Thank you Paul glad to see you got your energy to plant your garlic great video. I have just planted my garlic and onions. Great start to new growing season.
Glad to have got my garlic and broad beans in as the rain has just been constant, I want to plant out some winter beetroot, but need a couple of dry days.
Paul, just an FYI . The plantain is a very good herbal medicine. Both internally and externally. I harvest it all the time and use it both ways. Your garlic looks good. See you.
My mojo disappeared in February when my wife took poorly, time at the allotment's has been reduced and she had her major surgery around the Malvern weekend so wasn't able to go. The weather hasn't helped this season but had some good results. I don't envy anyone who has to work on beds so low down and like you have said timber is so hard to get for free to maintain them. Hand weeding Alliums is a must because of the roots, I have a litter picker to help with weeding in those awkward places. Those big planes seem to move so slowly through the air, how do they stay up. Great to catch up with you Paul. Nice bit of waffling too........😁. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
I like listening to you waffle it's always interesting 😊 I saw garlic at the week in a local garden nurseries....wish I had bought some now...I'll try the range down the road and get some if they have any.
Good Luck to you and all of us for next year's garden!! I'm going to plant my garlic this week. Need to get the bed ready. I get the seed garlic from the orgainic garlic farm about an hour from my house. I have some to plant but going tomorrow to see if I can get a bit more ; ) They close for the season this coming weekend. Never tried broad beans or overwinter peas. May have to try those also.
Paul you need to cut yourself some slack…with all of that rain and cooler temps most of us would have trouble finding our mojo. Great job planting the garlic and fingers crossed next year will bring a bountiful harvest. 😊
Garlic planting- I 'm using saved cloves from this year's crop. I usually do it most years, and find I get a good crop as the garlic has grown to my soil type and location. Happy gardening 🙂
It is warming up here in Tassie and I'm full of energy. While checking seeds and other gardening stuff I found a huge bag of gardening mojo - I'll send it your way, Paul!
I must say Paul my seedlings struggled this year and germination was poor, along with all the other problems we all had with the low light levels. Anyway, have a good week!
September did fly by. At least you got your garlic mojo back and I think the change to the fall season makes a lot of us feel low energy for awhile. 🧄🧄🧄🧄

Your beet root looked delicious. And watching you plant garlic make me want to do the same. Hello also to Richard. Hope you both stay well

Will you be supplying Vivvi with Calendula so she can make Richards Vivvi balm? As for mojo mine has totally gone…hoping it finds me soon.
Paul, while you search for your mojo, keep an eye out for my marbles please? 😝 And my get up and go has got up and went! Xx
I said the same, seeds aren't germinating if at all....waste of time and money. I will also be using seed compost or even top soil.
Will the Nigella overwinter?
Yep... unless we get an unusually harsh winter. 👍😊👍
