    Picked one up at a Thrift store for $50. Plastic Container looked new perfectly clear seldom useď if at all. Should have bought one years ago. Use it daily. Love it.

    I saw the mixer in Costco and told my husband they have a $500 mixer for $289 or whatever it was. He went to Costco online and got me the 7500. I absolutely love it! Super easy to use and clean.
    Great video! Your filming is great. Your sound went out a few times 4:35 4:42 unless that’s how you wanted it. It’s not that noticeable. Just a fyi.
    Geez we almost need PPE in our kitchen for hearing protection! Thanks for the comparison I was wondering since that’s the one I saw in Costco.

    Just got the E520 and was looking for information on it. Yes it is a bit loud but not any louder then my old Bullet and the E520 does so much more and with the cost savings I am happy with it. Thanks for the review, it helped me understand the machine I purchased.

    We had our Vitamix 5200 for years with the same noise problem you had with the E520. Our solution was to wear ear protectors which is an inconvenience but works!

    I'm not kidding you,my mom bought the e520 about a week ago and just returned it couple days ago.We only used it one time and the motor took a dump.I seen videos on how to make ice cream and that's exactly what I did and it gave out.Well not completely but the motor would fluctuate in speed like it was forced.It wasn't even that much ingredients or anything like that but that's all it took one time!!

      I had a feeling something wasn't right about the e520. Thought they just skimped out on insulating the machine from noise but it seems as they also skimped on quality as well! Interesting to hear

    Noise would be an issue every day that I would own and use this machine, and for that reason I would probably get the 750.

    I'm not sure why would it matter where the blender is purchased from that would make one better than the other. Yes the 520 bundle is sold at Costco for 400.00, 125 less than from Vitamix direct, so that's a pretty decent deal. Power from the 750 is slightly more at 2.2 vs 2 hp. They both also have the heat feature. Personally, I'd rather go for the E2300 bundle with the food processor, but that's a bit more of an investment.

    I’ve had my pro 750 since summer 2016 and I love it. I was lucky to get the heritage edition which has a true metal base in stainless steel, so it’s even quieter as the insulation is superior. I’d not trade it for even the ascent series a3500. Hope she lasts forever! I’m in Canada so we have less deals and everything is much more expensive. When I bought it it was $950 plus 13% taxes, and on top of that I have all the containers and attachments. Spent over $2k in the end. But I would not trade it. LOVE my 750.

    I bought a Blendetec from Costco loved that machine. Unfortunately, Costco doesn't carry Blendtec anymore, you're probably wondering what happened to the Blendtec...ex-wife kept it. Recently, went out to purchase a Vitamix E520. Miss my former Blendtec blender. I appreciate your great video.

    Thank you. I have an older Super 5200 that still works but my wet container broke so I only have the dry one. Bought a cheap bullet style but still having a problem blending dates. Tempted to get the E520 as it's on sale here in Victoria BC for $349.00 versus $499.00. Think I'll hold off for now and maybe just get a wet container for my older Vitamix.

    • @dccd3237
      @dccd3237 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Vitamix claims the containers don’t fit, but they do. I have a container from a 7500 on a 5200 for years with no problem. Even better, Vitamix covered the 7500 container as a replacement because the 5200 containers had a recall.

    • @dccd3237

      Costco version likely has less noise insulation but the same motor and everything else. I wouldn’t pay a premium for noise reduction since they’re all going to be loud if you make soups, nut butters, and flours.

    I recently found out while mattress shopping that name brands make a product version specifically for Costco, it's usually a great price but the quality is compromised compared to if you bought the item directly from the manufacturer.

    Vitamix's website states the E520 has a 2.0HP motor, not 2.2, so I think that's an error here. It would be nice to show the specs listed on the boxes...
    but THANK YOU for measuring the decibels!!!! It's so hard to find any differences between the various models, but to me, 10 decibels is HUGE!

    • @WFXO
      @WFXO หลายเดือนก่อน

      Vitamix designs these machines to perform the same no matter which motor is used. They work with the build of the model to produce the same recipe results. The difference is sound and automated programs.

  • @WFXO
    @WFXO หลายเดือนก่อน

    The difference in your blend on these generations of Vitamix will come down to how you loaded the ingredients and where the were in the blend process and the exact amounts down the to grams. The only real difference that will be noticed with these machines is in how the machines are designed for sound handling and the addition of automated programs which I must say I use quite often. The 750 is the winner here but both of these machines will produce the same blend results when manually blending. Vitamix engineers these machines this way.

    Excellent comparison and for me having one for years, I think the 520 is more like mine which makes it louder and it seemed in your video the 520 didn't sit as flas on the counter as the 750. This is also an issue I have with my old one.

    There is always a reason they have a lower price on one then the other. As you can see one would think that they are the same since its a Vitamix brand but there is always difference when you go budget!

    If you were able to look into the motor/circuit housing you'd probably see a cheaper motor in the Costco blender. I'm a Costco member and in general love the store but they often have manufacturers make cheapened versions of their products for the store.

    Wasting money every time they upgrade their blender, spent near d,mn 600.00 on my Vitamix Professional Series 500 Blender and I love this blender, yup I will upgrade when she call it quit, hell you can't even get this company to produce a stand alone blade for this blender to go cups, exactly why i invested in a blendtec, because they produces a stand alone blade for their to go cups.
