    U the only one of the few to get a decent tone and do justice to this pedal and we appreciate the no talk bs as most idiots do. Thank u for that sir.

      Hehe...well...maybe don't watch our other videos then...we usually talk a fair bit about the gear we demo...but for the DOD stuff I just wanted to do quick videos all about the sound!
      And thank you very much...I always try to get the best sounds out of these pedals...it's always great to hear positive feedback!!

    Ah memories. One of the first pedals I ever bought back in 1994. I used it in a band for years. I got nostalgic and bought another one yesterday! 🤘🏻😁🤘🏻

    One thing missing from this video is that the RIP/Gain/Volume knob will change the shape of your sound as well. Take some time to play around with your first dial. It will affect your tone.

    Anybody notice his disclaimer ‘not a metal guitarist’.... Then he busts out a pretty epic Dimmu Borgir riff...

    W o w such a beautiful looking guitar. But you have a lot of "guts' playing that thing so loud that I had so much "pain" I almost "scream"'ed listening and now only want to "rip". I know I'm goofy. Thanks for posting the video.

    I had one of these for like 5 minutes before I returned it and got the DOD Grunge pedal, lol. Both were cans of bees but I loved that grunge pedal at the time!

    Sounds rad! I Gotta ask, wo is your Friend? When talking about austrian Death Metal i think about two Bands and those are belphegor and pungent stench. So either Helmut or Martin Maybe?

    What intrigues me about this pedal is that the Gain is preset. DOD should've built an amp around this circuit; or did they?

    • @heggy_69
      @heggy_69 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, they made a dod grunge amp tho

    • @DerpRulesAll
      @DerpRulesAll 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@heggy_69 You're right. They made a bunch of them based on most of their pedals. But, apparently, they didn't sell well enough. I do like the concept of a pre-set Gain, though. 😎

    • @heggy_69
      @heggy_69 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DerpRulesAll same, you should look up the Morley just distortion if you want to see that idea to the extreme. Preset gain, tone and volume lol

      Haha...yeah me too...Alex is still around...we have just been so busy lately - with the channel and other things too...and I'm just trying to keep semi regular content coming on the channel. We just shot a couple of really cool videos with a drummer...running guitar pedals through the mic on the snare...and he could control and manipulate the effects in realtime...sounded really great...just takes forever to edit...so I thought I'll make a series of videos on the old DOD stuff I collect to "fill the gaps"
