Let me just say this. The television situation was just so…so stupid
Segregationist Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race. Kind of big news.
to be fair to NBC, they did have a huge news story to react to.
Now that I have been fair to them, how in the world does the same network that screwed up the Heidi Game make this decision here knowing that they would be done in a half hour. Push the newscast. This isn't 1994 when you had to be in the same slot every time to see news. Everyone who wanted your analysis of the Biden decision either 1) had already seen it on social media, 2) would have waited the 15 minutes it took to finish the race (which could have led to an opportunity to hook new fans), or both.
If I'm one of the Steves, I'm furious with NBC.
Haven’t they done that twice now ?
I agree, so tired of NBC constantly switching the CUP race to a different channel. You'd never see this with an NFL game in the 4th quarter with the teams tied and 1 min left on the clock lol
@@Continuum7 And you will NEVER see this happen with an NFL game. NBC is NASCAR's Daddy.
I've never been more angry at a TV network. Unfucking believable for people who record the race.
@@danharp7273 I got surfing competition at the moment of the best part of NASCAR today. People complain about fox, but that was waaaaaaaaaay worse
@@danharp7273 wtf was that shirt! Right! I feel ya
I always record the race to watch. Later, I was out working the fields , listening on the radio like I always do and watched it later and can't be more mad at a network!
Yeah I watch the races recorded and I was so mad, with the 25 min break right before the green flag and the cutting of the last OT, it’s so frustrating to have to go on TH-cam to watch the highlights to see the ending.
It was important news, but they already interrupted the pre-race to announce the Joe Biden news. The rest of the story could have waited 15 more minutes!
I was so mad the TV went to the news right when overtime happened
Yeah, for "breaking news" that was hours old at that point. I'd rather see the end of the race instead of hearing one more news story about the crypt keeper quitting.
If NASCAR doesn't follow the laws they create. Then they should change the rules. Lower the amount of overtime attempts, explain that you will wave off the restart if that happens again, and make the white line a black and white rule!
They did make the line Black and White. dont go on the racing surface is as clear as it gets
Lower the amount of overtime attempts to zero. They're fucking stupid and just let totally undeserving drivers win races.
if I had a nickel for every time Ryan Preece spun on an overtime that had him not able to refire and nascar didn’t throw a caution when he spun making a controversial finish in July I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
Ryan Preece we need a caution ⚠️ Okay!!
Should be in xfinity series
@@ludabam241Should be in the weekly series. Bro shouldn’t even touch the top 4 series.
But someone scraps the wall and continues on and they throw a caution so inconsistent.
Kyle larson was involved in BOTH of those cautions also !!!! This time he was on the winning side but yes its very interesting
Hopefully people realize Todd Gilliland is doing really well and not a failure as many said. This year he keeps surprising with good runs top 15s top 10s and getting closer to the top 20ish in points. So hopefully can see his talent but no one talks of him.
And the IMS announcers need to use his correct name, Todd, not David! It just didn’t happen once, it was several times.
He’s almost beating Busch and RCR in points. That’s incredible
I’m not surprised. It’s the usual now and I love it.
@@connorbingel7134 Hardly, RCR has always been outclassed and it's been made more apparent now that Chevy isn't updating their bodyshell and the teams are no longer building their own cars
FRM has just been going up since the start of this era, they'll be a consistent contender in less than a handful of years
@@Holly2017Rascal They actually called Kyle Busch Kurt 1 time.
Let’s just cut overtime if we have no problem with finishing with a caution
Right? The whole point of that is because we all hated finishing under yellow. We even went to unlimited tries because we hated only having 3. Its so confusing.
Totally agree. I NEVER had a problem with a race finishing under caution.
@@ASennaFanafter this weekend's race. I want it to be that way.
Im usually the last person to comment on NASCARS officiating, but I feel like todays race, from start to finish, was just a complete mess
We had a NASCAR party and every one was screaming for a caution at the end
Everyone was. Even Larson probably was it was that obvious lmao
I'm a Larson fan and even I feel like that was a caution. I also feel like that restart should've been called off cause neither one of them knew what to do with literal seconds til the green.
More proof that NASCAR fans dont like racing, they like chaos.
