I will never be able to get over how so very underrated this show is. The visuals are some of the best I've ever seen, it's got a great story, great morals, fantastic character development, it's just one of the most amazing anime's I've ever seen. And its tame enough for a kids network to show it on. (Especially on Cartoon Network, this is nothing compared to what they've gotten passed the censors.) But since there's a good chance that it'll never get a network debut I'll just stick with my DVD Box set signed by the voice actress of Jonathan the Seal! :D
I like the child aimed audience theme of it but also the fact that adults can learn from soras challenges and determined behavior. plus I think she's a good role model for young girls which this show was clearly aiming for but managed to appeal to me and a number of male audience members.
I guess we were lucky that the show was aired in the Philippines. This was one of the most memorable anime series for me, it taught me a lot of things in life. Wonderful series
Ken dropped many signs and signals throughout the series that sora never picked up on. She's really young and obviously not interested in relationships as ken was interested in being in a relationship with her. She's still am admirable character. Love this anime

I saw it when I was a sophomore in high school while it was on The Anime Network (2005-06), but I'm planning to finally buy it. It's not even in my top 50 anime, but it was a good show and I'd like to own it, preferably on blu ray.
I used to watch Kaleido Star when i was around 11-12 years old. I loved it and rewatched the entire anime when I got a bit older, probably 16. I was in highschool then, having a hard time honestly speaking. This anime inspired me to always fight for what i want, it was really motivatial for me. It may be silly of me, but now, many years later ( now almost 24), caught in the hardships of life, i still relate to her. These days I was thinking of how she acts when sth gets bad or she s not good enough. She would be sad for a certain amount of time, but she would get up and work a lot.

this song fills me with so much energy and this anime was amazing it kinda gave me inspiration to do my best at everything. Sora and Layla were my favorite characters
