Thanks for uploading this. I taught English in Taichung for a while and I remember taking the MRT up and down the line if I had some time to kill or I wanted to try a new restaurant for dinner. This brings back great memories.
One interesting thing to point out - Similar to the Kaohsiung MRT, The music that plays as a train comes is different for each station of the Taichung Metro!
The MRT is modern, clean, and efficient. 👍 Taichung High Speed Rail Station looks cool with the restaurants, shops, and retail setups. Thank you for sharing this informative public transportation video, AK! 🤗
02:07 Indeed! In fact, Taichung Metro Green line (or called Wuri-Wenxin-Beitun line during construction) was constructed by Department of Rapid Transit of Taipei City Government, because Taichung City does not have a dedicated department in their city government at the time. That's why Taichung Metro is almost like a replica of Taipei Metro!
Transportation videos are my favorites ,and this one wasn’t an disappointment at all 😎Informative video and enjoyable and relaxing metro ride😎Thank you for sharing this A K🙂👍!!!
I play the saxophone, and the saxophone factories in Taiwan are centered mostly in the Houli district of Taichung. They are making saxophones of the highest quality professional level. It also has the only saxophone museum in Asia. You have to admit, after riding trains in Taiwan, as well noticing the cleanliness of the stations, coming back to NYC is a letdown. Especially now. Since you've been away, NYC has gotten a little worse.
I am enjoying watching the video. The subway screen door is similar to that of South Korea. Also, I want to film inside the subway, but filming is prohibited in South Korea. Watching the Actionkid's video makes me want to go to Taiwan.
As I have said before , The ActionKid could write a book about the subway 🚇 systems of the world. His expertise & appreciation of them is unparalleled & a highlight of his exceptional channel. 🐼

That’s good to know! Had no idea there were saxophone factories here.
Taichung metro station looks so new and clean.
It’s so nice to ride

Thanks so much for watching!
I love Taiwan and wish to go someday for Computex and to import a Ford Pronto to the states. Really cool country and nice people.
That would be cool!
Why in the world would you want to import a Ford Pinto? Hahhaa
@@andrewfreeman88 Pronto not Pinto
@@NikoKourouklisah okay those are cool trucks.
American on the metro (Despicable Me 4)
Between kaohsiung and taichung do you have a favorite city
I do not.
😍
Compare this clean, modern system without drunks and homeless to the NYC MTA-what is wrong with the USA!
Everything for sure.
So what you're saying is that there is no homelessness or alcoholism anywhere other than the US. That's not true.
I did not say that at all-I said that the Taiwan RTS seems to keep their stations clean...unlike NYC or Boston@@Mike.T.
@@Mike.T. thats true, travel the world! I have been many countries.
