I have relatives that served all the way back to the Revolutionary War. I don’t know about the Revolutionary War, but none died in service to the country that l know of. I know the families that do the pain is great and things will never be the same. My dad is a Korean era veteran, my brother was in for 20 years and saw action in Grenada, Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was in airborne infantry 15 years. We would not be able to live as we do if not for all the veterans, especially the ones who gave their lives for freedom.
Great to hear your story about your "great uncle". Hope you pass along the legacy and history on to your son. Sad to many folks today do not know the true value of knowing history.
Thank you both for remembering those who have served. From me - I am a Vietnam Vet from 1965 to 1972. Jet Engine Mechanic on B-52, KC135, F-100 etc. Enjoy the things you two do so have a good time.
Thank you for your service
To all who have served and paid the ultimate price god bless you. Those old tractors are almost indestructible. Thank you for sharing.👍
Great video ! Wallace Family it is not easy . Tyler you know some of my struggles ! Love you all !
Place stacks between tomato plants and weave string around every other one that’s the way we do it makes it easier and faster go up then back, good luck 👍
Thank you for sharing your family’s stories,we should all remember and share and retell those stories for generations! Love your channel!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your Memorial day perspective. God Bless!❤️🇺🇸🙏
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the relatives of you guys at Wallace Farm and Sawmills who bravely fought and sacrificed their lives in the protection of our country and its freedoms. Their courage and dedication are not only a testament to their personal valor but also a profound gift to all of us who enjoy the liberties they fought to preserve.
Their sacrifice is a poignant reminder of the cost of freedom and the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity. We honor their memory and their commitment to ensuring that future generations can live in peace and security. Your family's legacy of service and patriotism is an inspiration to us all.
Thank you for your immense contributions and for continuing to uphold the values and freedoms they fought so valiantly to protect.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Yesterdays tractor is a really good source for parts for older tractors and they're reasonably priced.
Wallace Farm and Sawmill, This is so fun! I'm happy I found your channel!
Looks like a Ford 221 disc. It is a nice disc and well built.
Great story Tyler. Hope your Tractor Supply has more than ours! Ours has less than one aisle of tractor stuff and very little actual tractor parts. The bike is looking really good! 👍👍👍
God bless all the men and women who served. My uncle was a marine and got shot up in Vietnam, but made it home. My grandfather was a merchant marine in WW2 on a ship that towed the Exeter into port after a sea battle. Your place is looking fantastic. Keep up the good work and, when are you going to be doing some circle sawing again? Love you 2 and hope to see many more videos. Jeff from Lebanon PA.
That Jubilee purrs like a kitten when the fuel is flowing smooth. Very nice!
Yes indeed!
Prune the bottom of your tomato plants at least 6 to 8 inches to help keep the worms off.
Enjoyed watching your day, glad to know others have days like myself. I'm retired (74) and seems that my days go from what I intended to do, to what takes priority after I get started. Anyway Good to see you working to feed your family and using the family farm to make a living. God Bless keep turning them out.
Love the channel and the glimpse into your family’s history.
First of all I would like to touch on the weather, I know y'all are in Northern Mississippi but I'm just North of Baton Rough and it reached 103 degrees today and the weather says it was the hottest Memorial Day on record.
The next is I had a Nephew that served in the Iraqui that passed away active duty at the age of 21 so Memorial Day means A LOT to me also.
I had a 60 model it wasn't a jubilee it was a workmaster same problem that governor carburetor an bowl was a constant problem. We put up with that for 30 years it never got any better.
I'am Canadian we must never forget their sacrifices our family ,went through what your did good watching and now fix the tractor for Miss Brit lol
The best way to find tomato worms is at night with a black light flashlight.they will glow almost white.
Loved to hear the family history, thanks for sharing.
Wonderful story. Thanks for sharing because it means more - that this is a farm from your family.
Thank you for the memorial day tribute. Both my sons served in the Iraq conflict 3 years lost of my life worrying. One in Marines for 2 Iraq tours and one in Army. The youngest in Marines contacted MS as a result of the chemicals that were not there. He is in semi remission now but he just had his second flare-up that put him in hospital. Thanks for your patriotism. Oh BTW our dove field we used to plant on the farm in South TN we used a mixcalled doves a plenty. Don't know if still around. A mix of millet, sunflower, and others I can't remember. Always planted memorial day. Cut 10 weeks before season for hay. Baled round bales for cover and fed them to the cows after first week. Lol. Sorry so long.
