The biggest downside to PSGS is that they consume a fuckton of Stamina. Like, PS Great Hammers have a similarly damaging jump attack and don't consume nearly as much stamina as PSGS. But I suppose that's alright, otherwise they would be tremendously OP

Ever tried a glass cannon madness build wearing Vykes armour which increases self madness build up whilst buffing with Shabriris whoa and utilising two vykes war spears? Its very squishy but cab deal insane amounts of poise and fire damage
I must say, that fight with “Renalla” was pretty interesting. They actually used a backstep to avoid on of your attacks, and that might be the first time I’ve ever seen that…
I have an old man confessor that uses one vykes and some madness spells. I named him wandering madman. When I get invasions with him, I find the enemies and do the wait emote, drop a single pile of poop and then fingers ever once they pick it up.
Bruh lost... you are in my head... just last night I changed up my bestial strength faith build to a madness build with a shield and vykes warspear and guard counters and mixed in with dual vykes spears and dual frenzy seals.
When there is only one Vyke's, the spear is pretty mediocre when compared to some others, due to the range of the spear being shorter, the ash of war being pretty slow, and it taking a bit of time to proc madness on heavier armor. The issue is that not only can you dual-wield them, which causes the madness to increase by a significantly higher amount (or at least it used to before the one patch (I am not sure what the status build-up is for dual-wield nowadays as I don't dual-wield it at all), but multiple people can wield madness sticks and spells, making them significantly harder to fight against. Still requires more brain-cells than moonveil. Not a high bar but a bar nonetheless.
It’s 65% for dual wield attacks that hit twice, 50% for 3 hits, and something like running L1 on curved swords is 40 or 45%, so total 160/180% status build up.

This kind of makes me miss my Madness build. I could never figure out how to use madness effectively, but I kind of miss going for a Frenzied Onryo type look. Shame I could never make her scary to face and I don't have the heart to do the ending, so she got replaced by a Rot swordswoman since I'm out of open character slots. I kind of regret it since Rot has few incantations than Madness does. And I'm even worse with dex sprinkled with Rot.
I would really like to see a normal moonlight greatswords ad a swordnof the consorts, as lore wise, each child of the caria family has one, rykards became blasphemous, ranni's the dark moon, radagons (renallas) became the golden order sword bit what about radahn? He once owned a normal moonlight sword, and what about the forgemaster that made them?
Lost you should try collosal ssword with bleed and poison with the rot talissman and bleed talisman it give an insane ar even though the bleed talisman have been nerf I win the first invasion last night thank to it( zweihander + poison mist+ bleed infusion)
Probably used cheat engine to add them to his game. Thats probably also how he got 99 of every consumable and arrow/bolt type. I don't think that the anti cheat registers that stuff as long as you aren't running it while online
Ah the reason I stopped playing....powerstanceing pokes of any kind having the biggest hitbox known to man...just as busted as ps2 era monster hunter, but players control it rather than the ai....which means spam,spam,spam...run poke run poke run poke...

The reason you could Run through the scarlet rot is Ng+ but I don't know the parameters for it to work in multiplayer

Oh, on ng+ your character pretty much gets a "free" rusted iron ring, so cause the host was on ng+ scarlet swamp had no effect on movement
