That's why I love this channel, it let's me know I'm not the only one that has simple projects go way out to left field! The struggle is real! Have a great day!
Definitely! I get tired of the "everything went to plan" channels. Life never works out that way
It's always fun to see how you put the little 755 to his limits 👍😊😎
Great job cutting trees Mike
After seeing that strap I can say with confidence Captain Kleeman is a man that gets his money's worth out of everything he owns. Lol.
There is four feet of strap here. Four feet is WAY too handy a length to throw away...
Love the colour of the pond.
Lots of clearing for sure in those woods, never ends!! Nicely done and no cuts or bruises🤗👍🇺🇸
Hi Mike. The decahedron does exist because you used it! If you have a Harber Freight near you, they have some cheap batteries. They don't last long but sometimes they are free. Knowing how to use your resources is a good way to fund your projects. Have good days!
Somethings are meant to have one more shot at existence! Congrats on the straps holding!
Looks like the pond is holding water, looks good! Good job Capt Bunyan on the tree!
Great idea on the trade up. As long as it works. God bless
Great video Mike
Mike, thanks for sharing another great video....I am enjoying your channel more than ever!
Thanks for another great video. Glad you've been able to get the rest of what you need to finish the goat barn.
Always making me laugh! The toolbox and the battery compartment! Can't wait to see the roof go on the chicken/goat barn.
Fun video Mike,thanks…
Fun day :) always good to reuse bits and bobs :) nice work on the air bags too !
Captain get some wing nuts for the tractor battery. God bless
Captain Kleeman has a saw cut a tree that would not fall, when he seen what he had done grabbed an axe to knock it down. Sing that with the Liz Borden theme.
Tasty fruit in the winter months for hunters and deer alike ..
I actually grow them and enjoy the fruit.
Great video and narrating
Bonjour Mike tout et dans la tête formidable rien ne résiste à Mike faut juste réfléchir pas meilleur que Mike passe une bonne journée 🇨🇵🇨🇵🤗😘 de papy Gilbert de France bisous bisous
"Foolproof" Generally underestimates the ingenuity of the fool. Love your videos...
Great video! Some times, you just don't know about trees! Last year I took down a leaning tree in the state park. It was leaning at a 45 degree angle. Dropping it on the lean was an excellent option, so that's what I proceeded to do. There were no vines on the tree and the canopy was clear. The tree fell 90 degrees from the direction of the planned cut. There was simply NO explanation of Why? When cutting trees down - you've got to have your head on a swivel! Thanks, Mike! Lee
Great vid. Always a pleasure to watch.
One man, two persimmon trees and the quest for the perfect video. Stayed tuned as Captain Kleeman battles stubborn logs, baking sun and a splinter the size of Rhode Island.
I like how your down to earth like most people and show things how it is. Keep up the great the work, you will have a real beautiful place once you get it all done. ( But are we ever done😁) 👍
The one thing I learned from making mistakes is that if I don't make mistakes I don't learn, so keep learning there bud.
Hi Hi Captain. Sunday morning from Jamaica 🇯🇲🙏.
@@CaptainKleeman Thank you Captain. Do have a great day, both you and family 🙏
good job putting that tree where you wanted to
As always, very entertaining. Love how you work around a minor setback. And I know things do break when not in use! If it wasn't for repairing I would catch up on my to do list!
Love your channel Mike, down to earth guy making sense, a rare commodity these days. Best to your family. Greetings from Lancaster county Pa.
I'm 68 and you inspire me! I always worked 2 or more jobs had kidney failure at 65 and get dialysis 3 times a week.and after watching you it forces me to go outside and do all the neglected projects that are sitting idle. A salute to you Captain! BTW when can we buy T-shirts! Another awesome video!
Another video well done. The chainsaw worked great. Hopefully the lawn mower will be an easy fix.
Cap’n I had my heart set on a little log arching! I just knew it as gonna see some action. But, like a lot of other things in life… Sometimes a guys minimum expectations aren’t met. Nstead he is treated to a whole ‘nuther surprise… to his delight!
Thanx Cap’n!
You have a way of making the boring interesting
The problem we have is: Fool-proof is not always Kleeman-proof. ;)
with the used roofing when you have holes you dont want just put a pop rivit in it to seal the hole it works real well try if you want .
I thought i was subscribed 2months ago but found out today i wasnt but i am now i like your projects and how you do them cheers to you and the family Phil
Great video Mike, suggestion, build a separate frame with casters that you can lift the implements box off of and take outside with you, less danger of breaking them off and/or having them full of sand, dirt, vines ect... Keep up the good work, some day your grandchildren will wonder how you accomplished so much.
