I do like the extra power and cooling effectiveness of water cooled bikes but I am the killer of radiators. Having an air cooled bike has been so much nicer for me, I can crash it all I want and I only really have to worry about my bars and levers. I would love to see someone to sea to sky on a Honda XR. I hope you still enjoy this trip despite all the trouble, can’t wait to see what’s next.
this is an after market one I fitted. And in fairness its been perfect. unfortunately I let it down. But because it used the bimetallic switch i was able to put it on permanently to help keep cool and the internal pressure lower

Sorry to hear it didn't go well, Ive done a few organsied events and they are really good at promoting the event and taking your money, BUT at the ground level they are poorly thought, planned and executed ending up being a balls up, and not much fun. To be fair in past years each day used a different colour tape. but this year was a Sherco edition so blue tape every day🙈 Im pretty confident that will be the last year they do it lol
@@Motomarsh i'm not much into beta's , is the 350 more of an hard enduro and 390 more of an "adventure" type bike ( like the drz or xr for example ) ? after watching your videos i more and more want to try out a 350 4 stroke , and i've never been an KTM fan , sooo... :D

Why do you even have the thermoswitch? I thought betas starting from 2022 didn't use it and the fan was controlled only by the ECU.

Confusingly this is the 350 but has my 390 plastics on 🙃
