At 57:45, that's the recent bridge that collapsed in Baltimore.
Yupp thats the key bridge and I've rode across it many, many times. Such a tragedy.
Congrats on your new rig. Looking forward to watching this 😊🙌
"That is American Airlines punctuality as we want to see it." Yes, so do we! This was more like German punctuality! 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well, us Germans not only delay the aircraft, we directly delay the entire airport
Great video, like always! Just want to help you pronounce LaGuardia from a born and rise New Yorker lol LaGuardia is Luh-Gwaar-dee-uh. Hope I was able to help. Take care and see you on the next video ✌🏼
Thanks for the video Mr Emanuel
I've found customising the AutoFPS settings to give more detail works well. Keeps the visual quality up until just before final when you need to smoothness. Also if you are running at 1440p you can probably bump up the res scale. I have it at 150% with a 4080 as MSFS is more CPU heavy and there is GPU power to spare. Makes the shadows and textures look much more crisp. I think I also maxed out the shadow settings etc. I used to guide on the MSFS forums to raise settings which are GPU dependant to the point where the GPU was being uitlised adequately (but not overloaded).
The reasoning for the display flickering is because of frame generation. Even though 40-series cards are AI beasts, it is still not perfect. What I understand is that AI has a hard time drawing the same image twice so it flickers a bit. If you turn off frame generation it should go away, but then again why bother with such minimalistic problems and have your frames cut by half. Hope you found this message somewhat useful and I hope you have a great day!
Emi, great vid, I have been taking a break from tube liners and flying Business jets and props. It has been such a great time. Longi, Vision/Honda jet, TBM 830 and both the black square king air and 850. So much fun. Something about cruising at 450 in the bus jets is just sweet. :)
Nice. I just made an unplanned upgrade to a new PC a few weeks ago - my cat knocked my old tower off my desk during a rather spirited case of the zoomies. While it's nowhere near the powerhouse yours is, I went from a 2070 Super/i7 9700k to a 4070/i7 14700k, and MSFS runs buttery-smooth for me in 4k with a mix of high-end/ultra settings. Much better than it did on my old system at any resolution and anything above medium settings.
Great video as always, it will be nice if you make a video sharing your graphic settings please.
Congratulations on your new computer!!!!!!!!
Great video. I learned something new!
If you fly in and out of NYC in your sim a lot I’d recommend samscene NYC and RKbridger NYC Bridges. Must have for NYC flights.
Totally agree. They’re both awesome
Still waiting for that apology video for that controller. I guess your ego doesn’t believe one is required, so that’s enough of me watching this channel.
He doesn't need to apologize, the controller was an ass, he reacted accordingly.
Same, don't get the problem here. So many VATSIM "wannabe controllers" have a god complex and it is so frustrating. He is absolutely right here.
Do yall understand that vatsim is volunteered and absolutely no one gets paid as well as 90% of the controllers having no irl experience? He should not be upset for a controller who has no irl experience and is doing this as a hobby.
People love to make statements, that others can hear, don't they? Just move on.
If you don't like it, just don't watch it and don't act like a crybaby! 😂😂😂😂
Love it Emmanuel. I just upgraded to a new MB, 14900K and already had the 4090. I have 64gb ram but dont think it would make that much diff between that and 48gb. So far I have everything maxed including Terrain and Object LOD. The only thing that will start to bog it down is if I advance the top slider past 150. I am running 3-32" 2K monitors so dont need it really past 100. Enjoy bro, I know I have been so far. Big diff from my I9-9900k. Such a bottleneck.
Going to try this on my new PC. Not too spec, but reasonable.
Your mic settings seem to have changed. You're on the top of what your mic can do without getting distorted and when you change to the outside view, where you talk louder, it gets really bad.
FINAL APPROACH POINT (FAP) (USA) - “The point, applicable only to a non-precision approach with no depicted FAF (such as an on-airport VOR), where the aircraft is established inbound on the final approach course from the procedure turn and where the final approach descent may be commenced. The FAP serves as the FAF and identifies the beginning of the final approach segment.” On a side note, the RW19 River Visual is still commonly used. At least it’s often in the real world ATIS (it is as I write this). Can’t speak to how it’s programmed or flown.
very nice vid and very happy for you!
i do have the same requirements as you for the life of the pc: needs to hold up for 5 years. Mine is 4 years old now and if i'm lucky i'll change it next year!
I’m not sure if you have the IniBuilds program but there are GSX profiles you can install. The program should find the airports you have installed and will provide the profile if one is available. 😊
What do you mean: there is a program that keep tracks of GSX profiles, so one doesn't have to look for them manually?
@@maczetamaczeta189 I think it’s called the Inibuilds Content Manager. If you buy scenery from Inibuilds you need that to install. The GSX profiles are from RW Profiles.
@@maczetamaczeta189he probably meant ini managers feature for gsx profile
@@BruhBruh-mk5yg I figured but app that actually track them from various, different sources and then installing directly to correct folder would be awesome.