Those vines are a pain in the rear. Mike you and your family have a Happy 4th of July. Be safe
You say it is purely entertainment, but by putting on those chain protection pants, you clearly know better than a large majority of the amateurs video we see out there.
That's awesome. Just sold a 5th wheel camper. I would have given to you.
How not to do stuff? Relative was cutting timber - parked well away from the job. But that tree took down another tree that just reached the vehicle.... The one week old NEW vehicle. Certain amount of panel damage. Bought a hard hat with the inscription - "Drop tree here!"
Did not think that strap was going to make it back to the house once let alone twice..lol its a keeper
Listen son, you are like 90% of us......weekend Tre cutters...you do well
Thanks Captain for a nice end to my Sunday night TH-cam watching.
That wood is prized for cue sticks, golf clubs, top of the line furniture and cabinetry, flooring, watercraft furnishings and other uses.
It's amazing how much you seem to get done by yourself.
I do hope you're able to get back to the Yacht cabin build soon.
That saw storage pallet is sweet, I am going to have to build one as well, very convenient
Great video and i would love to see you re-wire that winch! thank you for sharing! :)
I cut for 8 hours today on dead ash trees... my 74 year old dad paid to have 14 dropped on 2 farm sites.... guess who got to clean them up? 🤪
Good to see the animal shack is coming along!
Another awesome Sunday morning morning with you giving me the biggest smile in giggle ever thank you for sharing
Really enjoy all your content it's very entertaining yet you get a lot of things done
you asked before were we come from well me Perth Western Australia and i enjoy the videos
Captain great video! You don’t know the word quit, you always go the extra step to fix the problems that come up ! You’re real with no BS! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
'First "Key"... Second "Key"... Next "Key"...'. Sure hope you have a BIG "Key" chain!!! 🤪
Not sure if you'd want to do this, but whenever you mention the family activities like kayaking, I'd love to see a few snapshots after the closing. Maybe set up a camera on a tripod in time-lapse and choose a half dozen frames.
From 1 FF to another the official name for that knot is a hatchet knot, lol
Congrats Cap on getting the trees cut-down and ready for the customer.
Putting it on casters will also allow it to stay under the bench and let you work at the bench without always kicking it.
That empty tool box was hilarious. Good intentions anyway.
I hope we can all take a few minutes this holiday weekend and think about how great this country is and how luck we are to be living here. Those who don't appreciate it don't realize how others live - image living in Ukraine!! Thanks for making our country even better Mike!!
Persimmon neck and fretboard blanks for guitar building go for $20-30 per board foot. It's sometimes referred to as white ebony.
If you can find a buyer. It's just not realistic to find someone who needs to make 2,000 fretboards in our area
Great video today look forward to your videos. To bad about the winch wiring but I am sure you can fix it Take care and be safe.👍
Mike, first off Happy 4th of July another 5 ⭐ video God bless y'all from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯
I am sorry young man, but I am setting here watching you and actually laughing, not at you or your situation but at me, I have been exactly where your at with things not going as planned, but just keep going to salvage what ever you can. Thanks for the ride along.
I would love to live where u and dp live as I would camp out in the woods all the while it looks lush
Hey Mike, just turned 70 a couple days ago and its amazing, even at my age, that I am still learning what not to do and learning from mine & others mistakes!!😁😁😁 Thanks for helping me learn a couple more things today...hehehehe. Thanks for the great content and your awesome sense of humor. God bless y'all. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Interesting video I can totally relate to the empty toolbox (chain box?) Things always seem to walk around me too. I am sure there is a black hole where all the most useful items go!!
Also I love all the planning and forethought that goes into your tree felling. Lol.
hello from the Netherlands mike .
good plan of you to use that pallet box for your chainsaw stuff and also those wheels.
only I would not put those wheels on the pallet box itself ,
but make a frame for it under which the wheels are mounted .
if you put that pallet box somewhere else than in your shed, at least it can't roll away.
and if you keep putting those wheels in the ground and sand they will soon stop working.
and you can also use a loose frame in your shed for other things to set up and drive around.
like your mowing deck for example .
thanks for the video Captain 👨🚒
Sincerely, Hollandduck
@@CaptainKleeman
and then you have become a running🏃♂️ Captain👨🚒 chasing your saw haha
Hey Cap!! Great video. You and the family have a safe and happy 4th of July.
Faller at work, check out Bjarne Butler!😯 Yes, first name is spelled correctly.🙂
You don't seem to let "set backs" get you flustered. Having a sense of humor always helps.