@@Bak3dGamingYTagree because Blaney should of been able to pick the bottom. He went from 2nd to 1st, to 2nd over again in like 4 seconds , they should of RERACKED THEM, after 1 more caution lap !!!
I’m a Larson fan and I’m pissed about it. No consistency from nascar whatsoever. They just didn’t want to have another Nashville situation but in the end we all got robbed. I thought the whole point of the overtime system was to minimize the chances of ending on a caution.
we almost had fuel strategy save us from what was been a dirty-air, hard-to-pass, mid-ahh race… instead we get no big nbc, a crashyard, and L officiating ending
It was a W race before the finish imo
Race would have been so much better if their wasn’t any late cautions

Plus it wasn't even on peacock
Wasn’t pleased that it was moved to USA network
NASCAR needs to send NBC packing.
Fox to NHRA...we don't have anything important to cut to at 7pm so if you want to finish the race here we're all for it

Also on NBC the camera turned off and the Chanel went black for like 15 seconds. Which sucked
the group chat i was in went wild
The whole broadcast is glitching multiple times as well
@@connortremmel yeah the helicam had half the screen flashing
Nascar ruined the race, no consistency with the rules. Granted, if Richmond is any indication, Nascar does in fact play favorites. Call it rigged if you want. This is the precedent Nascar chose with their rules enforcement.
It seems
1. Nascar officiating needs an overhaul. Too many inconsistent decisions, it changes every week, identical things happen but get called differently each race, even the drivers today couldn’t keep up with the rules nascar enforces, leading to frustrating outcomes as viewers. And unfortunately the calls trend towards the similar drivers and teams which is a whole different topic
2. As a KB fan, I’m at a loss for words at how his season has gone, top 5 in his hands, and he crashed again while just trying to get the best out of his car. So many great finishing positions lost.
ur just mad kb sucks
What sucks most is this race wont be remembered for an all time historic downright Hof worhty drive out of the 5. It will be remembered for mutuple controversy's that helped the 5, truly frustrating
HOF worthy of drive? Everyone was saving fuel and off the pace by multiple seconds while he had extra fuel and was able to go 100% 😂😂😂

Really sad how all the hype behind the first Brickyard 400 in years was marred by skipping the pre race for "breaking news" Gray area blend line violations, which sounds like teams weren't told what they couldn't do, then slapped on the wrist for it, and Larson was skirting on the same thing and probably barely went on to the surface, and a rule that you can't pass the leader before the restart line unless you think youre the leader or unless you're the 5, cutting the race on NBC short due to "breaking news" again which in my region was just an buildup to the olympics infomercial, for a solid lap, just black coverage, half the screen not working when transitioning to USA, and the postponed caution till Larson got the white. So quick it went from an amazing fuel saving finish to controversy. I still wish the see the Brickyard again next year but NBC should be utterly embarrassed by the extreme poor quality of their broadcast this week. Larson definitely deserved to win, it would have been nice for him to legitimately win. After this week, NASCAR can no longer deflect the Larson/Hendrick favoritism allegations.
Larson went as the restart zone ended , there is no line . .
Did you say that about the half a dozen races that ended the same way ?! Or were those legitimate unless it's Kyle Larson!??
@@truckercowboyed2638He crossed the start line ahead of Blaney - LARSON PENALTY TIME!!!! Ultimate truth!!!!!!!!!! ( LARSON also crossed blend line earlier in race - but NO PENALTY!!!)
I felt the exact same way about when Hamlin jumped the restart, even though I like Hamlin. It's not specifically because Larson won, as I said Larson deserved to win, just when races like this end illegitimately, it just puts a bad image on the sport. Also, it doesn't need to have a line, as long as Larson fired off first, that should have been a violation, and if that was the case, it not being called makes NASCAR look like less and less of a legitimate sport, we're not mad because Larson won, were mad because of how NASCAR handled it.
Congratulations to David Gravel on his first Kings Royal win at eldora, had a great battle with Donny Schatz who came from deep in the field.
And larson didn't even make the feature 😃
Was an awesome race

@@tylerjones9309 Brad 100% didn't have enough fuel to make it but the fact that Brad pit right as the green was coming out truly fucked blaney. He knew Larson had a better car and being on the outside was to quote blaney a "death sentence"
NBC should really just get out. That channel switch was so unprofessional.
