There is a greek phrase for "Добро утро":
"Καλή πρωία" literally means"Good morning" but modern greeks do not use it often.
Πρωί (neutral), Πρωία (feminine).
I was thinking about the use of the word "scary". In the US we sometimes use the word "wicked". It's not quite as popular these days but still used a lot in our north east states.

That's fair enough mate, but if you're interested I'd definitely recommend learning Cyrillic, it's a lot easier than you'd think! I used a book called 'Learn to Read Bulgarian in Five Days'.
I am greek and we do not actually say day. Kalimera is separated into 2 words: Kali which means good and mera which means day

No, it doesn't sound like an "a", it's always "o". If you still need it.

There is too much garnishing in English .
"Казвам се Дария" е звучащото естествено на български език; "Аз съм Дария" е (все още) доста неестествено, привнесено от английски. В българския език не се прави тъй пряко отъждествяване между човека и неговото име както е в английския.

Both are valid translations, check any dictionary.

@@PeterSchneemann No, you would say good morning. From 12pm you can say good afternoon. While good day is a more literal translation for добър ден than good afternoon, it isn't used much in English.
@Kris Smith So even if the dictionaries say that dobar den can be translated as good afternoon, that is not always the correct translation, especially if you say shortly before noon
As you said, the direct translation is not used much, and the other translations are not 100% equivalent to the meaning in Bulgarian
(Note: Good afternoon is not used in Canada either)

This isnt real. some of the words she's saying arent right like "dobar den" means literally good day and not good afternoon den means day and will be never used as afternoon please dont follow these channels that are related to this one its false and will confuse you on the long run if you follow what they say
It's sort of like that there. I mean what is said and what is meant?
I have also run into contractions. For example: Kvopravish? This is said like it is one word, or it sounds like it because I am still not up to speed. But it is Kakvo pravish? What are you doing?

@@laurenwright76 No, it doesn't, it literally means "good day" and we usually start using it some time around 11 am (or even earlier around 10 am) to probably 5 - 6 pm depending on whether it's still light outside. Then we start saying "dobar vecher" or "good evening". "Leka nosht" is only used when someone's going to bed. If you wanna wish "have a good evening/night" as a parting phrase, you'd say "leka vecher".
She just said it could also mean good day-
"КАКЪВ" е телефонният ти номер? е неправилно; правилното е "КОЙ е телефонният ти номер". Първият въпрос е просторечив, некнижовен. Въпросителното местоимение "какъв" пита за някакво КАЧЕСТВО на предмета, а не за СЪЩИНАТА му.
