- DARYA is an EU-funded project.
- It is the first project to focus entirely on vocational education and training in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).
- DARYA stands for Dialogue and Action for Resourceful Youth in Central Asia
- It will run for 5 years until 2027.
- The estimated budget is €10 million.
- The European Training Foundation will implement the project.
Selbi from Turkmenistan says its time to give young people a chance
Consultations with young people will take place throughout the five years of the project.
Unicef is also planning to link up with the DARYA project in its work in the region.
There will be opportunities for students and graduates to give feedback via surveys, the EU SELFIE tool, and tracer studies.
