- It's been a long time since we have done a thrift styling makeover video so hopefully this one doesn't disappoint!
A few years ago I built this bar by myself, it was the first time I really tried a project on my own and while I was proud of myself at the time, I knew I could do better. Cut to now, and I'm finally ready to tackle this project again. This time though, it is more than just a simple paint change and thrifting transformation. I am essentially DIYing this bar all over again and bringing it back to the drywall!

I think if you tea stain the paper with the dried flowers and put some gold wax around the edges of the frame, it would really tie the 2 art pieces together!

Very nice bar! I also liked the large, flowered pot. Have you thought about hunting for vintage bottles? On a side note, I like your music choice for this video!

Contact paper is easier if u spray windex on the sticky back, then once its positioned as u like , squeegee out the
Liquid and let dry.

I think your project turned out great really beautiful. But can I just ask one question. When you put the wood on the back wall why did you have a shorter pieces on the bottom and then a taller pieces at the top? Why didn’t you just install in one longer length instead of two different lengths?

Beautiful! Wondering why you cut the wainscoting pieces rather than using 1 or 2 pieces to cover the back wall?
Good question! The wainscoting panels unfortunately weren’t long enough (not as tall as I needed them to be) so I cut the first row of them the height of my first shelf so I could cover up the cut seam because unfortunately they only interlock on the sides and not the ends of each piece.
