Fared and Lana got married a few years earlier (before selling the studio in Bzoummar) after a while Erhab was not making any money, they weren't recording to other rappers and they didn't perform in concerts (because most songs had many artists and most of them didn't talk to each other anymore so they couldn't perform enough songs in concerts and didn't plan any) Fared and Lana moved to Saudi Arabia and Lana lived partially with him and partially with their 2 kids in Lebanon. Erhab was no more. Fared sold the studio and Jabha ended up buying their equipment, so naturally Kalash and Basbous (who were recording with and at Erhab) moved their operation to Jabha's studio (which was called Shaweri3 at the time) and he featured both artists in few tracks. Now unfortunately, without any leadership and guidance the "team" dispersed and everyone wanted to shine without the other, so at first they created great hit tracks but as they started experimenting and changing styles especially in solos, the 3 names soon enough faded. The rise of Cham3oun, Ostoura and ABS started since they had almost a similar experience but with Raji 88 who was like Fared for that team. It’s sad that we lost Abou Layla I think he would have taken the rap game to another planet he was the only one receivong that much support. I don’t like much Samarani and ABS since they don’t have that old school flow in their songs maybe it got saturated but even the ones still here are unrecognizable
you are right, ABS and Samarany are constantly evolving their styles , maybe to keep up with the rest of the world, but if you love old school hiphop you will not find it on their channels in the last 2 years I agree. But we are here for you bro 😋
but Abou Layla was limited in terms of vocabulary and depth. he was great at what he did but I wouldn't think it would have survived today's world. but who knows maybe he would have excelled and kept evolving as well.. RIP KING
