*** Some corrections!
1. PF and Hermes are not in the same group. Hermes does indeed use Vaucher movements, they have a small stake in the movement manufacture (only Vaucher not all of PF) but both are still very independent of each other.
2. The price is $21,500 USD not $19K.
3. There is lume on the watch (black lume on indices and tip of hour and minute hands)

With so many companies using their movements, I just don't get why Parmigiani isn't more popular. I really like their watches.
Great review! FYI, all GT models have lume. Hour markers and the ends of the hour and minute hand are treated with black lume. With the dark dial especially it’s kind of camouflaged, which I think was the idea. Gives it a more casual/sport watch look whereas white lume could give it a dive/tool watch feel.
In the beginning of the review I was sort of like eh, but the second you put it on wrist the whole look of the watch changed. It looks INCREDIBLE on wrist! I like that its different and you don't (like the Submariner or Daytona and their MILLION homages) see it all over the place. I like having something more individual, unique and you won't see the exact same watch at the next table when you're at dinner. This is beautifully made. I remember looking at pictures of Parmigiani watches before I could afford anything more than my Timex Ironman and thinking WOW that is incredible. . .one of these days. Its amazing that you can walk in and actually buy it at the actual price. I think I may have to move my Rolex GMT down the road and look more closely at this. Thank you for another great review and a fantastic look at an overlooked brand. Try to stay safe and warm during this crazy NY snow storm.

Great review and I agree with your points and comparisons. I recently compared this (two hand date version), Moser streamliner, and Czapek Antarctique. While none of them are perfect all three are worthy of their price points imo. I ended up buying Czapek since I preferred its design language and mvt over the others. Thanks for the great content as always!

REGARDING LUME: The indices and hands both have Rhodium plated appliques with luminescent coating. In the video you claimed there was no lume so I thought I’d mention this!!
This is a great brand. A friend dumped his small collection of 7 luxury watches to dive into Parmigiani. He know owns 4. For some reason people overlook this brand for uber-hyped brands. Nice review!

This is high horology, the equal of JLC or Blancpain, in fact Blancpain aren't really on this level, perhaps Breguet is a better comparison, GP is another overlooked manufacturer at (nearly) this level. Very cool

Personally love the look of both Parm and Bvalgari. Out of price range but feel they are well worth the price. Wish you could buy the movement like you can with eta. Would enjoy building a watch with that beautiful movement
1:54 if you can remember from when you had the watch Chris your thoughts on how legible the skeleton hands were with that black dial in normal light. Have been on the edge to buy this watch but this is the only thing holding me back. In high light easy to see but looks very difficult to see in other pictures. Cannot see one in the flesh need to order from AD. Thanks, Charlie

There is lume. It’s black and therefore not as bright, but it is there.
I have heard of the brand and I know that they supply components to some amazing watch manufactures… However, I always used to say it’s a good thing that their name it’s not on a dial….I guess it has been for a while and I didn’t know it… But the name IMO it’s absolutely ridiculous… Although I love Veal ‘Parmigini’….There is also a poorly made copy of this dial floating around on TH-cam. They spelled her name is slightly different but for all intensive purposes it’s a bad counterfeit.
