Harvick never wrecked him at Bristol. It was a racing incident and Harvick even said so on the radio at Bristol. He never meant to cut his tire, but chase is now just asking to be wrecked.

Harvick was driving using his rear view mirror more than the front window.
Yes sir, he was so nervous keeping an eye on the #9 that he missed where to brake. Incredible for a guy this experienced.

NASCAR newcomer here from Scotland, dont get to see it live as tv coverage of NASCAR insnt great over here but from what i see here it looks an eventful race.
The road courses are the best.
Lewis Hamilton is the best. I’m so into F1 lately especially.

Beginning of the season I had Larson winning between 3-5 races, this just keeps getting better and better. Btw glad Harvick did Elliott a favor and dumped himself so Chase wouldn’t have to. 🤣

Just wanting to clarify, the rivalry isn’t over. Notice how Harvick didn’t respond to the post race reporter when he asked him if the bad blood is over. All he did was smirk. He should know though if he causes trouble that is intentional next week, he will get suspended, NASCAR doesn’t tolerate stuff like that and Matt kenseth got sat down after he wrecked Logano in 2015.
I don't think Kevin cares and unless Tony calls or text him to let Kevin know it won't Kevin will do whatever

That's the thing, there wasn't really any battles and the big questions were if that bumper was gonna fly off. I get where your coming from but it didn't seem like anything else was happening right then.

@@Roadhouse1997 that's a fair point. I honestly doubt that though. Someone had to be passing, lap traffic, or pitting etc... I think it has to do more with whose bumper it was. If it was any other driver (imo) they would of done a "Crank it up or field run down".
I was there! Absolutely a fantastic race. As a Harvick fan the end sucked but it was a great race

This was the first NASCAR race i watched live in its full lenght. Cuz i am on holiday in the US. ( i am german btw)
I have to say it was good racing. Quiet entertaining. Even though i dont get why there is this "stage" thing... but anyway...
But one thing which bothers me. How can u all live with so many commercial breaks? Its so annoying. I feel like i watched more tv ads then actual racing!
Anyway, eventhough that playoff thing is kind of artificial, it made that race a lot more spicy.
And btw i am happy that Harvick found his karma. :D
Hi Hans ! I'm an old formula car racer from Georgia , USA that aspired to F1 and the Nürburgring and i agree with you that Nascar is highly entertaining. I like it's old school, throwback vibe...not too sophisticated, so opposite to F1. Loved seeing Chase Elliot's beat up car with parts falling off of it making it to the finish and into the next round...they would have instantly retired that car in F1.
As i understand it, the stage racing is an attempt to mimic stick and ball sports with their quarters and halftimes, in an attempt to lure more non racing fans to the sport. Most hard core racing fans like that racing is a NOT a stick and ball sport and NASCAR has alienated many of their hard core, base fans with all of their "gimmicks" in trying to attract new fans.

Tony is still winning races. Jimmie is in a Indy car full time, Dale Jr just came outta retirement and got 14th... the only thing declining is educated Nascar fans and the quality of racing..

@@ChazISfat Jimmie has been awful in Indycar. He overestimated his ability after 1 test at the Indy road course. He was slow at the '21 Rolex 24. He was slow his last 4 years in NASCAR. He declined bigtime after turning 40. You're right, your own comment proves people like you aren't educated about racing.
I really think the video games putting in the road courses helped spur nascar to do this. Love seeing those beasts turning both ways.

No, I forget every race because he has been pretty bad since his near fatal wreck.
The 6 hasn't been impressive since Mark Martin drove it in the late 90s. And it declined in the 2000s. Painful memories...

@@thomasbabcock5174 Ryan Newman hasn't been the same for a while. I hate to say it. It would be pretty cool to see him take on an executive role though, or an engineer as you'd recommend.
Actually one of the best races of the year, had a lot going on and its fair share of drama throughout with the end still being up in the air until the last few laps.
Best part of the race was Elliott being so deep in Harvicks head that just getting in his rear view mirror Harvick screwed up the next corner and slammed into the wall.
Poetic justice for Harvick intentionally wrecking Chase earlier in the race.
