As an Aussie, I'm 44 now, it's in our DNA to get up and watch Football in the middle of the night. My earliest memories are of Dad carrying me out to the loungeroom for FA Cup Finals. The excitement of being the only kid allowed to up at that hour is something we as Australian Football fans can only have and cherish. Come on Ange you beautiful thing!!!!!!!!
Adrian is totally correct in everything he said. Here in Australia Ange is held in high regard. It is in his dna to work out a way to win. His record shows that ... 6 titles. Be patient and get behind him.
Agree with you. If we look across all trophies his record is. - 4 x National Australian Titles - 1 x Asian Cup (only Australian coach to do this) - 1 x J League Title - 5/6 Scottish Trophies (2 x SPL Title) Total amount- 11 Trophies won. He is arguably one of the best Australian coaches of all time in any sport.
Great show as always lads! Follow spurs and this you tube channel religiously from Sth Australia. Its hardwork at times with the time difference. Big ups to Adrian, nearly fell off my chair when it was mentioned you're from Adelaide. Great analysis for 3am/4am on a Monday morning!
Like Adrian started following Spurs in 1981, it was probably Steve Archibald and Garth Crooks that got me hooked plus a young Hoddle and Waddle. Watching Match Of The Day Highlights on ABC delayed by week. Winning the FA Cup that year was a bonus. Adrian did a fantastic job and represented us Aussies well. COYS
Aussies must be good luck for Spurs😀I too flew out to London on holiday from Brisbane (QLD) Australia and attended my first ever Spurs match, Spurs v Everton. On that day Spurs thrashed Everton 4 nil. The atmosphere was electric and ever since I have been trying to convince the wife to move to London so I can go to every match home and away. What a great stadium, team and manager.
@ been there done that already 😉 Alas, not matter what I proposed the answer was no. Unless I can convince all the family to relocate there is no chance 🥺
Great stream, great panel, too many fair weather fans in our fanbase, far too much reactionary toxicity on TH-cam. Cheers Chris, great channel, win, lose or draw, we are Tottenham. Get behind the players and get behind the manager. Good times ahead ✊
This the happiest chat podcast for Spurs. I can also understand the happiness of the occasion. But the team has to press on with the same swerve. This is is only way to get to the top 4 or better. Let's not forget, we geat them by the same score. But they got into top4, & Champions League. We ended up into the Europa League. So press on with the same verves. Nothing less. If possible with more intent & purpose.
I think we are very lucky to have Ben Davies as a "sqaud player". He could eaisly be a regular starter for a lot of mid table-bottom half clubs in the Premier league. I have always liked him ever since he joined Spurs. It wouldn't surprise me if he becomes some sort of Spurs coach in the next few years if we manage to keep Ange as manager. (Also, Sarr is showing signs that he might become a proper top player.)
That was a great win. The "Ange out" brigade have been silenced. Both Ricky and Adrian's perspective on team growth really makes those people look red faced. Everyone is contributing. Sonny is such a game changer, Ange protecting him may mean we get to see son for years longer then perhaps we should.
Love the show! Agree with everything Adrian was saying and generally all of you. It’s great to listen to some level headed analytical fans that look deeper than just the click bait pundants and negative Nellie’s. Browny Port Fairy, VIC, Australia.
Closeout against Brighton, turn up against Palace & all of a sudden we're 3rd on the table 1 point off City & 3 off Liverpool. We outplayed Newcastle with no result. Same with the Gooners. This teams on the precipice of being something serious. Just need to tighten up those 1 percenters that are costing us.
The thing with Deki is that he is a bit slow for a winger, but is rapid as a midfielder, so has a point of difference. Sarr has grown into the season from a slow start. Madders is a great player, however has been poor on set pieces until today. His biggest issue is that he occupies Sonny's spaces while Deki operates on the right.
Im gonna start watching TV with the sound off until ange comes on ...forest was 3rd last time I looked those stats obviously don't mean much ...spurs traditionally had that mentality if you score 2 we will score 3 ...
I'd love to have the blind belief you have Adrian but unfortunately I looked up Ange's win % record where the Australians have lauded him {Brisbane Roar and Yokohama Marinos}... to my utter surprise Ange actually has a higher win % at Spurs than at both of those clubs 🤨
My glasses prescription is pretty strong and I’m quite blind without them, so you may be right about my blindness! Brisbane Roar won back to back titles and went 36 matches undefeated under Ange in his second and third seasons as coach. Two seasons later he was coaching the Australian national team. (Earlier in his career, Ange coached South Melbourne to back to back national titles in his second and third seasons as coach.) He coached Australia at a World Cup, then won the Asian Nations Cup and then qualified Australia for the next World Cup. Then he went to Yokohama Marinos and in his second season, took them to their first title in 15 years. None of this guarantees he will win anything at Tottenham. I’m loving the journey under Ange, though! I believe he’ll take Spurs to glory.
Spot on @rickyjnorwood, judge the team by the new season, different playing squad and coaches. Unlike Chris to drive the external narrative around set pieces 🥰 #coys🦘

What a superb guest Adrian was. Passionate, articulate and great representation for Adelaide Spurs supporters. 👍
You’re very kind. It was fun. Just telling it like it is!
From an Aussie living in Mexico, who lived through the Bne Roar transformation - Adrian is spot on in every element of this journey. In Ange we Trust!
Agreed 100%
More Adrian please Chris, he's great !! loving all the content at the moment.

Was interesting to hear what Adrian said 👍 well done lads ❤️
Ricky does say a bit but he speaks absolute sense, in a respectful way. Kudos.
Really loved Adrian’s takes. Get him on more
Good stuff Adrian, totally agreed with your thoughts on Spurs culture. From Melbourne and started following in 1980
Chris, please have our Aussie mate Adrian Tisato more often on your podcast depending on the Match Time, he's great 👍🦘🦘🦘🦘
I’m also from Melbourne and started following in 81 !! What a great few days it’s been as a Spurs’ fan :) Hoping for many more…

Adrian......following Ange and Spurs from Adelaide as well.
You beauty. COYS! Adelaide is the greatest city in the world.

Thanks Charles. One of my better monologues I feel this was. Sir Ian McKellen gave me some tips and it's fair to say I pulled it off magnificently.
@@craigdearman I truly feel that Spurs are the favourite team of the Artists/Thespians.
@@charles_preston Indeed. Adele, Kenneth Branagh, Chris Cowlin - to name but a few.
Levy seeing Ange pick the players he wants will surely be impressed so should back him next summer into whatever he needs
that cross from Son was pretty good.. He still has it at 32
Loved the win. Also loved the fact that Woolwich lost.

Great comment! Thank you! Port Fairy is a magical place. Mystical entrance to the Great Ocean Road. Such a great community down there.
So nice to see ricky after win...
Solanke has been superb, credit to Ange who is the one who wanted him.
So did I 😂