Cut 10 days. Sorry
LOVE THAT 53 FORD TRACTOR!
Very interesting to learn about your family and how you came about your farm. Thanks for sharing.
Use the tomato worms for fish bait
Thanks for sharing your family history, it was very moving.

Happy Memorial Day to you and Britt.❤😎😇☝️👏⚙️⛓️🪚🌲🌳🪵🪵🚜😎❤🇺🇸
Thanks for another great upload!!!! Awesome history on the family farm!!
If you find tomato worms on your plants, pull them off and feed them to your chickens.
Hello from Mississippi
I put a st el in the drain in the bottom of compressor then put a pipe nipple long enough to put a valve so it is easy to drain water out of the tank
Nice its made in the USA
Guys I like the Dewalt compressor. Love the old Ford model. I have driven one of those when it wasn’t so old! Keep the content coming!
Great video as always. Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸
All projects like at least three trips to town
Love your videos and hard work you both put in your farm as well
That looks like a good air compressor for a shop.
Every shop needs a dolly.
I am a 5 to 7 trip plumber. thanks for the video!
Thank you sooo much for sharing a bit of your family history with us. I loved hearing that about your great uncle. He had great foresight being a young man as you said. I wouldn't be able to enjoy videos of Wallace Farm & Sawmill, had it not been for him.
Hey, I'm not a huge fan of Billy Ray Cyrus, but he got it right with these lyrics of one of his songs from years ago: 🎼"All gave some, some gave all ♥️
God bless, laters ☺️👍
I've got a 2600 Ford that does not want to be choked at all.dust your tomato plant as soon as you see any sign of tomato worms.i order organic dust on line.couple of cans a year usually does it.also use it on potatoes as well.army 72 to 75 during Vietnam.
looking good so old school love it
7 dust on tomatoes plants will keep worms off, I have alot of them here in Virginia myself
It's several trips to town when I have plumbing problems!
My dad used his GI loan to buy our farm. He took 2 bullets from a Kamakazi plane while aboard his ship. 1 bullet in his left arm and one just about an inch from his heart. I would sit in his lap when I was a little boy and touch the scars left by the bullets. 1 of my uncles lost a leg in a prison war camp . My dads brother served in the Korean war and my cousin lost both legs and both arms when he stepped off the boat in Vietnam.
So the song that either Merle or Waylon sang "If you are gona take a Knee then Take a Hike" means a lot to me. I was thinking just this morning even though folks are enjoying the holiday the meaning of Memorial Day is lost. We now live in a generation where 20 year olds Must have a $1000 cell phone $500 concert ticket and $9 cup of coffee and refuse to pay their own student loans. Your great uncle was a great example of an American. 20 year olds now are Good Bad examples of Americans. Thanks for taking time to share the story with us.
What a wonderful tribute to you family member. My gratitude to your family and the sacrifice they had to endure to ensure of our freedoms today
Have you ever used Sevin Dust on your tomato plants. It comes in powder and liquid spray form. My mamaw always used the dust/powder in her garden. She used it on most everything she grew.
I use it on my rose bushes.
I don't have a place to have a garden. If you decide to use it, make sure you are not gonna have rain for a day or two especially if you use the dust.
The spray dries pretty quickly. But rain will eventually wash it off. Don't wait for signs of worms or bugs if you decide to try it out. Go ahead and dust them now.
My mamaw put the dust in an old flour sack and walked down the row shaking the dust out of the sack in each plant.
Just a thought
Love you guys and your videos!
We use seven! I will go ahead and use it. We always waited till sign but maybe that’s a bad idea!
@@wallacefarmandsawmill proactive from the start.
So many nowadays seem to take their freedom for granted, never forget
If you spray your tomatoes with baking soda it helps keeping bugs off
Who is the beautiful girl behind those foster grants LOL corn is looking awesome. We had a john Deere, allice Chalmers and a ford just like yours on our dairy farm. later in life kabuto was one of my largest customers. Tyler you danced well with the tank especially without music ))) Our neighbors farm had over 200 acres of tomato plants Needless to say we did not have to plant tomato's. Most of his acreage was rented..
Dad was in Korea and suffered lifelong disability. We lost him finally at age 91.
Thanks guys!
That air compressor is some pretty serious money!
Thank you for the military history and for your family that faithfully served.
Get some black cow from tractor supply and put it around those tomato plants and will grow some awesome tomatoes.
