[Video] Tram Duewag T4 |

In September 2019 a video was made on a Duewag tram type T4 (No. 114) of Rheinbahn AG Dusseldorf. The video was made between Dusseldorf central station and Dusseldorf, Landtrag/Kniebrucke and between Dusseldorf, Venloer Str. and Dusseldorf, Steinstr.
In the 1950s the Rheinische Bahngesellschaft AG Dusseldorf (since 2005 Rheinbahn AG) procured a total of 49 trams of type Duewag T4.
The so-called "Grossraumwagen" (high capacity wagon) were used solo or with a tram trailer.
The final decommissioning of the T4 trams was in the 1980s.
The tram No. 2014 was obtained and is now part of the historic fleet.
The tram is used at special events and can be rented for birthday parties.
In 2009, the T4 tram No. 2014 was renumbered to No. 114, to avoid confusion with the low-floor tram (NF10) No. 2014.
The video was made on the car-free Sunday (September 15, 2019), when various historic trams of Rheinbahn AG Düsseldorf were in service.
Four historic trams were in service between Dusseldorf central station and Polizeiprasidium.
In addition, historic trams were in service on the tram lines 701, 706 and 707.
