I think my brain is just too small to understand completely what Cziffra was capable of doing in these improvisations. After seeing a few of them, it seems that he does have a few repeating types of tropes under his sleeve just like most jazz improvisers have, but nevertheless this was someone with an almost uncanny (at least to me) and encyclopedic understanding of the relationship of key signatures to the actual keys.