Honor and respect always
It took me 3 trips to town for all the fittings I needed to install my hose reel.
I’m making my 3rd now! Lol
Too many projects require multiple runs to the stores. Thankfully I have 3 hardware stores in 3 miles and lowes and home depot at 8 miles.
Awesome story
Just disc your field again maybe go in opposite direction it will smooth out
Father was a helicopter pilot, Fort Rucker Alabama, 3 tours
We as a close family have lost A brother and his wife were Vietnam Era Veterans. They are both buried now in the past 4 years. And we just lost another brother to Cancer ♋️ 3 weeks ago. 😢 😢😢
You should name your camper bus “ The Miss Brittany”, love to watch your video keep up the good work.
THANKS!

Some days your the Dog some days your the Hydrant

My Father was a WW2 Army Veteran and served in South Korea with the Occupational Forces after Japan surrendered.
He passed last year in March, 1 month before his 97th Birthday.

I'm in
One of my best friends served in Korea and he was a bull strong cement man in later years. Long story short, he came to alaska where I lived and we became friends and shared many stories. I served in Nam in the late sixties, came home to work as a mechanic. So his knowledge of cement and my mechanical skills worked as a good marriage in a way I guess... not a gay way tho. I know that feeling of loss and have been angry most all of my life and it ruined my marriage to my wife and kids. After our divorce, I stayed single and just worked on anything with nuts and bolts. I am not sure if your clutch needs a bit of adjustment or the throw out bearing is just worn out and not doing its job as it should not jerk when you place it in gear. Its hard to get to on most of those tractors as the hose that made it easier to grease would rot off or get removed and so not get its grease like it needs. Remember a little goes a long ways as you don't need it all over the plate or flywheel. Your in some of the finest dirt as you see it going from one acre to the next when the wind is blowing while plowing. I hate war as its all politics and they should fight in these wars, maybe they wouldn't want to toss us in so quick.... mind you, I would still fight if needed but at near seventy five and crippled, I best keep making the coffee for those who still can. I keep thinking of some kind of preditor bug that likes to eat those pesky worms your fighting. Natural ways always seem the best and when we upset nature, things just get out of hand. Maybe some kind of bird that doesn't enjoy the tomatoes might be the ticket but I guess sharing a few tomatoes might still be okay provided the ones that are still good go on the table, others feed the pigs, and the rest go back into the soil or compost. I have always been a fan of rabbit or cow manure... chickens are a tad hot but it can be soaked in water to dilute it down and hand water around the plants. I see your garden is okay with out any tunnels or covers although they do have some kinds of benefits also. I did enjoy hearing your story of family and how much it means to you all. You also might consider a umbrella for your tractor as its mighty hot where you live. I enjoy about five or more days of hot weather and then it takes the sap out of me. I may of been born in N. Carolina but alaska is now my home.... we all seem to wind up somewhere for a reason and my reasons are not so clear to me but there must a been one
Our son did two combat tours in Iraq with the Marines and I sometimes think it's almost as bad onthe parents as it is on the soldiers. His company lost more men then any company in that useless war then any other company A&E did a special on them called "Lima Company " on a lighter comment tell Brittney to keep her thumbs out of the steering wheel. Have fun and stay safe!
Oh, and one more thing, how do you keep the deer out of your garden. We had cut worms on early tomato plants.
My 1946 ford tractor I'm working on
Brittany looks so much prettier with blonde hair. It makes her smile brighter
KEEP YOUR THUMBS ON THE OUTSIDE OF STEERING WHEEL.. IF YOU DON'T YOU COULD VERY EASILY BREAK A THUMB WHEN WHEEL SPINS ON YOU!Not as bad on spread front wheels but still be careful.
In the early 1960high school grad it’s went to war they ones from 2024 cod not handit
I am Dutch, our Memorial Day is the 4 of may, don’t do the joke.. We thank everyone that day for our freedom! Not much land to own, not much land to give.. Not so nice today, stupid people everywhere..
IN KY OUR TOMATOS DONT TURN OUT GOOD UNLESS YOU PUT SOME EPSON SALTS AROUND IT, PEPPERS THE SAME THING, I'M NOT A GREAT GARDENER, BUT YOUR DIRT WILL VARY A LOT
How about mounting an American flag on the property in your uncles honor.
Ay least South Korea is a democracy helped by American and aliy soldiers but Vietnam became a disaster betraying American sacrifices in men and material.....
WTF. You guys look to young to have a 12 year old.