Just change the channel
Nascar made it very obvious that they were purposely holding the caution until they took the white.
NASCAR was following orders from their real Daddy, NBC. NBC tells NASCAR how these things will play out.
You mean white???
Nascars #1 job is to try to run the script, glad some people in the comments seem to be waking up
Yes too many things went down in that race to be a coincidence It was plain as day what was going on.
The end of this race was bs nascar needs to be consistent.
They let them take the white flag then yellow cause the tv networks so they don’t have to cut coverage everywhere else such as Canada. Where I live they cut it off during the red flag without saying shit
Racing surface is above 2nd white line. Pretty obvious
This race just proved that nascar fans can never be happy
If they threw a caution before Larson got the white flag, everyone would have lost there minds at them doing another overtime restart
As for NBC moving the race to USA, that instantly drops them to FOXs level, for some random race that would be fine but the BRICKYARD 400 that's unacceptable
True
Had Brad won, I think that would have been among the greatest wins in motorsport history. I truly believe he had enough had my guy not spun.
This season has been nothing but pain.
Not a Busch fan but y’all are having a Jeff Gordon 2015 type of season and as a Gordon fan at that time that season was rough
bro that was brads without the yellow, he had enough fuel for those last 3 laps
Brad is the MASTER at saving fuel. I don't know why the commentators seemed to forget that. I remember Brad several times in the 2 car doing shocking fuel runs all the while leading or chasing someone down. He ia next level at it. Also I am anything but a Keselowski fan lol. But can't deny when he is good. He might be one oc the most intelligent racers too. He deserves more credit for making a junk team competitive seemingly over night once he showed up.
He stretched the fuel to the 400 mark. Not enough for the OT…Brad is good at saving fuel.
Brad cost Jeff the cup when he wrecked him at Texas he won homestead and would’ve won the cup. So Brad losing is the best thing about this race. K money winning again 23rd to winning is the modern day jeffro death row Gordon he’ll be at 70+ wins and 2-3 cups within the next 7 years
I’m with you Eric. I’m tired of these back markers wrecking every three seconds during overtimes. It is ridiculous and gets old.
I was there and fans AT Indy were not furious. It was a long long race. A long long red flag. Waiting for another restart and maybe another caution and another wasn’t something the fans wanted. The fastest best car and driver won and we were all satisfied.
Many of us watching at home were also not furious! Agree, the best car/ driver won 🏁
I was also there, only the Larson fans around me were happy with that finish, most everyone was pretty upset
@shiny_Six hey look an honest person 😂
For starters, Larson won this race with fuel strategy, not speed. The best play was to line the boys back up, Larson side by side with Reddick, then we'd see who was the "best car/driver".
Preece hit the wall and was clearly disabled. They held the caution to preserve the storybook ending win that they always seem to get, especially with Hendrick.
If they held the caution at Nashville, Denny wins that race. Multiple instances of them doing the exact opposite of this.
Hate it. Race sucked for the most part. Fuel milage fun was ruined.
Meh.
They werent even in turn 3 when he was shown bottomed out spinning his wheels that was such an obvious call. i get trying to let the race finish out but that was insanely late, no excuse.
Larson would've won anyway, I think they just didn't want the shit that happened at Nashville
seemed like a scam Hendrick win
Isn't the restart zone rule, that if the control car doesn't launch by the end of the zone, then they can all launch? Watch the restart zone paint on the inside front wall. Larson launches just as the restart zone ends.
i think they let larson jump the restart because they penalized him for an unclear rule earlier.
that is what I saw. Larson drew even as they passed the gotta go by line. What controversay? I re ran the replay step by step. WaS Larson coming? Yes. But he drew even at the gotta go by line.

