diver was the final character with which i cleared D5, possibly because i stubbornly stuck with the harpoon gun for the entire run. your strat seems to be superior!
By wave 10 it sure looked like your damage was not scaling fast enough.
Flamethrower wasnt better? It shoots faster and piercies, u ignored one
Flamethrower wouldn't work - for the diver damage bonus to take effect, it needs to be a weapon that scales with the ranged damage stat.
