Adding- seeing the game played and then discussing it afterwards is perhaps the best review format. I have a really good sense of this game now. Plus it was fun to watch.
I like the pixie cut, it gives her an Audrey Hepburn kinda vibe. I can only imagine how great she would look in a cocktail dress with long black gloves holding a martini.... /swoon!
Fantastic episode! Great to see a crossover of shows :-) Now you have to get to Blighty to play a game in the SU&SD apartment! Have to say I enjoyed the more relaxed approach to this ep. The banter and laughter is usually missing from your reviews and that was something I would encourage you to include more - more of a relaxed vibe than a fully scripted one. Still - I do like your reviews to whatever you choose to do - you will do it well. Good day ladies!
lying about having a contesa or challenging an assassin is such a ballsy move as its basically an instant loss. I usually just take the hit as 1 card is still better than no cards, but then because I rarely lie about having contesa I rarely get challenged on that hence I could get away with an occasional lie.
31:00 +15s "Are there any other games in The Resistance universe?" / "Not that I'm aware of" - Maybe it came out later, but One Night Revolution fits that description.
Yeah, the edition that we used in the video is the Kickstarter version. All of the North American retail copies should be the same (although there are a _ton_ of interesting international versions, all with different art).
how many cards for each type of roles to play in this game cause I heard that reformation increases the number of each role in the deck but I'm not sure we have to play all of that or not
I loved this episode as well, nice to see Paul up in Canada.
Happy early birthday to the successful Paul Dean!
The best live play through I've seen, love the dynamics between the players.
Like it so much better when we see them play the game not just review it. Keep up the good work ladies.

I enjoyed this episode quite a lot. Hope to see more of this.
Awesome episode. One of my favorite little games. I kickstarted this too and it's just such a great game. Thanks guys for the play through.
Loved this episode, would hope to see more live plays like this in the future.
yaay! ALL the board game people! :D
SU&SD + Starlit Citadel! It's like an awesome crossover comic! Hoorah!
Very cool! I'll definitely have to pick up the expansion now.
This was a great watch. Nice one!
Very happy to have found this channel! I look forward to discovering more with you :D
This game is so calm, when my friends and I play we literally start shouting and eating each other. Yup
Great video and good to see Paul on the show. Joanna, I miss your long hair. That is all.

Oooh, Paul Dean, you lied to me! You said this was going to be in the Lewisham branch!
Could have saved sooo much time deciding who would go first if they just used the Chwazi app on one of their phones. You're welcome. :)
Kaja's sideview looks like Galadriel from Lord of the Rings!
You're more right than you know: Season 2 Special: Starlit Citadel Plays Red Dragon Inn
Your version of Coup has different portraits than mine. Did not know there are different versions.

StarlitCitadel
Oh nice! Thanks
Paul's such a sharp guy.
Love your reviews - keep up the good work - Kaja is hot!!!
Paul!!! :)
Do I need to get rid of the ambassador if the inquisitor is in the deck?
the audio is not high enough. u.u
agreed!

This was great but please work on the audio! It was hard to hear sometimes.
The audio is too quiet in this video.
Related: is there any chance you guys will be getting Fire in the Lake in at any point in the near future?
I don't know what's up with your microphone, but the volume of this video is quite low with everything up on my end :). Play on.
wow... Pauly D you look way different
Wait, so the background is not a green screen?
*squints*
Why would you green-screen the interior of a warehouse? Unless you were playing a warehouse management game ...
its not a "warehouse background", wise-ass, its board games background, appropriately.
Raphaelus13 No green screen - the series is shot in our warehouse in what is normally the receiving area.
See here Paul's cunning winning ploy to distract ladies with English accent . . (not that i've ever done similar... *coff coff)
is it just me or does that woman have a long neck.