Can I talk to somebody about this I know what Eric was saying that Kyle Larson jumped the restart but no NASCAR came out and said Larson was the leader Larson have the right to start the race he had the right to jump the restart and Ryan Blaney cannot jump the restart he had to wait until Larson get to the restart in NASCAR says it was not violation then there was no violation NASCAR made a rule that Larson was in front Larson was in P1 Ryan blaney P2 pulling that was the rule that Larson was in P1 Ryan blaney was mp2 so therefore Larson was allowed to jump the restart not Ryan blaney and I know Ryan blaney's pissed I'm not Ryan Blaney nice cars decision but you know what he's going to have to get over it Ryan blaney is a good driver don't get me wrong but he also has diabetes and those diabetes can kill you eventually and I'm not trying to you know hate on your guy's driver it's just that haven't diabetes is a serious thing I think Ryan Blaney has type 1 and type 2 diabetes and he has those type of diabetes so when he you know yells at people or don't get his way those diabetes can go out of control and make you have a sugar heart attacks do I think Ryan Blaney should change his tune in cool off yeah I think he should come on it's just a race and I understand it's important to Ryan Blaney but also you got to remember Kyle Larson's number won the Indy 500 so I mean can you compete for the Indy 500 because a lot of people know this but he also rebound today for the brickyard 400 so and I'm proud of my favorite NASCAR driver absolutely I'm proud of Kyle Larson and you know people can sit there and criticize me say whatever you want but NASCAR made a rule saying that Ryan Blaney P2 was too which is not allowed to go on the restart right away only only P1 on the restart that is the rule book.? @mister_aidan09
remember when nascar was quick to throw a caution for rain in daytona yet when a car is spun and went around nascar said oh wait what yellow
the chase Elliot penalty is so easy to understand. The accell line. The lane from pit lane to exit of 2. Can go outside of that. Don’t go on track before that. And he went over a cars width outside the line and on to the racing surface.
I was listening to Larson's scanner and before the restart Cliff Daniels was saying he was talking with NASCAR about that exact situation, making sure they were clear on the rules.
Like you said, Hamlin was the control car when he jumped his start. If that was any one other than Golden Boy, it would have been called. Not only did they not call it, they then handed him the win.
He was leader at the caution after the white flag the rule is he's the winner suck it up or shut up....

@@loganadams3013 it doesn't matter. He still jumped it and he is still the golden boy
Hendrick favoritism like always
Preece wasn’t going anywhere and NASCAR pretty much refused to throw the yellow flag until after the white flag. It would have been chaos, but that’s racing. At least it used to be…
That was 100% fake and they wanted larson to win. I don't even hate larson but sorry that was obviously not real
They used to end “racing” under caution if the yellow flew with 3-5 to go, tbf.
Sports are bread and circuses for the masses, of course its scripted
No, racing is not suppoed to be chaos, thats just what you want it to be.
A disabled car was sitting on the track, a track where cars were running in excess of 200 mph today. I concede the caution easily should've been thrown before the white flag, but it would've been inexcusable to let a potential catastrophe unfold.
What happened today was why NASCAR is considered the WWE of racing
You have no idea how true this is
@@TonyMetzger that's how I felt when I started watching Nascar about 6 years ago. I always voiced out in the chat about the race been scripted. Then, they toned it down, it seems. Lately, it seems to have ignited again. I hope I'm wrong.
I find Kyle Larson more entertaining than the wrestlers in WWE.
I’m not one to play into conspiracies, but holy h*** did that ending feel super scripted. Caution coming out, then Brad running out giving Larson the front row. Larson questionably jumping the restart like Hamlin at Richmond. That giving Larson lane choice for next restart and then NASCAR neglecting to throw the yellow for Preece until Larson conveniently made it past the start/finish line. It was obvious that Preece wasn’t gonna get moving. Utterly ridiculous.
Yeah lol script a race would be almost impossible
The only thing that looks bad is throwing the caution when they did. Brad running out of gas is completely normal in his situation not a thing weird about that. Ya looks like Larson may have jumped the start by a hair. We also cant see if Blaney hit the gas though. To me that is just a shit happens because it is such a close call.

Their job is coordinate the script with the blackmailed drivers. Look into Jeffery Epstein
They have an ideal situation script they want to run at every race, all the guys in the top rides are in on it
Pretty sure Busch was told to spin out to give larson a better chance
it was obvious he spun out on purpose, this race really open my eyes....
I didn’t want another chaotic restart as well, but I’m just mad of the lack of consistency from nascar officiating lately. Now we have to question what is a caution and what isn’t
The 41 was sitting on the backstretch for almost a whole lap before NASCAR threw the caution. He had flats. Idk if NASCAR knows this but *THESE CARS CAN'T MOVE IF ALL THE TIRES ARE FLAT*
NASCAR botched the finish. It’s the lack of consistency that is infuriating. Idk how NASCAR can say Larson did not jump the restart. Going from the second row to being essentially granted the control car. He clearly jumped the restart. To top it off NASCAR officials wait to throw the caution after the 5 passes the white. That’s a caution if anyone but a Hendrick driver isn’t leading. Very frustrating!
