do you know that?
Bipartisan cooperation over labor issues must be a very threatening prospect for the right-w for this reason, as a road to unionization & subsequent recalibration of power/resource distribution. Unlike other characteristics used to divide people over generations if not centuries that stall such progress tho, cohesion around work struggles tends to encompass not only economic, but geographic, & cultural elements. Capitalism of course needs co-workers/colleagues to be partners/comrades but not political allies for this reason.
So then this is where I too see hope, simply because it is so direct & concrete (unlike political & religious propaganda): ‘You don’t work, you don’t eat.’ So what happens when you work & still don’t eat because of wage theft of unsafe working conditions? People can overcome union-squeamishness & get on board when it gets close & bad enough imo, which it is. Just about everything else can -& so will- be NIMBY’d, sadly. Optimistic cynicism maybe, but 🤷🏻♀️
I had someone try to tell me, completely seriously, that teachers would be making 6-digit salaries if teachers unions weren't holding them back. Really? Explain teacher pay in Texas then.

Teachers unions only hold students back.
Sorry, but we can see how much TYT doesn't support unions when you go back and look at how they were doing the exact same anti-union things with their employees were trying to unionize, as well as how much they rail against police unions. Their history on Union support is shady at best.

@@surfgreen60 I realize you have no concern for the hard-working lower class, but they're Americans and Americans deserve a living wage. You're just a corporate stooge. You value greed over fairness. PATHETIC!!!!!!
Ask yourself two questions. One, what's their hourly rate per worker, now, and how many man-hours are tied up in a vehicle. It takes about 18 hours of assembly to put together the vehicle at the plant. Two what's the hourly wage. So, if their hourly rate went up even $20 an hour, at best, it would add about $400 to the cost of each vehicle. It's like a hamburger, it takes about a minute to assemble one at McDonalds. Each one probably has 3 man-minutes tied up in it. If they paid them $20 an hour, each hamburger would have less than $1 worth of labor involved at the restaurant end of the chain. Something easy like a cheeseburger, less than 20 cents in labor involved. Fries, even less, with a higher profit margin. Soda, same, only again higher profit margin than fries.
Don't care. Workers need to be paid a fair and living wage. Unions are necessary.
Why can't the government stay out of workers business with companies, unionization should be between them and their lawyers. Things run smoother if Uncle Sam would keep its nose into governing and out of our work school homes.
