Grocery store 3-6 times a week is crazy
Six times may be a bit much. But not all countries suffer from urban sprawl, with single-use zoning that only allows for residential or commercial buildings, but not both. So unless you're in a big city, you have to hop in your car to drive from your giant residential neighborhood to a strip mall next to a highway where all the stores are located. And since it's a hassle to do this every day, you go there once, maybe twice a week and stock up on frozen foods and non-perishables. Voilà. You now have American food and car culture.
Many countries tend to avoid this by having walkable towns with stores, schools and other services specifically placed near residential neighborhoods so you can get there on foot or by bike. So it's easier to pop in to get some quick groceries just for the day.

agree with NL's confusion about some products somehow existing, but i'd take it step further, there are shops that i dont understand how they survive.
The worker's wage, building costs, the costs of acquiring the stock and making you question how are they staying afloat, when will they break even with the investment of setting up the store in the first place. And you know what shops i'm talking about, you rarely see anyone going there, you'd never go there yet the place persists over the years.