If Blaney didn't know the rule then why was he upset?
If you watch the Hocevar incident from the start finish line, you’ll see that he didn’t shoot the middle, he held his line, and the car inside of him shot under him pushing 3-wide down the straightaway. Then Blaney crowds down from the outside.
They didn't need another restart, the next restart would have been people running out of gas. The restart after that would be more drivers running out of gas. It would have been endless.
I have a sneaking suspicion that that Kes would have run out of gas on the final lap, but I really wanted to see if he could have somehow made it. Thanks KB. We appreciate you buddy.
Larson's win was scripted
Sad that the Xfinity race was WAY better racing than the Cup race was... xfinity race was awesome!!
I agree
xfinity race was one of the best races this weekend. the cup guys should follow what xfinity is doing and cut the horsepower
Oh definitely. In fact, after the Cup Series results at Indianapolis, I'm just gonna watch the Xfinity Series for the rest of the season. At least they're not rigging the Xfinity Series to a certain extent.
They wanted larson to win the kings royal and the brickyard in the same week. Unfortunately WoO isnt scripted and he got whooped at Eldora
Cry harder
NASCAR isnt scripted either lol. You know how many people that would take? Sponsors would have to be on board too. There is no way at all. Why do you watch if you actually think it is scripted?
Every Hendrick win brings out the same stupid conspiracy comments.....
I have a crazy idea...A Cup Series double-header event in Indianapolis. What if the Cup Series raced under the lights at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday night and then raced at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday. This would showcase the drivers' talent and the car's versatility going from the short track to the 2.5 mile track. Have a special $1 million prize for any driver that wins both races. This also allows NASCAR to have another Cup race without adding a weekend.
Larson didn't go early. He was just better
Ignorance of the law is not a defence. Fix is in for Larson.
Larson went at the end of the restart zone, if Blaney doesn't go that's on him
Larson gunned it first. And I can’t stand Blaney.
That was the most golden boy favoritism shit I’ve seen in my 10 years of being a fan. They handed that to Larson.
Pretending he wouldn’t have won anyway
Keep crying. He was going to win anyway.
Should watch when Dale Jr goes below the yellow line passing someone at Talladega in the Budweiser 8 car. Im a huge Earnhardt fan and can admit NASCAR looked the other way.
seemed like a script
Lmao stop it. He would’ve outran everyone every fucking restart. Literally drove his way through the field to the front
I think the rule allowing Larson and those on the inside to move up was Bullshit. If Kesolowski pits as he should have before arriving for the green Blaney would have chosen the inside lane.
Exactly
If a Bullfrog had Wings
I’m perfectly fine with how nascar called this race. Except the blend line. NASCAR has to be perfectly clear on what’s allowed and what isn’t. Clearly drivers weren’t sure
But to be fair only 2 drivers messed up, Hamlin made his stop first and was fine
Gotta say, if Nashville didn’t have 5 overtime’s does nascar wait or not wait to throw the yellow?
I really wish NASCAR would learn how to officiate a damn race.
Thanks NBC Sports Chicago for changing the race with 2 to go, i had no idea who won until Eric Estepp posted
At multiple points that race seemed totally scripted
Busch spinning was totally fake, everyone knows that guy wouldn't spin out in that situation racing for nothing
I have been thinking this all year. Especially with all the strange events.
@@ParkerLynch-t4mprove it. Shit happens and what would he gain by doing it?
I'm curious if it was your driver that got "handed" a win you wouldn't make a noise would you
Entire season is scripted
Data shows Larson did not jump the start, it looked worse because he had a bit of momentum built from moving up a lane, but they fired off at the same time. In a normal start he probably would have been called for hanging back and rolling the start, but circumstances as they were worked out great for him and he got an advantageous rolling start.
I feel like NASCAR took a page out of the NFL officiating book. lol.