Hello, Captain, good day. Can you give me the name of the program that you use inside the iPad of the Phoenix planes to withdraw the flight from the simulator, because it differs from the basic program to enter the plane?
Hi Emi, You said that you don't have GSX profile for the airport and you're not sure how gsx is going to push you back. I wonder why didn't you use "customize pushback" option. You could have plan your push back as you want
Are you using a trackpad or a mouse? It sounds soo satisfying in the video :D
What traffic injector did you use or was this VATSIM?
Do you use rolling cache on msfs? if so how big do u have your set at
You should show the FPS counter so we can see how well this new PC can push!!
Great video!!! Why did you taxi with pack 2 off? is there an advantage or is it for something else.
Nice video glad see all is working well. I use Auto FPS sometimes but not always. It’s useful tool for sure and very clever. Maybe it be a feature for PC in msfs 2024. You remembered the lights for walk around 😮
hahaha, rare but it happens!
computer performance looks awesome. BTW, you pronounce it La Guardia, with the emphasis on the U.
How expensive was your PC?
Nice video. I have a question about equipment. I am planning to build a home cockpit (mainly for A320): 3 x 55" TV (max 2k displayed), two touch screens on PFD, ECAM etc. so that it can be universally used as TBM 850 and some peripherals such as FCU, MCDU, maybe Stream Deck. Can the RTX 3080 handle it or do I need to think about changing the graphics?
Inibuilds should have the GSX profile for LGA available through their app
Enjoy your top of the line PC as long as you can. Tech. moves quick these days and it never lasts as long as long as you’d like. I upgraded everything during the 3090 cycle, couldn’t afford to again during the 4090 cycle and will probably spend way too much again when the 5000 series comes out.
It can't be long until the 777 comes out 😅
Great video as always, I’m also planning a new build as I’m running on a laptop rn… I’m planning a Ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4070,32 gb of ram. Would this be a good combo?
Every time he finishes doing a task in the sim he always follows with these phrases: “Okay then!, Alright then!, What an idiot!, Okay so!” 😂
😂😂😂
Sorry but have a quick question on MCDU. I’m doing arrivals into EFHK from simbrief and I get an entry MANUAL followed by disc. I usually just clear this out it’s a gap between the arrival and the ILS. Is this a bug in Simbrief or does this happen in RL with ATC instructions ?
For me in sim it’s not difficult but I wondered proper way to deal with it
This is all normal. Compare the chart with the FMS and you'll see the MANUAL leg equals a vector leg on the procedure.
I covered this topic here: th-cam.com/video/aG2NuogmcoM/w-d-xo.html
@@A330Driver thx for link you made a lot of videos by now 😀
1:09:07 own experience: it also looks close from inside the building
Are the AAL placards etc included in the livery?
Yes they are
Great video. Could the flickering be reflections of the APU exhaust?
Unlikely, the APU exhaust should only cover the area right behind the airplane.
We are really curious about your Nvidia and Sim settings, captain.
Coming up when I finallized them, promised!
Are you still using AutoFPS?
Can you pls show your fps in a future video maybe
Nice approach - I do enjoy watching you fly and the way it comes so second nature. It is obvious that you are a true professional.
Why do u have to tell your name everytime you make a video ?? 🤣🤣
you have water cooling ?
Where is the cross the pond live video?? 😥
Can we know the cost of your full pc too please?
4500€, paid 2500 for the RTX4090 last year and now 2000 for the rest of the system update.
@@A330DriverWe saw the livestream. Shame on your behavior.
@tapiocamango give it a rest that literally happens all the time on both the controller side and pilot side every one calls everyone idiots
Dont apologize! Am tired of people getting offended by anything and needing an apology for it.
+1 Exactly. So disgusting.
BuT tHe InTeRnEt MoB hAs SpOkEn?
Especially if they are getting offended on other people's behalf. They make it into a full-time hobby. If the controller wants an apology, he can ask for it himself, and all the random nobodys coming in demanding an apology certainly doesn't deserve one.
Well. Calling someone an idiot for nothing and then ignoring the matter - I think it’s even more funny that you guys defend this behavior. But fanboys being fanboys. As always.
@@Bimmer_i4_M50why are you here then? What’s the purpose?
Awesome! You should post some Blog videos of you in a real cockpit and show us how its done too, would be a cool and a LOT of real world pilots do that too!
The little girls that are in the Threshold and Reddit chats really need to get lives. It blows my mind how a hobby like flight sim can be so full of people that think they know everything. And people who can’t separate how a person acts in flight sim compared to real life. Don’t let anybody pressure you into apologizing. If the clowns at threshold want to get so offended than let them, it’s not your fault they FIND reasons to get upset. Once this is all blown over they’ll target somebody else or find another reason to cry.
That’s reddit for you
Little girls? Are you 12?
first!!!
😍😍😍
Your vids are the best!!
Thank you!
