I’ve pronounced suicune like “sweet” all this time, but thinking about it, Fitzy’s first pronunciation makes the most sense. The rai in Raikou means lightning, the en in Entei means fire, and water in Japanese is “sui,” so Suicune being pronounced that way seems about right.

@@lingx8888 Not really. Not anymore at least. The Sombra rework, the buff, to EMP's silence duration, AND the s9 changes which made Kiriko much less lethal (no two-tap) have balanced out their match up really well. Trading Virus for Suzu is a massive win for Sombra in the cooldown wars, cause Virus has no conditionals to its value, unlike the hack damage bonus pre-rework. For this same reason, since Sombra isn't reliant on targets being hacked for her kill threat, using Suzu on EMP gets little value unless you use the invulnerability to DODGE emp, or Kiriko hides to cleanse her team. Kiriko is also easier to hit at midrange now bc of the bigger hitboxes on Sombra's gun, which is a range in which Kiriko is slightly less lethal.
They are preeeetty even now, in my opinion. Brig is a better Sombra deterrent than Kiriko is.
@AquaAmazake depends on which role you play. On tanks, D.va eats sombra alive. She can spycheck indefinitely and has the easiest time chasing her translocator escapes. Zarya has the potential to save targets from Virus, but it's not an amazing use of her bubbles. Orisa kinda doesn't care about Sombra.
On DPS, Torb's turret alone can counter 65% of Sombra's gameplan, he's really hard to kill, and has big burst damage on top. Mei and Reaper are also decent at defending themselves from her bc of Wraith/Cryo and tanky HP bars, but keep in mind she can disable both of their ults.
On supports, Brig is your best bet, just glue your ass to your other support and be Bruce Willis for them. The armor and extra HP make her really hard to kill for Sombra, just don't feed in the frontline, cause a well-timed hack will devastate you. Moira is okay at defending herself and escaping, but as you saw in this Fitzy clip, she can still get spawnkilled. She also can't spycheck Sombra unless she's within detection range, and her ult can get hacked. Kiriko is still a good pick vs Sombra, but it's 100% a skill match-up between the two. You can't just swap to Kiriko and win against Sombra anymore, but you definitely are able to contest her if you hit kunai crits.
Also Winston. If you translocate and he has his lap, he can easily chase you.