There's some reports stating that NASCAR didn't remember what the rule was on the restart where Brad bailed to pit road. BOTH drivers didn't know either. So Blaney bitching only came after he found out the rule. NASCAR holding the yellow flag for Preece, that fine as well as, like you said, holds of throwing the flag to see if the car can get going. THERE'S NO CONTROVERCY THAT DESERVES ALL THIS ATTENTION from the crybaby fans and media.
As a Rowdy fan, this is the worst year to watch NASCAR... Every single race is a different pain man 😭😭😭
The Preece spin was a "damned if you do/Damned if you don't" situation for the NASCAR officials.
If they throw the yellow when Preece stalled out, we get at least one more Green-White-Checkers and hopefully it ends without caution.
Honestly i think they took the lesser of 2 evils, the drivers now are more aggressive then ever and during overtime the "driver's code" goes out the door and people are driving over each other and that breeds cautions.
After 35 yrs of watching Nascar im done. Not throwing the caution and letting larson win bc if they had another gwc he would've ran outta gas. Also the stands were empty af.

Your not done lol
do you know how big indy is it seats up to 250,000 people. your not gonna fill it up if it was very popular. no nascar race this year is close to filling that place up.
Eric, as noted Indy is a one grove track. The best action is always coming out of a restart... Why Why Why would NBC do a multi split screen and fill half of it with spotters on a restart? This is a moment for the cars on the track, not the 'lets get behind the scenes' fluff.. Then of course is the swap at the end to cable...Ugh
I was at the race, and the crowd went nuts with every position Larson gained towards the end. It would have been nice to have a green finish, but he deserved the win.
No rule nascar make them up as you go ! and wonder why nobody was hardly there !
Then they should replace it with a roadcourse in Europe
Who was furious? Twitter ? A third restart was not needed, nobody was touching Larson.
Does the people on Twitter want another Nashville race or something?
I'm DONE chasing NASCAR!! I'm busy, I work hard, and they make it impossible to record!!
I think for me, as a definitely biased Blaney fan, is that I would like to see some consistency. The Keselowski deal was just some unfortunate unlucky stuff, but the caution being held until the white flag was thrown was the straw that broke the camels back. It really does not help the Hendrick conspiracies and how Nascar is turning into the WWE narrative. Let's not forget that it wasn't very long ago when a caution was thrown as Blaney crossed the finish line of race. That one turned out good in the end for Blaney fans, but all I ask for is some consistency.
NASCAR mandating a tire & wheel package where cars can’t move when they have a flat tire is a bad look for nascar. Now it’s caused a race to end under caution.
Ryan Preece is the biggest HACK of a race car driver I’ve ever seen. How he thought that hole between Burton and Byron was gonna fit is why he’s yet to find a ride for next year.
Have you heard of Corey LaJoie
Last week it was Corey LaJoie. Seems to be a lot of competition for the biggest HACK crown.

😂😬😂
Raceday is never over until we hear from Eric.
Larson earned the win. Go ahead and complain about it, but he drove through the field to put himself in position to win, and did it.
No doubt. He would have won with another restart. But man it is a bad look the way they threw that caution. Makes it next to impossible to defend against the conspiracy nuts.
The only thing that people are mad about is how NASCAR handled it, Larson earned that win but that is overshadowed by many people due to hoe NASCAR f-ked up the final lap
I sooooo agree
Just glad Denny Hamlin didn't win and got wrecked. I was so happy to see that. I hope Denny doesn't win another race ever again.
Just because you simp for Larson doesn't change the inconsistent cautions 😂
I was there at Indy and it was a lot of fun! I agree with you, Eric, holding the yellow at the end was good. I believe it should have just stayed green
NASCAR wanted Larson to win period!
17:12 lol seriously i was so pissed that happened. Went from what was shaping out to be a legendary finish to an afterthought
These storybook wins NASCAR seems to always get bugs me. Especially the Hendrick ones that always seem to happen.
Pocono 2023 all over again, and I can sadly say that I was at that race in 2023, banger vid
one of the worst finishes ive ever seen that was awful
Agreed.
Wish I could have seen it.
You must be a new fan
Guess you didn't like the way they wrote it 😂
Every crown jewel this year has had a disappointing finish
The Southern 500 still could save the day
@@stocker2525 hopefully
We need earlier start times in order to avoid thunderstorms and to have enough time to run the race. About green finishes, it's better to finish the race on the scheduled distance. Overtime uses to bring yellows on and on.
Worst FINISH EVER!! WWE=NASCAR...word salad coming tomorrow from Elton Sawyer...The FIX was in...50 year + fan....phony win...
Man. This was a tough race. It was cool at first as Truex fans seeing him pass 27 cars to get into the top 10, but then he wrecked and bummed us severely, and then maybe Brad was gonna win, but the caution came out with Busch wrecking when he was gonna have a good day, and to top it off NBC decided to cut away with 3 laps to go. And finally, Nascar making a TERRIBLE call not throwing the caution. Geesh! A hard race to end the week on before we go to Olympic break.😬
That caution should have been thrown before they got the white flag NASCAR has its favorite teams. They want to get that storyline ending, but all it’s doing is hurting viewership..
And making fans who value legitimacy furious
Oh shut up it's over who cares......cry about it for the next two weeks I guess...
NASCAR sure as hell didn't swallow the whistle in the All-Star race in 2022 at Texas when Ricky Stenhouse barely touched the wall. They tried to screw Blaney over in that race too. Inconsistent will always be inconsistent. We deserve answers for that no call.
The race was good other then hard to pass
I mean, for consistency sake they should have thrown the caution, for sure, even if it was in turn four. It was clear he wasn't going to go anywhere. That's really the only problem I had with that. Just wish the calls were more consistent in that matter.
Regardless of finish that was a great weekend of racing between Indianapolis and IRP!
It was fantastic they need to bring the xfinity series to IRP or honestly even cup I think that would be interesting
@@jacksonkelly1130 it would be but I don’t think they have the capacity to host cup or Xfinity
@@jacksonkelly1130 after seeing the xfinity series yesterday. they were great one of the best races they ever had. they should stay at the brickyard
Ididn't watch the cup race live....I'm prepared to give a groovy gauge rating on the Xfinity race, remembering this is my first season watching NASCAR. There was passing and the finish was great, I'll give the Xfinity race a 7.5.
I call BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 things (all favoring Kyle Larson)
1. They penalized Brad Keslowski for crossing onto racing surface coming out of the pits. Right behind him, Kyle Larson also crossed that same line. Not penalized!!!!!!!
2. Kyle Larson jumps the restart after taking Brad K's spot after running out of gas.
3. Nascar doesn't call caution for the #41's accident until after the white flag while Larson was leaving.
When is Nascar going to stop kissing Hendrick's ass???!!!!!!!
So done with this sh!+ !!!!!!!!!!
Poor guy 😢
Where's Denny's penalty then?
Well said, man Nascar sucks, always kissing HMS you know what 😡😡
umm... if nascar was kissing hendrick's ass, they wouldn't have called the blend line penalty on Elliott...
aww poor baby, hope you csn get over it buddy
We need to figure out a way to safely race to the start finish line under caution. Most people wouldn’t have had a problem with the finish if Larson and Reddick were racing to the white to win.
Bullshit finish completely ruined the race and brought it down to a 0/10.
This might be unpopular, but generally, I’m a fan of cautions and overtimes. I find they tend to make the races more exciting and closer finishes - however, the caution being called during that tight 3-way race with only 3 laps to go was definitely a disappointment.
Nascar needs to figure out how to reduce the amount of pace laps.
in caution laps i counted 5 laps per time
Looked like the stands were pretty empty.
that race seemed extremely scripted
Last week especially. With all the ryan blaney talk and podcast last week. They're wanting him to win a championship again. He barely made the playoffs last year and wins the last race. Definitely not championship caliber.
Seemed that way, especially since I’m a Truex fan. I didn’t know this race started so soon, so I was baffled why Truex was last in the first 8 laps. Anyway, I was more baffled as a 10 year scanner listener how calm can nonchalant Truax was over the radio. It was weird!
Lol come on.
@@claychamlee884Tony Stewart did the same. He was junk but made it to the playoffs and wins the championship.
I mean, they told him he was fastest on the track twice. He was in fifth, from the back. And he wasn’t pissed at all, all day! Weird!
I don't think the driver's should start restarts, it should be the flagnan that starts the race and restarts. And yes the 5 jumped
He didn't jump. Blaney never went. Blaney didn't realize he was in control of the restart so he was waiting for Larson to go. Larson went at the last restart line, which is what he's supposed to do..
